Marinette was sprinting. She had one minute to get to school before she was late! With one last sprint marinette was able to make it into class right before the bell. She let out a sigh of relief before Alya started laughing beside her.
"Glad to see you got to school in time," she teased.
Marinette laughed with her. It was true, she was rarely ever on time. Alya usually teases her that no alarm clock could wake her up in the morning, but it more was than that. Marinette had a secret. When she wasn't being Marinette, she was Ladybug, a superhero that protected Paris along side her partner Cat Noir. With late night patrols and missing class to go fight Alina's, it was a wonder her school grades haven't dropped.
As the lesson started, her eyes peered towards a certain blondie who sat in front of her.
Adrien Agreste.
As hard as she tried to keep it a secret, it seemed as if everyone knew! Well, everyone except Adrien. Adrien was a popular model and the son of her idle, Gabriel Agreste, but she wasn't head over heels for him because of his father, or the fact he was a model, it was his compassion and kindness that stole her heart. Adrien was amazing, but unfortunately, Marinette was so head over heels she could barely speak to him!
Meanwhile, Adrien was sitting in front, daydreaming about his crush; Ladybug.
Adrien knew he had a ton of fans who adored him for his looks and his money, but behind all that he had a secret. He was Cat Noir, a superhero who fought akumitized victims alongside ladybug.
Ladybug.
The girl of his dreams. She was so brave and smart and beautiful. His favourite part of everyday was getting to see her. Her bluebell eyes and Midnight blue hair...
His thoughts were interrupted when Ms Bustier called upon him.
"Adrien I do hope you are paying attention to my lesson?" She asked.
"Yes Ms Bustier," Adrien replied
Ms Bustier nodded and went back to her lesson. Nino playfully hit his arm.
"Dude, what was that just now? What are you daydreaming about?" He asked
"Nothing, I just zoned out," Adrien said.
"Well, be careful dude, I wouldn't want you to get in trouble for not paying attention," he said
"Yeah," Adrien said
"Guess it's a good thing today is Friday, huh? Nobody seems to be able to pay attention," Nino observed, seeing how everyone was doing something other than paying attention to the lesson. Everyone was anxious for the last bell to ring and for the weekend to begin.
Finally, the last bell rang and everyone began running out, happy it was the weekend. Marinette was walking out with Alya, talking about their plans for the weekend.
"I'm hoping to get some more footage of ladybug for the ladyblog, how about you?" Alya asked
"I going to-" she was cut off by screaming in the distance.
"Well, it looks like you'll get that ladybug footage you want after all," Marinette said
"I'm going over there, you coming?" Alya asked
"I can't, my parents will be expecting me home, don't worry, I'll see it all through the ladyblog," marinette said.
"Alright, I'll see you later girl!" Alya said before running off into the distance. Afterwards, Marinette ran to a safe hiding spot and opened up her purse. Tikki flew out.
"I think hawkmoth has akumitzed another victim. We need to stop them!" Marinette said.
"You know what to do Marinette, just say the words," tikki said
"Tikki spots on!" Ladybug transformed and went to go fight the akuma. It was a man who was an all black karate outfit. He kept punching and buildings with super human strength.
"Jordan, I demand a rematch! This time, I will not lose!" He yelled out into the streets of Paris.
Just as he was about to smash another building, ladybug wrapped her yo-yo around his wrist and stopped him.
"I think you've smashed enough buildings today," she said.
The man used the yo-yo wrappers around his wrist to pull ladybug in front of him.
"Ah, Ladybug, you are a worthy challenger. I will enjoy defeating you in battle, and as my prize, your miraculous, and then I, The unbeatable master shall be the greatest karate master there has ever been!"" He said, and then began to attack her. He tried to punch and kick her but she kept on dodging. Now he was getting really angry and was about to attempt to punch ladybug again, when he was hit with a baton, knocking him to the ground.
"Hasn't anyone told you it's rude to hit a lady?" Cat Noir asked.
The unbeatable master got up and and tried hitting cat noir, but he kept dodging the attacks,"
"Any idea where his akuma is M'lady" he asked ladybug.
"No, he's not holding anything and all I don't see anywhere the akuma could be," Ladybug said.
"Well, it has to be somewhere, don't worry, we'll find it," Cat Noir said.
The two kept dodging his attacks. By this point, he was furious. He stopped advancing on them.
"Do you think he's given up?" Cat Noir asked.
All of a sudden, he punched up a huge piece of concrete from the ground and kicking at them. The two of them quickly jumped out of the way.
"Nope he definitely has not given up," Ladybug said.
"Well, what do we do?" Cat Noir said
Ladybug looked at the unbeatable master. He seems to have been akumatized because he was beaten in a karate battle.
Her eyes lit up.
"Cat Noir of course! He's a karate master! The akuma must be in his belt!" Ladybug said.
"How are we going to get it from him?" He asked
"To beat a karate master, Well have to go back to the superhero basics," she said
"LUCKY CHARM!" she yelled out and got a metre measuring stick.
"What am I supposed to do with thi-"
"LADYBUG LOOK OUT!" Cat Noir yelled.
While Ladybug was doing lucky charm, The unbeatable master had gotten up and was about to punch ladybug with such force it could knock her out of the city. Cat Noir dove and pushed Ladybug out of the way. There was a green flash and then Cat Noir was gone!
"Cat Noir!" Ladybug called out, but she couldn't do anything right now. She had to get the unbeatable master's akuma. She looked around and came up with a plan. She started running towards the unbeatable master, and seeing this, he started running towards her. Then when she was close enough, she started to slide on the ground and knock the unbeatable master over with the measuring stick. Then she used her yo-yo to grab his feet and hoist him up in the air. From there, ladybug easily grabbed his belt and tore it in two. The akuma was then released and flew out.
"No more evil doing for you little akuma," she said
"Time to de-evilize!" She said.
She caught the akuma and then purified it.
"Bye-bye little butterfly," she said, she then threw the measuring stick into the air.
"MIRACULOUS LADYBUG!" She yelled.
Her miraculous did her work and everything went back to normal. Well, almost everything. Cat noir wasn't anywhere to be found, her miraculous should've returned him to the fight scene.
"Cat? C'mon cat noir come out!" She said
When he didn't come out, she became slightly more concerned.
"Cat Noir this isn't funny, come out!" Ladybug yelled.
When there was still no response she became panicked. Where was he? She began to frantically search for him through the area. He was no where to be found. Ladybug was about to detransform, so she had to leave, but she was extremely worried. Where was Cat Noir?
Later that night cat Noir hadn't shown up to patrol either. Ladybug searched the entire city for him, but no no avail. Where is he? Where could he have gone?
"Oh Cat Noir, where are you! She asked to the sky, hoping wherever he was, he was safe.
Cat noir woke up in a dark place.
"Huh? Where am I?" He thought.
He didn't recognize where he was.
"Wherever we are kid, we are in big trouble" A voice said in his head
Huh? Who was that? Adrien asked in his thoughts
"It's me kid, Plagg, your Kwami,"
To this news, he was relieved for a moment. He thought he was going crazy, but then he was suddenly alarmed again.
"Why can I hear your thoughts?" He asked
"Same reason I can hear yours. Something must've happened to your miraculous, bonding us into one being."
One being? What do you mean one being, Plagg?" Adrien asked.
He stood up and managed to find a puddle. The second he stood up he realized something wasn't right. He looked down and saw black paws. Alarmed, He walked towards it and looked at his reflection. When he saw his reflection, he gasped.
He had turned into a cat!
