Harry Styles and Ava Elizabeth Bell: The collaboration we've all been dying for.
Early last week, Ava Elizabeth and Harry Styles started teasing us with photos of both of them in recording studios. Understandably, fans of both stars were excited to hear that their idols were making new music, but they were ecstatic when they found out that they would be making A WHOLE ALBUM together! That's right. A few days later it was announced that they were in the same studio writing and recording songs together.
The album is said to have Ava Elizabeth's signature pop sound mixed in with Styles' new found rock/R&B sound. An inside source tells us that there will be around ten tracks all featuring their vocals, and the album is set to be released by the end of this year! Both Styles and Bell seem to be killing the game this year, and we're sure this album will just be added to the list of their successes.
Since the announcement of their new music, the two have posted nonstop on their social media, giving fans little clues and insights on their future record. Their closeness has of course sparked numerous dating rumors, but neither star has commented on the status of their relationship. The two have been friends since Styles first stepped into the spotlight back in 2011, and they've stayed friends through the years. Fans of the two have wanted them to collaborate on an album ever since Ava Elizabeth started her solo music career in 2012. We've loved seeing these two grow up together and we can't wait to see what they've got in store for us.

IRL
Things were hard for a few days. I don't know why the whole Dacre telling me not to contact me thing was hurting me so much, but they were. The first few days were the hardest, because everything was so fresh and I just spent a lot of time dwelling on it. Harry, whom I was meeting up with to make music with, was super nice and supportive through it. We'd never been super super close, but we were closeish and I think this whole thing just really sealed our friendship. He was there when I got the text message, and all I can say is that he was the biggest sweetheart I'd ever had the pleasure of meeting.
"You okay love?" he asked. I'd just looked up from my phone and I knew the look on my face was probably not the happiest.
"Yeah," I muttered, "We should get back to work." He gave me a hesitant look but nodded and we went back to writing. I couldn't fully focus though, and he could hell.
"I know you said you were okay, but I'm having a hard time believing that," he said.
"I'm just having issues with a... friend," I told him, "I mean, I thought things were going great .and they just told me not to contact them anymore."
"Just out of nowhere?" he questioned, earning a nod from me, "and they didn't give you a chance to talk about it or tell you what you did to make them say that?" I shook my head no. "Well, this person sounds like an absolute dick," he chuckled, "You've got no reason to feel bad about it if you didn't do anything." He offered me a small smile before pulling me into a loose hug.
"Would you mind if we just took today off?" I asked as we pulled away.
"Not if you let me take you out and help take your mind off of things," he said, "as friends of course." The little smirk on his face told me otherwise, but I wasn't in the position to say no to someone who was just trying to help me. Plus, maybe focusing on someone that wasn't Dacre would do me a little bit of good.
During our entire time in LA, we hung out almost every day either with Ellie or just the two of us. We got a lot of the songwriting done and we even got to start recording a few of the songs, we'd agreed on finishing when filming for Stranger Things ended and he finished up touring.
"So, you guys have been spending an awful lot of time together," Ellie after we'd gotten home from dinner with Harry and a few of his friends.
"He's a really cool guy," I smiled, "I've known him for forever and I'm glad we got the chance to get close and work together."
"And how are we feeling about the Dacre situation? You think you guys will talk when you get back to Atlanta in a few days?" she asked. I sighed as I plopped down on the couch.
"I don't know, I want to, but at the same time I don't," I told her, "I want to fix things because I really do like him and I care about both our professional and personal relationships, but I'm also just over everything. Should I really care about it all that much if he didn't care enough to tell me why he'd suddenly taken on that attitude with me?"
"I mean, everything you're saying is valid," she said, "I think you should feel things out when you see him and see if he wants to make an effort to fix things too because it can't just be you wanting to fix things all the time."
"Ugh, why can't things just feel easy and effortless like they do with Harry?" I asked.
"I don't know babe," she chuckled as she came and pulled me into a side hug, "But let me just say this, maybe things with Dacre aren't working out for a reason. It wouldn't be wrong of you to give yourself a chance with someone else if that's what feels right to you." I smiled and returned the hug. I couldn't help but thank the higher powers for blessing me with such an amazing best friend.
The following night, while I was hanging out with Harry after filming, Ellies words kept running through my brain, but for some reason it just felt wrong when I thought about doing anything with Harry. It made me feel like I was just using him, and I just, I couldn't do that to him.
The two of us were at mine and Ellie's apartment. Ellie had gone out on a date with the one and only Niall Horan. They'd hit it off as soon as Harry introduced the two of them on night when the three of us went out and Ellie kept complaining about not wanting to be a third wheel despite it not being a date. But that's besides the point, the point is the two of us were hanging out, half watching movies and half just laughing about the stupid comments we made about said movies. I don't remember exactly what he'd said, but I do remember it making me laugh harder than I had in a long while.
"Ava," he said, making my laughter trail off. I turned to face him with a big smile on my face. He started leaning in, and I froze in panic.
"Wait," I half yelled, as I pushed myself away.
"Did you not want to?" he asked, "I'm sorry I just thought-" I cut him off.
"I do, I really do," I told him, "but I just don't think I should. It'd feel too much like I'm using you," I paused, "because of the thing I told you with the guy from the show." I'd ended up explaining things to him not too long after the first time we'd talked.
"I don't feel used," he said, as he scoot closer to me, "but if it matters that much, you should probably know that I wouldn't mind being used by you." His face was right in front of mine. I could feel his warm breath on my face. "Say 'no' if you want me to stop," he whispered, but in that moment it was like all of my judgment had gone out of the window and I just let things happen. First we started kissing and then things just got a little more intense. I didn't regret letting it happen afterwards, but I did feel a little guilty just because I didn't know where things stood with Dacre.
Things weren't weird afterwards, which was a relief. When we talked about it the following morning, we decided we were just going to let whatever happened happen. I was surprised at how maturely we were both able to handle everything, but the guilt over Dacre was slowly getting bigger and bigger. It did go down a little every time I remembered what he'd said and that he probably didn't care, but it was still there.
