I smile at the top of the bunk.
"I wish I could just skip until we get married and have a kid.", i say not thinking about what I'm actually saying.
"Me too. But if you're patient I promise you'll be mrs. knight and have a little one running around.", he says.
My eyes light up, "Do you really mean that? You wanna have a kid?"
"Of course, I need to pass my geniusness down somehow.", he says and I roll my eyes playfully.
"Can I have my phone?", i ask him.
It's behind him.
"Nah.", he says and lays on top of it.
"Rude.", i say trying to push him over.
He starts laughing and grabs my wrists gently.
"Can I have my phone pleaseeee.", i ask like a little kid.
He readjusts his grip on my wrists to make sure he's not hurting me.
"You have to get it."
I try to get my hands out of his grip and I try to roll over on my back, but I'm met with the edge of the bed.
As I begin to fall off of the bed Awsten reaches over and helps pull me back up.
Somehow I end up on top of him.
"Thanks.", i say quietly, noticing how close our faces are.
Instead of answering me, he kisses me.
It begins to get heated as he pulls me forward, causing me to straddle his waist.
"Nova.", i hear someone call from the lounge.
I begin to climb off of Awsten's body but he pulls me back.
"I."
kiss.
"Love."
kiss.
"You."
kiss.
I smile at him.
"I love you too."
He helps me get out of the tangled mess of a bunk and I walk into the lounge to find Alex smirking at me.
"What?", i ask.
"No sex while a child's on the bus. Or me. I don't wanna hear that."
I laugh, "What do you mean?"
"Y'all were quiet back there, too quiet.", he says holding back a smile.
"Whatever.", i say.
"Can you at least wait until we're off the bus?"
"If I must, mom.", I joke and go back to my bunk.
"What did he want?", Aws asks.
"Just being a jerk as usual.", I chuckle.
Awsten starts kissing my shoulder and works his way to my neck when my phone goes off.
I groan, "I have to go."
He frowns, "But baby I'm gonna miss you."
"Come with meee."
"Where are you going?", he asks.
"I have to put the new merch in the books.", I explain.
We have to write the size and number of how many of that size there are for every shirt and put it in the merch book. It's exhausting.
"Okay.", he says.
I get up from my warm and comfortable bunk and go into the bathroom with my suitcase.
I put on black leggings with white stripes down the side, a random band hoodie, and heeled boots.
I don't bother too much with makeup other than mascara and covering red spots.
When I leave the bathroom I see Awsten has black jeans and a sweater on.
He looks so cute.
I tell Alex where we're going and we head down to merch hand in hand.
Thankfully we arrived at the new venue (only a couple minutes away from the other) last night so they set up today instead of having to rush 30 minutes before the show.
"Hey guys. Nova, all I need you to do is write it down. Blake will read it out for you.", Angel, the merch boy, says.
"Alrighty, that's easy enough.", I agree.
For the next hour I write down sizes and Awsten tries to distract me.
"Hey babe, I think the guys want to go out tonight. Is that cool?", Awsten asks as we're walking back.
"Yep, who's all going?", i ask.
"Just the three of us. The place around here has a new drink and it's based off of Legend of Zelda. Geoff wants to try it.", he admits.
"Aw cute.", i say.
"What are you doing tonight?", he asks.
"Probably just gonna hang out with Gray and Jack. Alex, Rian, and Zach have to go to some type of merch stuff too and PTV is leaving soon."
"I'm glad they're okay.", he says referring to Jack and Gray.
"Me too. They both mean a lot to me so it would suck if they hated each other."
We walk inside the bus and see PTV packing their stuff.
"Are y'all leaving?", i ask.
"Yeah.", Vic frowns, "We have rehearsal starting tomorrow."
"Awe. Well thank you guys for coming, please hit me up more!", I hug all of them.
"Of course.", Mike smiles.
They say goodbye to everyone else and leave.
"I forgot how to function without other people here.", Jack says.
"Same. But I'm hungry. Anybody want me to make them food?", i ask.
Awsten hesitates, "Are you good?"
"I don't know.", i say.
"Oh gosh okay. What are you making?"
"Chicken and vegetables.", i say looks in the fridge.
"Nov, can you make me some?", Jack asks.
"I don't know can I?"
"Pleaseee."
"Fine. Only if you'll put on a movie.", i negotiate.
"Can it be something other than racing stripes?"
I sigh but give in, "Fine."
"Great! We're watching Sing.", he says putting on the movie about singing animals.
"Like that's any better.", I mumble to myself while pulling out 4 pieces of chicken.
An hour and one almost burned down bus later, I hand everyone their food and we sit in the lounge to watch Sing.
"Holy shit you're a good cook.", Awsten says.
"Thank you.", I smile at him.
"Okay but tori kelly is so underrated.", Grayson says while she sings Hallelujah.
"True.", the three of us say at the same time.
By the time the movie was over and everyone got back from work, it's 7.
Awsten, Geoff, and Otto leave to go out for their Zelda drinks leaving ATL and I to watch movies all night.
"Nov, Rocksound wants to do an interview with you!", Alex says.
"How do you know?", i ask curious.
"In their latest article they say they would love to have you."
"I'll check it out.", i say.
I love rocksound so much.
Their articles sound like an actual person wrote it and not a robot, you know?
"Are y'all still going out Saturday?", i ask.
If they are I have to stay home with Grayson.
"Yeah, are you?", Alex asks.
"I should stay here with Gray.", I frown.
I don't wanna have to stay here all the time but if he needs me too I will.
Grayson speaks up, "No, I forbid you from staying in Halloween night. Go out with your friends and man, I'll survive one night alone."
"I'm not leaving you alone Halloween night. There are creeps and drunk people, absolutely not.", i say.
God I sound like mom.
"Now you sound like mom, just go out.", he says.
Jack interrupts, "How about we go out with everyone for a little and then the three of us go and do something."
"Like what?", Grayson and I ask.
"We'll figure it out. But that way, Nov will go out and Gray won't be alone all night.", he says.
We agree and continue to watch movies.
We're up until 2 am watching movies and I become worried that Geoff, Otto, and Awsten aren't home yet.
What if something happened?
"Just call them again.", Jack says.
Everyone else fell asleep.
"I've called 20 times.", i say.
"Wanna go look for them?", he suggests.
I love Jack so much, he never cares about this shit but he's willing to go out and look.
"No, they're probably fine. Go to sleep, don't worry about me.", I smile at him.
He hesitated but goes to his bunk.
It's almost another hour until my phone rings.
It's Awsten.
"Hello?", i ask.
He sounds like he's crying or upset, "I'm so sorr for not calling you we got into a fight and we're lost.", he also sounds drunk.
Geoff is a drinker so I figure he won't be sober enough to explain, so I ask for the most adult person there.
"Give the phone to otto please."
I hear a lot of shuffling and then Otto says, "Hey Nov."
"Hey, what's going on?", worry is laced in my voice.
"Well the guy kept giving us drinks and Awsten never drinks so he had 2 and he's wasted. I only had one but I honestly have no idea where we are and we're walking. Geoff is, well. He's not here mentally.", Otto explains.
It takes everything in me not to laugh at the situation.
"Can you tell me anything around you?", i ask.
"There's a sign that says 25mph and there's like a church or something right behind us. We're walking on a gravel sidewalk and there's a really dead tree across the street."
"Okay I'll find y'all. I'm leaving right now.", i say.
"Hurry up its scary.", I hear Geoff say in the background.
"Bye.", I hang up and leave the bus.
