English GCSE is hard. I've heard a lot of people complain about the poetry course. I have too. I decided that to make some sort of contribution I'd make a comprehensive log (you could say) of all the poems, and have written everything about them with information I have gotten from a menagerie of different websites.

The general formula of presentation goes like this: Précis (summary of what the poem's about), Context (the circumstances that form the setting for the idea of the poem), Themes (a description and analysis of the poem's underlying subjects), Structure (a description and analysis of the poem's form), Interpretation* (a stylistic representation of the poem, provided by https://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/gcsebitesize),  The poem itself, Some definitions, Language (analysis of some of the language itself, e.g imagery, allegory, sound, etc), Stanza by Stanza/Segment by Segment Analysis (provided by poemanalysis.com), Line by Line Analysis (provided by genius.com), Further Analysis (a closer look at each word/line and what their intentions are, provided by http://thebicesterschool.org.uk/wpcontent/uploads/2017/02/Poetry-Support-Booklet.pdf) and a Comparison to another poem on the specification.

*Not all poems will contain interpretations, as some did not have any available information I could find, nor am I good at interpretations myself. If you have any ideas for interpretations feel free to comment them, and I will add it as soon as I can and credit you.
