Asami POV
I had just agreed with Tenzin, I'm taking ten percent of the show
He let me up onto the balcony so I could get a good view
A tanned girl shoots into the air with a gust of wind, she must be a bender
Suddenly she shoots in my direction with fire
I get a good look at her face, it was like time stopped for a second, she fell back down to the ground
"Who is that" I ask tenzin
"That's Korra, she is the Avatar"
"She beautiful" I feel my cheeks warm up
"Come on we have performers to meet" Tenzin pulls me away
But the only thing I can think about is Korra, but so many people discriminate benders never mind the colour of her skin
The acts finished up and I walked downstairs and backstage
There were a multitude of people, all different shapes and colours of skin
I had never seen anything so amazing
"Ah Korra, this is Asami Sato she is inventing in the show" Tenzin says almost Giddy
Her blues eyes stare at me
"What's your act" The avatar asks
Wow she has a pretty voice
Why am I so flustered
"I don't have an act"
She lifts a dark brow

"Everyone has an act" She says before walking away
I look up at Tenzin, his bald head was shining in the light
"Let's get started" he says
I follow him into his office
Time skip
I walked with Korra to the theatre, she had forgiven me for letting go her hand because my father was watching but I have gotten over that
"Excited to see the play?" I ask her
"I have always wanted to see it" She replies
Suddenly she stops dead in her tracks
I look up only to see my father
"Asami what are doing with this woman, why would you foul around with this circus freak" He says to me
I look at the Avatar I could see tears in her eyes
Korra runs away
"Korra Wait" I yell after the women I fell for
"How could you, no one deserves that, I can't believe I'm your daughter" I hiss at him
I run after her
I made it to the circus, I took of my scarf and took of the belt on my red dress
I saw Korra wrapping material around her wrist

"Korra I'm sorry" I grab her arm
"It's not your fault" She walked to the centre of the wring
When she suddenly shoot up into the air
I walk up to where she took off
There was scorch marks on the ground
"You know I want you" I stand to climb the balcony
"It's not a secret I try to hide" I land in the seating area
"I know you want me" I scan the room to find her
"So don't keep saying our hands are tied" my eyes see a small flame
"You claim it's not in the cards" I ran across the seating to where she was
"But fate is pulling you miles away" I see her eyes shining
"And out of reach from me" She was holding into a beam on the ceiling
"But you're here in my heart"I look at her right in her eyes
"So who can stop me if I decide" I reach out for her
"That you're my destiny?" I fall from the balcony
I feel a pair of strong arms catch me
Korra sets me down
"You think it's easy" she looks at me and walks away
"You think I don't want to run to you" She turns around
"But there are mountains" she grabs me around the waist
"And there are doors that we can't walk through" a gust of air shoots us up
"I know you're wondering why" we land back down once again
"Because we're able to be" She unties the material from her left hand
"Just you and me" She wraps it around my wrist but leaving some loose
"Within these walls" I grip on the white material
"But when we go outside" we shoot up with some fire
"You're gonna wake up and see that it was hopeless after all" I pull myself up and wrap my arms around her waist, I'm not huge fan of heights
"No one can rewrite the stars" We float with a gust of air
"How can you say you'll be mine" we fall down
"Everything keeps us apart" she takes the material of my wrist and wraps it around hers
"And I'm not the one you were meant to find" she walks away
"It's not up to you" I could hear her singing in the dark
"It's not up to me" her voice sounded like an angle
"When everyone tells us what we can be" her voice cracked slightly
"How can we rewrite the stars?"
"Say that the world can be ours"

Time skip
More and more protesters came, since Tenzin was doing his new show
Men came backstage
I fixed my top hat and my jacket
"Sorry I'm need to ask you to leave" I tell them
More performers line up behind me
"We are going to destroy you freaks" one of the men says
Bolin korra's Brother punched one of the men
And the fight began
Suddenly a flame erupted in the building
Everyone ran out
I looked back at the burning building
I scan around for Korra
"Where Korra" someone yells
"She must be trying to put out the fire" Bolin says

I ran into the fire using my coat to protect myself
I hear a crack
I feel a huge pressure on my back
I collapsed to the ground
My vision blurs as pain shoots up my body
I hear my name being called before everything goes black
In a hospital some time later
My eyes slowly open, I feel weigh on my legs
I look down to see Korra asleep on me
A smile creep onto my face
Her eyes slowly flutter open
"Asami oh my goodness your so stupid" she hugs me
I groan in pain
"I'm so sorry" She panicks
"It's fine"
We lean in until our lips meet
