Calypso

Being the new girl sucks, but it also had its perks. Lots of people were nice, but they weren't gonna last long, they usually don't.
I sat on my bed listening to music on my record player that my grandma gifted me. I had the biggest urge to cry, but nothing was happening. I closed my eyes, I was exhausted. All of a sudden, my music stopped playing. I opened my eyes to darkness, all the lights in my room were off.
"γιαγιά?" I call out, and got no response.
(grandma?)
I walked outside and saw that it was raining and storming out. Today really fits with my mood. I laughed at my thoughts.
"What are you laughing at Sunshine?" I turned my head to the direction of the voice to be met with Leo Valdez..
"None of your business." I crossed my arms across my chest. I was wearing a thin t-shirt and the weather was not helping me warm up.
"Sure it is." He said back, He smirked at me.
"Well it's not." I frowned " Goodbye Leo."
"See you at school sunshine." Leo called out as i was shutting the door. I got a glass of water and headed back to my room.
I finished my drink and went into bed, I cuddled up to my blankets absorbing the warmth. Soon I fell asleep.

I woke up, after hitting the snooze button a few time. I finally got up and got dressed. I threw on some ripped jeans and a yellow hoodie. I walked down the stairs, going into the kitchen.
"καλή γιαγιά το πρωί" I greeted my grandma
good morning grandma
"Καλημέρα, αγαπητό μου καλυψώ" She greeted me back with a big smile
*good morning my dear calypso.*
I ate my breakfast which consisted of greek yogurt and some fruit.
"Δεν είμαι τόσο πεινασμένος και πρέπει να πάω" I say, grabbing my bag and keys.
*I'm not that hungry, and i should get going*
"Έχετε μια καλή μέρα γλυκιά" My grandma calls out. I wave to her as I close the door, heading towards my car.
*Have a good day sweetie*

I arrive at school and find a parking spot. I turned off the car, dreading going in. I mess with my hair and makeup a little bit in my mirror before getting out.
I walk up to the big doors, dreading every moment. I walk inside, instantly finding Hazel talking to this guy, I think his name is Drank? No wait, It's Tank. I remember now, Frank. I walked up to her with a small smile. She looks like she really likes this guy.
"Hey Hazel!" I smile
"Calypso!!" Hazel hugged me. " How was your weekend."
"Good. How was yours." I asked
"Omg just The best! Frank and I, we saw that new movie. Frank what's it called?" She hit his chest lightly trying to get his attention, which was already on her. He looked at her like she was his world... I wanted something like that.
"Jumanji 2." He replied.
"Oh m gee! I just loved it!" She smiled really big.
It was passing between 4th and 5th period, Hazel and I were talking about random stuff when the fire alarm went off.
"LEO!" Hazel shouted, And you could hear other people down the hall shout it too. I laughed at it. Of course Leo Valdez somehow set off the fire alarm.

i'm going to be updating every three days or so, It might late, it might not, it's all when i start writing. And it could be just one chapter redone, maybe two? It's all that I feel doing that day :]
