A month later.......
*Maya's POV*
As the day for me and Chris' wedding got closer and closer, I got more excited. Me, Chris, and Alyssa have been working so hard to plan our dream wedding. Well shit, my dream wedding. I don't think Chris is too much worried about the wedding, but making us official.
Husband and wife.
The wedding was two days from now. It's sucks that I don't have much family that'll come to my wedding.
My mom, jail.
My sister, jail.
My "best friend", hates me and vice fucking versa.

The only people that are in my life on a daily are Chris, Mama Hawkins, my grandmother, and Royalty. And they were for a fact coming to our wedding.
Speaking of her, I made my way to Mama Hawkins' house right now. Me and her have been getting closer for the past couple of months. She really acts more of a mother to me than my mother ever did. When I have my child, I'm going to always support them and encourage them to be who they want to be. I'll never abandoned them the way my mother did to me.
As I pulled in, I quickly washed the negative thoughts about my family out of my head. I grabbed my brown and gold MK tote, and made my way to Mama Hawkins' front door. It didn't take long at all for her to open the door after I knocked.
"Hey baby!" she said as she gave me a warm hug and kiss on the forehead.
"Hey mama." I said, smiling ear to ear. I was so thankful to not only have Chris and Royalty in my life, but Mama Hawkins' too.
"You look so beautiful Maya! Look at you. You're glowing and growing." she said as she lightly touched my stomach.
I was now 16 weeks pregnant, and I couldn't be anymore happier than what I am now. I wasn't too big to where it looked like I was about to pop any minute, but anyone with eyes could tell that I was pregnant. I just know that I'm going to be a great mother to this child.
"Thank you ma. Can I come in, please?" I smiled at her and asked. Without saying another word, Mama Hawkins stepped out the way to let me in her house. I took a deep inhale as a pleasing scent hit me when I walked in. It always smelled good in her house.
"So what's up baby?" Mama Hawkins asked me.
I looked down, and dug into my bag real quick. After a couple of seconds, I pulled out an envelope and handed it to Mama Hawkins.
"What's that?" she asked me.
"That is the gender of me and Chris' baby. At the wedding we want to do a gender reveal, so you're the only one that is going to know." I tried to explain to her.
"Exciting!" she said as she clapped.
I shook my head, and smiled. Don't get me wrong this was definitely something to be all jumpy over, but I don't want anything to go wrong. I feel like everyone wants my position or they want to see me fail or down. I'm not with that shit at all. Things have been going real smooth with the wedding planning, my pregnancy, and me and Chris' careers. I just want it to stay that way. I don't need no drama or bullshit by coming my way, especially with this baby.
"Maya!" Mama Hawkins call out to me, instantly snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Yes mama." I answered.
*Mama Hawkins POV*
Now I know that something is up with Maya. After she handed me the envelope, I opened it and gasp. It's a... I looked at Maya, and my attention geared towards her. She had an unreadable facial expression on her face. I couldn't tell if she was happy, upset, or sad. If I was her, I'd be jumping off the walls right about now. She has so many things going, how could she not be happy.
"Maya........Maya........." I called out as she seemed to zoning out more and more.
No answer.
"Maya!" I semi-yelled as she slightly jumped up and was pulled from the daze she was in.
"Yes mama." she answered as she focused on me.
"Are you not excited? You are blessed, so what's the matter?" I asked as I tried to read her. I still couldn't.
"Ma... I'm past excited. I just can't seem to bring myself to show it. It's so many positive things happening, but at the same time I have a bad gut feeling that won't leave." Maya said as tears fell down her cheeks, and she started sniffing.
I had no idea why she was crying, but none of that was going to happen. "Maya... You have this beautiful soul inside you, Chris, this wedding, and more. You don't realize how blessed you are? You have what almost every female wants. You have love, support, and you are successful." I tried to explain to her. I felt like Maya was being ungrateful right now, but I didn't bother to say it or how I really felt. I love her like my own, and the last thing I want to do was add anymore stress to her. It's not good for the baby. That's probably why she's emotional now, that baby.
