The rest of the night goes smoothly.
I decide I'll call my mom tomorrow, Waterparks plays an amazing show, All Time Low blows the crowd away, and everyone was in a good mood.
Alex is helping me get ready for the date tonight. He surprisingly has good taste.
"Okay so he's doing something that you shouldn't be wearing a dress or heels to. So we need something cute and practical.", he says looking through my bag.
First I try on a purple floral romper, but Alex quickly opens the door to see what the weather's like and it's kinda cold.
His eyes go wide and he's says, "Wait I have the perfect outfit."
He hands me black ripped jeans, black fishnet's, and a torn up Nirvana shirt.
I try it on and he claps, "The best look I've ever come up with."
"Isn't it cold out? All of my clothes have holes in them.", i say.
He looks around and throws me a random flannel that was laying on the floor.
It's black and grey.
I throw on grey vans and separate my hair into low pigtails and braid them.
I put on a beanie and spray myself with perfume.
Soon after there's a knock on the door.
I walk over and open it, seeing Awsten in black jeans, a band shirt, and a black coat.
"You look gorgeous.", he says.
I thank him and say, "You look great too."
I close the door behind me and he holds my hand.
"We're walking if that's cool with you.", he says.
I nod and he turns on music.
After about 10 minutes of walking I steal his phone and change the song to "bye bye bye" by *NSYNC.
We sing along and dance making each other laugh the entire walk there.
"This is part one.", he says and I realize we're in a pumpkin patch.
It's clearly not open and we shouldn't take pumpkins from it, but we're going to anyway.
"We kinda have to be quiet because I don't want to be shot, but pick out a pumpkin.", he says quietly.
I run over to a gigantic pumpkin.
It's big enough for me to sit on it.
I sit on top of the pumpkin and smile cheesily at Awsten.
I'm talking eyes closed, smile takes up half my face kinda smile.
Awsten takes a picture of me and we go back to looking for two perfect pumpkins.
As we're walking around a light flashes in the field and we hear someone ask, "Who's out here?"
Awsten and I look at each other and crouch down hoping they don't see us.
"I have a gun and I'm not afraid to use it.", he says louder.
Awsten and I grab a pumpkin each and slowly walk towards the road.
"Aha!", he says pointing the light at us.
We begin running with heavy ass pumpkins in our hands.
It feels like we were running forever until we were at the beginning of the town and out of the mans sights.
I place my pumpkin on the ground and laugh, "We almost got shot."
"But we didn't, that's the only thing we should take away from this.", he says joining me in laughter.
"So what are we doing with these?"
"That's part 2. Target date. We're gonna walk to Target and get pumpkin carving stuff, Halloween decorations, and costumes.", he says.
I awe, "That is so cute. Then what?"
"Go home, carve the pumpkins, decorate the buses, and wait patiently until Halloween and dress up.", he says.
"This is the cutest date I've ever been on.", i say.
"Glad you like it.", he smirks.
"Where's target?"
"About half a mile from here.", he says and we begin walking again.
10 minutes later we walk through the target doors and people stare at us.
It probably doesn't help that we're both covered in dead leaves, grass, and we're holding pumpkins.
Awsten takes out his phone and films us.
"Target date!", he says pointing the camera at the both of us.
"We almost got shot and I'm covered in leaves.", I walk up way too close to the camera to show my nose and we both laugh.
He puts his phone away and we continue shopping.
He throws in 3 bags of candy and bat lights.
I pick up a bowl that has a hand in it that grabs your hand when you grab candy and a blow up scooby doo that has a bag over his head.
We grab 3 more sets of lights and decide that's enough decorations, along with the spider web we already have at the bus.
Then we pick out costumes.
Awsten goes with a pirate costume and I decide on a dog costume.
"Did you bring the pumpkins in?", the cashier asks.
I nod and she scans the rest of our stuff.
We grab the back and walk out of the door.
"How are we going to get all of this home without killing our arms?", i ask.
"Now this is the fun part.", he says and looks around.
When it seems like no one is outside he grabs a cart and put our stuff in it.
"We're stealing a cart?"
"Yup."
"Can I sit in it?"
"Why not.", he says shrugging.
I smirk and climb inside of the cart with the pumpkins and bags.
After being pushed around for 10 minutes, Awsten pushes me down a street and runs after me so I don't hit something.
I'm pretty sure we woke up everyone because it's 10pm and we're laughing and yelling.
Awsten films me as I'm flying down the street and he's running after me.
Once he catches me I turn around in the cart to face him.
"I miss you.", i didn't mean to say that.
"You miss me? But I'm right here.", he says looking both ways before crossing the street.
Now I have to explain myself, "I know. But I still miss you."
