Michael's POV
"If you're gonna do a plan, atleast follow through with it"
She looks at me like I'm crazy "What are you talking about?" "I just saw Brie. She had just bought a pregnancy test"
"Why would she need a pregnancy test?" "Take a lucky Melissa. Dead pregnancy girl plus witch. And you really thought she wasn't powerful" I cross my arms
Brie's POV
"You're really planning on killing Melissa?"
"With the right materials..." "but what about what you told me? How it could use all your power or even worse..." "this way I won't have to"
I smiled. She's wonderful and powerful. And she shouldn't die over something as annoying as this
"So how are you doing?" She asked me. "I would feel better if everyone didn't ask me that"
"Sorry" "It's fine. Believe me the worse part is..." I'm cut off by Grayson walking in the room
"Hey guys" I wave and Olivia says hey back
"You guys want anything?" He ask. He was about to enter the kitchen. "No I'm good" Olivia says. "Brie? Water? Chips?"
"I'm fine" he nods and walk in the kitchen
"That. That is the most annoying thing" I whisper. "He's just being polite"
"Before you got here he asked me if I was ok twenty times. Yeah. I counted. He treats my like I'm a child"
"He probably just thinks he's helping" "Well he's not"
He walks out of the kitchen with two waters and two bags of chips. He smiles and hands one of each to me
"I said I was fine" "I know. Just in case"
He smiles again and walks upstairs
"Well I'm gonna leave you to it" she grabs her stuff and heads for the door
I take a deep breath and walk upstairs to Grayson room
I knock and he opens the door "hey. Come in. Sit" I sat on his bed
This is basically where I live now. I can't live with my parents because I would be asked the question "why are you throwing up all the time?" everyday. Can't live at the dorm anymore because of the tight spaces so this was my only other option.
"Grayson. In the time of me living here...you've made me feel different" "how different?" "You treat me like I'm constantly carrying a ticking bomb everywhere I go"
"I just want you to be comfortable"
"I am comfortable"
"But you're different now. You're pregnant" "Gray I'm still the same girl who pushed you off the monkey bars when you were six"
He looked down at his feet then back at me "ok. Then we're heading out" "What? Where are we going?" "To be more comfortable"
Grayson's POV
The sun was setting and the sky was turning orange
This always made me feel calm. I hope she feels calm too
"A lake" she says "alright I'm comfortable. What now?"
"We watch"
As I think about a memory I start to laugh
"What are you laughing about?" She ask. "Remember the time we went to the water park. You were so scared to go down the water slide you peed your pants" I start to laugh even harder
"Ha Ha very funny" she says annoyed but it was still funny
"You were such a chicken. And still are"
"I am not a chicken" "yeah you are. Just embrace it"
She looks at me then back at the water
She takes off her shirt then her shoes
"What are you doing?" "Showing you I'm not a chicken" she runs into the water
After I see her get halfway in I take off my shirt and go after her
Only when I got there I couldn't find her
Brie's POV
I run into the water and it's freezing cold
I see him run after me and decided to hind underwater. I see his legs come closer and I jump out
He jumps and grabs his chest catching his breath
"Don't. Do. That. Again."
"Ha. Did I scare you?" "No. I'm not scared of chickens. But I am scared of wasps"
He looks around my head and I start to fight the air and continue until I hear his hard laugh
I punch his chest but he catches my wrist making my hand land of his chest
We stay in this position longer until I notice how close we already were and he starts to lean in. I lean in as well. Our lips were inches apart until I hear him cough and back away
"Uh. We should get going" he said. "Yeah. We should"
Isabella's POV
We walk until we reach the school
"Here? Why here?" I ask him. "Just wait"
We walk into the gym and I see a table with two candles and a rose in a vase at the center
"Ethan!" I smile uncontrollably "you shouldn't have" he smiles. "Come on"
We sit and I admire him
"I wish you were here" he said. "I am here" "no. I mean here here. Like real life"
I sigh "me too" "I just feel like I could have been there. I could have protected you like I'm supposed to" "Ethan how many times do I have to tell you that I can protect myself?" "When you're not in a coma"
"I'm Isabella Pierce Pretrova, Westfield, Mikaelson. If I can survive all these years, I can survive a coma"
Ethan's POV
After we talked I said my goodbyes and entered the reality again
I let go of her hand and walked out of the room
Technically I'm not supposed to be here but I have a way with words
I look down the hall and see Grayson and Brie coming towards me
"What are you guys doing here? And why is your hair wet?" "Not important. Here"
He handed me a note "it was on my car"
The babies will not survive. If I can't get what I want neither will you.
I sigh and hand it back. "Well what are we gonna do?" He asked. "We're gonna wait it out"
"Wait it out?" Brie slightly yells. "For her to kill me"
"No. Until we make an offer" "what offer?"
I opened my mouth to y'all but was interrupted by the sounds of doctors running and talking
I turn to see a herd of doctors
They were going to Isabella's room
I run to one and tap his shoulder "what's going on?"
"She's not responding to the treatment we gave her this morning. Her mind is in shock. She needs surgery right now" he turns to walk away but I pull him back "but I was just with her. She was fine"
Grayson grads my shoulder "let them go Ethan. She'll be ok"