"I'm beyond grateful. Ever since I've been with Chris, and even before then people have been coming for my head. It's sad, because it's the people I thought were closest to me. My mother, my sister, my friends. Why do you think I don't have many guests coming to our wedding? It's terrible."
"Listen, you can't focus so much on the negative things that are happening. Not even happening. These are things that happened in the past. Don't let it affect you as much." I said to her.
"You're right ma." Maya said smiling as she starting to shake her head.
*Maya's POV*
I let all the negative things so as she spoke some more sense into me. I need to chill the hell out. Lately, I've been on edge about every little thing.
Maybe I need some dick, I thought to myself.
"You're right ma." I said.
"I know it. Now, back to the gender of the baby....." Maya said excitedly.
I couldn't help, but to smile. Not only was the wedding getting closer, but so was me popping my baby boy or baby girl out. I couldn't wait. The last thing I should be doing is stressing. It ain't good for my baby.
"I am excited, but the plan isn't to find out until the wedding."
"You want balloons, confetti, or cupcakes to reveal the gender." Mama Hawkins asked me. I could tell that she was genuinely happy for me and her son.
"Balloons and cupcakes." I said to her.
Basically all of the planning for this wedding was done already. That's why, this Friday it was happening. I couldn't be more excited...
*Chris POV*
I was on my way to my baby ma's house to drop Royalty off. It was a peaceful ride. I flipped radio stations, because wasn't no good shit on. The beat to that The Weeknd song came on, and Royalty screamed, "Don't change it!" First of all, how the hell do my three year old know this...

When I tell you that this fast lil... this lil girl knew all the lyrics and sang along like it was nothing. I cut the music off with no hesitation.
"Dadddddyyyyy!" Royalty screamed as she kicked the back of my seat.
"Don't make me come back there and fuck you up." I mumbled more to myself than to her.
It didn't take long before we finally made it to Nia's crib. She was already waiting outside for Royalty when I pulled into her driveway. Royalty unbuckled herself, opened the door, and hopped out the car. I knew she still was mad about me turning the song off.
Ask me if I give a damn. Oh ok.
"What's wrong with her?" Nia looked at me and asked as Royalty ran inside the house.
I went in the backpack and grabbed her bags, and handed them to Nia. "She's being a baby that's all." I said as I shrugged my shoulders. I needed to stop spoiling her, and that is what I was going to do.
"She is a baby." Nia said as she started laughing.
"Babies don't know the damn lyrics to The Weeknd." I said to her as I rolled my eyes.
Nia started smiling, and looked away. "Guilty." she said under her breath.
"Let me find out you a side bitch in training." I said joking with her. She joined me as she started dying laughing as well.
"Boy, don't play with me." she said as she punched my arm.
I picked her ass up, and acted like I was gone drop her. Soon, we started to play fight. Then I looked the other way, and she pushed me on the ground hard as fuck.
As a reflex, I grabbed her and brought her ass right down with me. We started laughing so hard, we didn't even notice that she was on top of me.
"Woah..." she said as her light cheeks became red.
She started to blush, and look away. I don't know what the fuck came over me, but my d*ck started to get hard underneath her. I just froze. I wanted her to get off me, but I couldn't bring myself to tell her to or move her.
I was brought out my thoughts when I seen her leaning towards me with her lips puckered. "Oh noooooo." I said as I quickly hopped up.
"Fuck! I'm so sorry Chris!" Nia said as she hopped up with me. I knew she wasn't no home wrecker type chick, but she was buggin' if she thought I was about to cheat on Maya, my fiancé, with her ass.
"You good shawty." I said nonchalantly as I got in the car. I sighed, and started to pull out her driveway.
All that shit really made me think about my baby. I knew she was at my mom's house, so I made my way there, so I could see my two ladies.
