"Claire, Table 21 needs to speak with you"Becca replied walking past me

I walked over to Table 21...

"Do you think a kiss will pay my bills?"I spoke sarcastically
"Dude you just got burned"The first man laughed
"Shut up"He said standing up throwing a 20 on the table
"Ignore him, Thank you for your help"He said giving me a 50
"That's to much"I said handing it back
"Sorry gotta run"He said walking away not taking the money
"Thank you"I smiled even though he couldn't see
Yup, I am at work. Yes, I deal with guys like him. You may be wondering what happened on my date. It was good and even perfect. Cathy was mad that I didn't tell her about me getting hurt but, I didn't want her to worry. Her son went home but, was bring his family with him. Cathy and her son Arthur got close again and are really happy together. Anyway about my date well it was something...
*FLASHBACK*
This. Was. Perfect. Then I noticed that Zach was closer...I got closer to him and then the most amazing thing happened....My phone went off.
"Sorry"I sighed with a chuckle
"Its alright"He laughed
I answered the phone...
"Hey is this Claire?"The lady spoke
"It is, Who am I speaking with?"I asked
"I am Vicky of Social Services"She spoke quietly
"Why would you be calling me? My brothers dead and I am the only one left"I replied getting up and walking away
"Right, it is about your brother"She said
"He's dead ma'am"I spoke quietly
"Claire, He has a child"She said with sorryness

I walked to the kitchen and placed all the dishes down and walked over to my other table to check on them. When I walked over I heard someone talking about the Prince. I guess he was supposed to be married to some Princess but, won't because he doesn't want to. Ha, I would HATE to be in his shoes.
"Hey I am Claire and I will be your waiter. Can I start you off with a drink?"I asked
*FLASHBACK*
"He w-what?"I asked in shock
"Yes, His mother is moving away and doesn't want to bring her son until she is ready for him and set up. She told me to call you"Vicky answered
"Its a boy?"I cried
"I take it you didn't know about the baby?"She stated
"No, He was supposed to tell me something a year ago but, I didn't have time to make a trip down yet. I told he needed to wait...but, I didn't know he would have a kid"I cried then I felt hands on my shoulders...I knew who they where
"Well, she wanted you to take the baby in. She knows you moved and is willing on bring the baby herself. If you want the baby"She asked
"Whats his name?"I asked
"Jackson Miles Mason"She spoke
"He has his dad's name for his middle name"I begin

I got there food and drink orders. I walked back into the kitchen where Ricky was, our had chef, and placed the order. I then walked to check the booth to see if they wanted desert.
"You guys all done here? Or do you guys want any desert?"I asked
"Let's do desert. Jackson what do you want?"The father asked
My heart stopped...Jackson...
*FLASHBACK*
"When does he need to be moved? And how? What do I need to do?"I asked
I felt like I owed my brother this more then over.
"We need to send someone out to check your place out. Does Friday work?"She asked
"That's fast. Don't you think? I mean I just found out about him"I spoke
"Sorry but, we need him moved for the mothers sake"She spoke
"For the mothers sake?"I said annoyed "Ok fine, See you in two days"
"See you then"She replied
"Do you know where I live?"I asked
"Yes, we have all the info on you we need"She replied
"Oh? See you then"I said weird out

"So two sundaes, 3 donuts and 1 cheese cake?"I read back
"Yes"The mother smiled
"OK" I smiled then walking away
I walked to the kitchen and again placed the order before walking out to the table again.
"So Henry will bring your desert out. My shift is over"I smiled
"Here is your tip"The mother smiled handing me a 40
"This is too much"I replied
"No please, You do really well"She smiled
I nodded and said goodbyes to my tables and receiving tips. I needed every tip I could get.
*FLASHBACK*
I hung up and turned to Zach you looked at me with a questioned look.
"I...I am now a owner of my brothers son that I didn't know about"I said with tears
"Oh"He said with empathy
"I uh need to leave. I gotta figure this all out now"I said looking up to him with tears
"I get it, Go. I'll clean up"He smiled
"Please let me help"I begged
"No, You need rest"He spoke
"Thank you"I said kissing his check before walking back down the hill to my car. I headed home and cried the whole time. How? Why? When?

I walked to my car and drove to the store. I needed things for tomorrow. I got his room clean just gotta get things for it. I was doing this and Cathy understood. She felt bad but, I needed to for not only Miles but, for Jackson. I went into Wal-mart and went to the baby section. I guess he's 8 months old. He's pretty young. I looked around I got more blankets, bedding, stuffed animals, clothes baby items. I drove home and got started. After a hour and a half I was done.
There are more clothes and things but, these are a few. Tomorrow is going to be busy...I better go to bed early.