He leans over the cart handle and kisses me.
"I'm not going anywhere."
I smile at him.
Suddenly a car beeps at us and we realize that we're stopped in the middle of the street.
"Go somewhere else and do that!", he yells.
"Just because your romance is dead doesn't mean ours is.", Awsten says loud enough for him to hear it.
He goes around us, flipping us off as he passes us.
We laugh at him.
"Wanna get in?", i ask him.
He must be tired from pushing me AND cart.
"I don't think I'll fit.", he says.
"Nonsense.", i say getting out of the cart.
He shakes his head before climbing into the cart.
I start pushing him through the town and we make conversation.
"What are we gonna do after tour?", i ask.
"Well you have an apartment in PA and I live in Texas. I have no problem flying out to PA for a couple weeks, and if you want I can fly you out to Texas sometime and you can meet my parents?", he suggests.
I freeze.
"Or not? If you aren't comfortable with it.", he notices.
"No, no. No boyfriend of mine has ever wanted me to meet his parents before and I wasn't expecting it. But I'd love to.", I smile at him.
"Awesome. I know they'll love you.", he says.
My smile gets bigger.
I hope they will.
Before we know it, we're at the venue.
I push the cart into the ATL bus and we hear screams making us laugh.
I open the door and Awsten follows me.
Geoff and Otto are over.
"Hi!", we hear everyone yell.
They're playing video games.
"How'd it go?", Alex asks.
"Great, but it's not over yet.", i say.
We bring all of the supplies and pumpkins in the bus and set up a station at one of the tables.
"I have no idea what to make.", Awsten says looking at me.
I chuckle, "Then you're going to lose."
"Oh this is a competition now?", he asks.
I nod.
"You're going down loser.", he says grabbing a marker.
"Sure.", i say doubtful.
I take out my phone and look up a picture of scream.
I begin drawing the face on my pumpkin.
Awsten does the same thing with Jack from Nightmare Before Christmas.
After we're both done drawing, they look really good actually.
We start carving and the first handful of guts Awsten gets he throws them at me.
I gasp but smirk as I grab a handful of pumpkin guts and chuck it at his arm.
"Ew.", he says picking it off.
"You started it.", I shrug.
He throws more and it gets stuck in my hair.
I lean in to kiss him and right before our lips touch I smear pumpkin all over his face.
"It smells so bad!", he says wiping it off.
"Y'all are stinking up the bus, the bunks absorb smells!", Jack says.
I quickly close the door to the bunks because they actually do absorb fragrances.
"You're annoying.", Awsten jokes.
"But you love meee.", i say while carving the eyes out.
"True.", he says and I almost stab myself.
Did he mean that or was he saying that because I did?
Once we're done with carving, we put a candle inside both of the pumpkins.
I have to admit, they're both really nice.
We show the guys and tell them to judge.
"I feel like Nova's looks complicated but it was really just one shape. So I'm gonna give it to Awsten.", Alex says and I gasp.
"You're supposed to be on my side!", i say.
"But then I'd be lying."
"Rude.", I cross my arms.
"Still love you though.", he says.
"Yeah yeah, love you too."
Awsten leans over and kisses me.
"Good try babe."
I lightly slap his arm, "Shush."
"I don't know about you but I think this was a great date.", he says leading me into the bathroom to change.
"It was a lot of fun, thank you cutie."
He smiles, "You're welcome."
He changes his shirt because his old one has pumpkin guts on it.
I do the same and put a pair of shorts on underneath it.
He puts on sweatpants and we wash our faces, of course messing around with the water.
"Do a face mask with me!", i say.
"Okay.", he agrees.
That was surprisingly easy.
I get out a clay mask for both of us and we put it on each other.
"We have to wait 15 minutes?", he groans.
I laugh, "You're so impatient."
I set a timer on my phone.
"What are we gonna do for 15 minutes?"
"I don't know."
"I have an idea.", he smirks.
I already know what he's thinking.
"Shush.", I push him slightly.
"Make meee.", he sings fixing his hair in the mirror.
I walk over to him and kiss him.
It gets heated veryyy quickly.
I'm pushed up against the wall with my legs around him when the timer goes off.
I laugh as he groans at the interruption.
I wash mine off and he does the same.
We leave the bathroom shortly after and go to my bunk, grateful that we cleaned our mess before so we could just go to bed.
We lay down in my bunk and his arms are wrapped around me.
I turn on the TV and bob's burgers is on.
We watch a couple episodes before he says, "You still smell like pumpkin, but now there's a hint of fruit from the mask."
"So do you.", i say.
He chuckles and kisses my forehead before closing his eyes.
The last thing I remember thinking before I go to sleep is,
I never want this to stop
