Do you think Bilbo's riddle to Gollum was fair?:
I do not think that Bilbo's last riddle or rather question was not very fair, but indeed very necessary.
Let me just mention... that even if Gollum lost he would have killed Bilbo. when Bilbo says "Alright I've won, show me the way out, " Gollum says "Have we lost precious?" and then immediately reaches for his ring... But it's not there.
If the ring were still in Gollum's pocket then he would have put it one, turned invisible, and then murdered poor Bilbo Baggins. Now yes Bilbo did cheat in the game of riddles, but to be fair Gollum kind of cheated too... so it all balances out on the fairness scale.
I AM NOT SAYING THAT LYING IS OKAY, I JUST MEAN WE CANT GET MAD AT BILBO FOR CHEATING WHEN GOLLUM CHEATED TOO!!!!!!!!!!!
