I'm awoken by a ding. Quiet.
"You're up!" Max swings his arms around me.
I take deep breaths, softly hugging him back.
"WE are landing soon." Isabelle tells me, clipping her seatbelt.
"How long was I out for?" I question, copying her actions.
"Half a day." Harvey tells me.
I throw my hair into a messy bun and wipe the tear stains from my cheeks.
Zoe and Alfie rush over to me once we land.
"You okay littlest one?" Alfie asks bending down to my height and hugging me.
Zoe hugs me as well and I hold her hand as we make our way out of the plane. We go through baggage claim and say our goodbyes. Some of them were quite emotional. I'm exhausted after that plane ride. Me passing out did not really give me any sort of energy. Thankfully we had the Range Rover. It was the middle of the day so there was no point of staying in London. Once we get to Brighton a few hours later, we head straight to Amanda and Nick's. One, Nala was there, two, Percy was there and three, my massive teddy from Max was there. Also, it has been a while since we had a catchup with them.
Nick lets us in, directing us straight to the assortment of food.
"Haven't had a good meal in like a day!" I state sitting down.
"Help yourself. I made loads." Amanda grins.
We dig in to the lovely food, filling ourselves up. I then make my way to the front room as the adults take outside.
Nala cuddles up on my lap as old re#runs of Wizards of Waverly place starts.
Its been about an hour and Zoe and Alfie decide its time for us to head back. I put nala in her harness and Percy in his cage.
Once we arrive home I throw myself onto the couch.
"So soft." I sigh happily.
"Well someone is happy to be home." Alfie vlogs me.
"Sleep." I groan.
"I'm sorry hun. But you don't want jetlag." Zoe shakes her head.
"Well at this rate, I wouldn't mind."I shrug.
"Me neither." Alfie agrees.
"That bed is calling my name." Zoe groans.
"Just a powernap?" I ask.
"Fine." Zoe agrees.
We head upstairs and I change into warm pjs. I turn off my light and close my curtains. I make sure every door is closed and I fall into a blissful sleep.
"Evie. Evie Evelyn. Evelyn." Zoë repeats waking me up.
"What time is it?" I groan.
Ten past seven. The next morning." She says.
"What a nap!" I laugh.
"You have dance school today." She reminds me.
"Ughhhh." I groan.
"Don't worry, they should go easy." She chuckled.
She leaves and I get up and go to my bathroom. I take a shower and change into this.
I check my time-table and see what I have.
I pack what I need and make my way downstairs.
"Morning love." Alfie smiles.
"Morning Alf." I chirp.
Zoe places a bowl of fruit and yogurt on the table.
"Pop up here." She pats the stool.
"Are you checking out the office?" I ask.
"Yep! I'm actually so excited." Zoe claps her hands.
I finish my food and run back upstairs.
I tie my hair up and moisturise. After I throw my bag on my shoulder and run downstairs.
"Alf is dropping you today." Zoe tells me.
"See you later." I kiss Zoe's cheek.
"Twelve today. Isnt it?" She asks.
"Quarter past." I shake my head.
"Twelve is a Right?" She asks.
"Yep!" I say.
I run to catch up with Alfie.
We drive to dance in silence. Jk. When does that ever happen when him and I are alone. We spent the car ride screaming out lyrics to songs.
"Off you go my child." Alfie waves.
"Goodbye." I hold my heart.
"Oi. Ye absolute weirdo." Seb calls from the door.
"Look who can talk." I turn around.
"Oh shh. I've got some gossip to tell you." He raises his eyebrows.
"Well then inform me my kind sir." I loop my arm through his.
"Well if you insist Lady Evelyn." He smiles in a posh voice.
"New girl. Cheryl Noelles. Not the nicest." He tells me.
I take out my lanyard with my student Id on it and show it to reception.
(The black one.)
"She is in our year. Think shes better tan everyone?" He rolls his eyes.
"Friends?" I ask.
"Our Grace." He holds his heart.
"What she just left. Like that?" I ask.
"Pretty much." He shrugs. "She even unfollowed us on social media." He groans.
"Just be ready for the fan pages." I say.
We get to the locker room.
"What we got first?" I ask.
"Jazz." He says.
"I'll be back in two." I tell him.
I run in and take off my jacket. I change my shoes. I put my bag in my locker and grab my laptop and water.
I see Grace walk in with a girl.
"Hi Grace." I wave.
"Who is that?" The girl, I think is called Cheryl.
(Riverdale anyone?)
"That is Evelyn Deyes." Grace tells her.
"Cheryl. Right." I smile.
Cheryl rolls her eyes.
I just walk out. Seb also has his laptop.
"Lets bounce." He smirks.
"Still doing that?" I raise my eyebrows.
"Never stopped." He laughs.
We go to the hang out/school room.
I sit myself on one of the window seats. Down below was the busy Brighton streets.
I finish half of my work before Seb and I put our stuff back and head to class.
We arrive at class ten minutes early so Greta, our jazz teacher lets us in.
"Since you are both early. Im gonna get you two to show our dance.
She shows us the part she wants us to learn and for the next ten minutes we go over it. After that the class piles in. Cheryl scoffs when she sees Seb and I on the stage.
"Hey! Why are they on the stage?" Cheryl asks Greta pointing to us.
"They decided to actually show up early. Now. Anymore questions?" Greta asks.
"Yes. I don't see why she can be up there. She's been here one day." Cheryl says.
Seb just face Palms while I let out a chuckle.
"Evelyn here has been here around. How many years?" She asks me.
"Two and a half? I think?"I shrug.
"Now. Are you done?" Greta asks.
"No!" She exclaims.
I decide to start stretching while they talk.
"Why did she only come back today?" She asks.
"She had somewhere to be." Greta says.
"Did she facetime for classes?" Cheryl asks.
"No." Greta replies.
"Why?" Cheryl smirks.
"I was in a completely different time zone." I roll my eyes.
"I want a dance off. Because i deserve to be up there!" She exclaims.
"Alright." Greta shrugs.
"Evie. A song." Geta says.
"Bruises Lewis Capaldi Delta Jack remix." I smirk.
"Okay. Improv dance off. Both dance at the same time." Greta says.
She starts the music and I start on the floor. We dance and the moves just come to head. When I look over, Cheryl is always pausing between moves. Once the song finishes, Seb hands me my drink.
"HANDS UP FOR EVIE!" Greta shouts and most of the class holds up their hands.
"Winner." She points to me.
"NOW START STRETCHING!" She shouts.
Well it's been a while. I've been going through some really tough times so don't expect frequent updates. I just don't really have the energy. I have good days but I also have extremely bad days. Sorry for being such a crap updater. Who's expecting a proposal on this New York trip though? Sorry for the late update. It's 1:26 so I haven't edited it. Also HAPPY BIRTHDAY ZOË!
