"I've decided ... to let them go." - Chaeyeon
Aunt Jiyoung and Yoongi walked up to her and stood next to her.
"Are you sure about this?" - Aunt Jiyoung
Chaeyeon turned her head to Aunt Jiyoung and nodded without hesitation.
"What's the point of keeping them, having hope? My mom is never going to wake up and my dad is nearly surviving." - Chaeyeon
Yoongi then walked up to her and stood in front of her.
"But keeping them is better than letting them go and never seeing them again. Keeping them can give us a chance to save them." - Yoongi
Chaeyeon looks up at him with teary eyes.
"How?! If we keep them, I would have to come here every single day, seeing them asleep and never waking up. Seeing them in the same state is much more worse than not seeing them for the rest of my life. This way I know that they are in peace and not in pain." - Chaeyeon
Yoongi was struck by her words as he lowered his head and sighed. Jungkook wanted to convince Chaeyeon to keep having hope but he couldn't find any words to say.
The doctor and the nurse nods their heads to one another as Chaeyeon walks to the middle and waits for them to do their job. Yoongi, Jungkook, and Aunt Jiyoung were standing behind Chaeyeon as they also waits.
When the nurse unplugs their oxygen and IV, Chaeyeon then starts shaking in fear. Tears streamed down Chaeyeon's cheeks as memories come flashing back to her.
"Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday, happy birthday! Happy birthday to you!" - Haru and Sejun
Chaeyeon was smiling widely as she sees her whole family there with her on her 6th birthday.
"Happy birthday, princess." - Sejun
"Your father and I both love you very much." - Haru
...
Haru was putting Chaeyeon to sleep as Sejun was finished reading Chaeyeon a book.
"When will I hear about your love story?" - Chaeyeon
Sejun and Haru looks at one another and smiles.
"One day sweetheart." - Haru
"Will I get a happy ending in my love story?" - Chaeyeon
"Of course you will. If you choose the right one, you'll get your happy ending no matter what." - Sejun
Chaeyeon chuckles as they both kissed her on her forehead.
....
"Dad! What are you doing? Who is that woman?" - Chaeyeon
"He's leaving us, sweetie. For good." - Haru
....
Chaeyeon could hear her mother's scream from down the hall as tears couldn't stop streaming down her face. Aunt Jiyoung hugs her as she continues to cry in her aunt's embrace.
....
"Every since I left you and your mother, not one day past without me missing the both of you. Not one day passed, without me trying to think of a way for all of us to live as one family again." - Sejun
Chaeyeon came back to reality when both of the heart monitors went flatline as Chaeyeon starts to sob louder. She thought she could be brave and hold the pain in but she was wrong. The moment she heard the heart monitors goes flat, she broke down right at that moment, knowing she wouldn't hear her parent's voices ever again.
Yoongi couldn't witness the scene as he turns away and to the windows, crying his eyes out. Aunt Jiyoung then walks to Chaeyeon and held onto her while sobbing along with her.
"They're gone." - Chaeyeon
Aunt Jiyoung closes her eyes as she tries to soothe the fragile girl that was in her arms. Jungkook wipes his tears away as he walks up to both of the heart monitors and turned it off.

TWO WEEKS LATER
The funeral was finished as Mr. and Mrs. Min were already buried, Chaeyeon was now just walking around in her father's room looking at the pictures he still kept from years ago.
When Chaeyeon placed the photobook on the bed, a hand held onto her left hand, stopping her as she looks up only to see Jungkook. He then brought his other hand and caressed her cheek as Chaeyeon leaned into his palm.
"To clear our minds from all of this, how about we go on our honeymoon?" - Jungkook
"Where are we going?" - Chaeyeon
"Fiji." - Jungkook
Chaeyeon raised one of her eyebrows in shock as Jungkook gave her a smile.
"Are we really going there? I thought we would be going to Jeju Island?" - Chaeyeon
Jungkook scoffed.
"Whenever couples gets married, they always go to Jeju Island or to Hawaii. I want to go somewhere different and I thought about, why not Fiji." - Jungkook
Chaeyeon chuckles at Jungkook's sudden honest reply as Jungkook was smiling widely of hearing her laugh after two weeks of her being drained from grief.
"Fine. When are we leaving?" - Chaeyeon
"We're leaving the day after tomorrow, so we should start packing up." - Jungkook
Chaeyeon nodded her head along with a smile as Jungkook gently held onto her hand and walked her out of the room, towards the living room.

"You're going to Fiji?!" - RyuJin
Both Jungkook and Chaeyeon nodded as they continue to pack whatever they need for their honeymoon.
"Finally, you guys will be away from all of the chaos happening around here." - RyuJin
Chaeyeon stops packing and looks at her.
"How's your wound? Is it healing good?" - Chaeyeon
"Don't worry about me. I'm fine. These kind of wounds takes months to heal." - RyuJin
Chaeyeon smiles as she nods her head and continue to pack.
"So? What are you going to do about your mother?" - Jungkook
Chaeyeon once again stops packing when she heard Mrs. Shin's name. Jungkook and RyuJin quickly noticed Chaeyeon's sudden mood as Chaeyeon stood up straight and looks at them.
"Yea? What are you going to do about her?" - Chaeyeon
RyuJin sighes.
"Well obviously, we will have to go through court, but don't worry about her. No matter how much she defends herself, she won't get away with it that easily. We have enough evidences to lock her up in jail for the rest of her lives." - RyuJin
"Don't you pity your own mother?" - Chaeyeon
RyuJin then lowered her head down.
"How can I when she did a lot of horrible things? Even if I'm her daughter and wants to help her, I couldn't. It's too late for her." - RyuJin
Chaeyeon looks away in guilt for asking her the question as Jungkook tries to make the atmosphere more calm.
"How about we stop packing for a bit and go out for a family dinner?" - Jungkook
Both Chaeyeon and RyuJin looks up at him as they saw a smile on his face. Chaeyeon and RyuJin gave each other a stare and nods their head in agreement. Jungkook then claps his hands together in excitement.
"Okay then. Let's go!" - Jungkook
RyuJin and Chaeyeon both laugh at his baby excitement as RyuJin walks out of the room with Jungkook and Chaeyeon following behind.
