alexis mcgee & desmond butler were clearly different from one another and that's why they always clashed.
the mcgee family moved from the south, louisiana, to be specific to new york, obviously because of mrs.mcgee's promotion. since, the mcgee's moved to new york when alexis was only seven, she grew into new york. she picked up a couple of slangs and fighting skills. her first fight, was actually her current best friend, queen bulls.
it all started, when queen wanted to go chill at one of her la' dips place but she didn't want to go alone.
queen begged and made compromises with alexis until she gave up. she couldn't stand anymore of queen's annoying whines and pleads. they girls had gotten dressed and snuck out of alexis's house, because it was friday and queen always slept over on the weekends, she was apart of the family. alexis really didn't want to go, she didn't want to hear queen getting her guts rearranged when she couldn't.
with queen's driving, and they fact that alexis didn't know how to drive, they arrived an hour earlier.
"wait, queen?" alexis called, they were parked in front of a nice two story home, but music was blasting and people were everywhere. "hmm?" queen turned, as she made sure the lipgloss was spreaded everywhere on her lips. "you said, just your la dip and his friend. this is more than that!" "chill, lex. we going upstairs, forget the party. come on." "forgot the party my ass." alexis mumbled, she could already smelled the must and sex coming from inside as they walked closer.
weed was also laced into the air, alexis sighed and followed her friend, the hallway was short, and when they had gotten to the last door on the right, queen paused and turned to her best friend, "imma chill with aaron, desmond inna room across." without giving her friend a chance to talk, queen entered the room and made sure to lock the door. alexis huffed and balled her fist.
she didn't hate desmond but she didn't necessarily like him either.
desmond and aaron were juniors at the time, but aaron was the last child of "king" a druglord that is serving a life sentence from his crimes, and desmond was aaron's right and left hand man since birth. alexis heard things about the two and she didn't know why queen would associate herself with the likes of them.
she walked into the room anyway, and she was smacked in the face with the smell of weed .. loud weed.
alexis grimaced and stared at desmond, who was laying in the king sized bed. one hand held the blunt and the other was inside of his shorts. he looked sexy, but she'd refuse to tell him to his face. she walked over to the bed and sat down, "hello." she spoke. he didn't respond, he just looked her up and down and held out the blunt, "i don't smoke." she refused, pushing his hand softly away.
"mhm, try it. we gon' be here for a while."
