"You look so pretty boo boo" i said, as Lay spun around showing me her dress she was wearing tonight. Lani and I were full time parents, so valentines day didn't let us off the hook. I didn't really mind it though, i figured we'd have an aight time even with the kids.
"I picked this out all by myself" she said, smiling.
"Okay big girl, i see you" i said, as she climbed up on the bed with Kai, who was sleeping. "Don't wake her up yet" I said, and she nodded her head. I walked out the room, and down the hall to where Lani's closet and makeup area was. "You know reservations at 8 right?"
"I know, I'm almost done" she said, getting up from the chair, still in her bra and panties.
"You don't look almost done, you in here playing" i said, leaning in the doorway.
She rolled her eyes, "G, Im alomst done, now get out"
"15 minutes" i said, pointing at her, before turning to leave. I walked down a few more doors, to see if at least Rell was dressed. I knocked twice at his door, before going in, "Yo, you dressed' i semi yelled through the room.
"Do i really have to go" he asked, coming from in the bathroom, wearing a sweatsuit.
"You know why you have to come, why you got on a sweatsuit dirtball"
"Man, I ain't tryna be sitting around y'all love birds, especially not when Breah not here yet" he said, plopping down onto the bed.
"I thought you said, she was gonna be here by 9 and meet us there"
"Dumbass flight got delayed"
I chuckled, "You mad huh" i said, and he looked over at me obviously pissed. "I don't know why you didn't just let me send her my PJ, that would've made more sense"
"Her parents, wanted to keep track of everything she's doing, so they made her give receipts for the flights. So she had to do it there way or she wouldn't have been able to come" he said.
"Sound like y'all being sneaky, don't have that girl staying at my crib and her parents don't know man" i said, shaking my head.
"Nah they know she coming to see me"
"Butttttt do they know she staying here?" i asked.
"Wellllll, kinda she told them she was staying with a friend" he said, shrugging his shoulders.
I shook my head, "I don't trust it, when she get here, you gone have to either let Lani call her parents, or get her a hotel room"
"You so paranoid G" he said, laughing.
"It ain't about being paranoid, it's about being cautious" I said, tapping my brain. "Plus, i know i'd be ready to kill somebody if i knew my daughter was flying to stay at some nigga crib"
"I hear you" he said, flopping back onto the bed.
"Nigga lets go, put some shoes on" i said, before turning to walk back into the bedroom, when Lani was, now fully dressed. "Those pants look good" I said, walking up behind her.
"They do, don't they" she said, turning towards the mirror. "Is Rell ready?"
"Nigga got on a sweatsuit" i said shaking my head.
"What why?"
"He in his fellings cause his lil shawty flight got delayed"
"Aww boo boo" she said, turning around so I could, snap her necklace. "He really wanted her t come to dinner huh"
"I guess, she'll probably be here no later that the morning though, hell be aight"
"You so insensitive" she said, walking over to pick Kai up. I looked over at Lay who had fell alseep watching something on my phone. I swear i don't know how she always figure out my password. "You know lil G is coming over tomorrow right?"
"You know papers are in the works as we speak right?" i said.
"G don't be like that, those first papers came back and said what they said.. He needs his dad"
"Im not his dad tho mama, y'all not gone believe me till these papers come back huh?"
"I never said i didn't believe you, i'm just saying it said what it said on the papers, so i plan to act accordingly, until otherwise and you should do the same" She said.
"Did you call Ash?" I asked, changing the subject. Since she was the only one here, because she lived here now I told Lani to invite her dinner with us.
"Yeah, but she said she was tired and didn't wanna come out" she said. "I think she must got a new boo, and tryna be low, imma pull up on her tomorrow tho"
"My boy Artist be tryna come at her all the time" i said, laughing.
"He got a whole girlfriend and a baby.. he need to stop and you need to stop encouraging it" she said, walking pass me carrying Kai.
"If that man wanna fuck up his situation, what that gotta do with me" i said, walking over picking Lay up, laying her on my shoulder.
"Niggas never tryna encourage their friend to do the right thing" said laughing, as we walked down the steps, seeing Rell sitting on the couch on Facetime.
"You got the baby bag?" she asked me.
"In the car already"
"Look at you" she said, smiling back at me before walking out the door. "What we driving?"
I gave her a face, she already knew what we were driving, since it was all of us "Q7, you knew that tho" i said, grabbing the keys.

We were already about 50 minutes into dinner, and this overrated ass restaurant had nasty ass food. Which exactly why i stick to my hood shit, I always try to switch it up for special occasions, but we would've gotten better food from Friday's. This menu had a bunch of shit, nobody knew what it was, i guess we were too ghetto for this bs.
Niggas order chicken fingers and fries at a 5 star restaurant, which is hilarious. Of course Milan figured out what entree included salmon, i swear she loved that shit. It was okay, but she eat that shit way too much.
"Babe, pass me her cup" Milan asked.
"Sit her down boo, you been holding her the whole time"
"She's sleepy, so she's acting cranky" she said rocking her as i handed her the sippy cup.
"Eat your food" i said taking Kai from her. "You spoiled as hell lil girl" i said kissing Kai's cheek.
"Lay is your chicken good?" Lani asked, and Lay nodded her head, she was too busy into whatever youtube video she was watching. Rell wasn't any better, he stayed on Facetime the entire time.
"I told you we should left they asses home" i said to Lani.
She chuckled, "Leave them alone, they not bothering you"
"Nah they not and that's weird cause that's what they do any other time, bother me"
The waitress came walking over to the table, "Are you ready for the dessert Mr. Jordan?"
"Umm" I said, looking around the table seeing everybody except Lani was basically done their food. "Yeah you can bring it out"
"Okay" she said, cutting her eyes at me before smiling.
"You ordered dessert? When ?" Lani asked.
"When i called" i said, standing up. "I'll be back" I said, sitting Kai in the highchair, before walking off.
I walked into the bathroom, and looked in the mirror and dialed Troy's number. I ran my hand down my face, before walking back out into the restaurant, seeing the waitress and a few other bringing the cake out. I saw Troy and Chy's face appear on the phone, and they both gave me a look.
I handed the phone to Rell, and the waiters reached our table with the cake, sitting it down. I watched as Lani read what it said, and i bent down on one knee, waiting for her turn around.
"Omg G???" she said, spinning around in her seat, seeing me on one knee. "Are you serious?" she said, looking around the room, like it was a prank.
I chuckled, "I'm serious boo" I said. "Look, I love you more than life itself, you accept me and all the baggage that comes with me. When I told you Rell and Lay would be with us, you never questioned it, you were automatically there for them, even when I couldn't be. You were there for me even when I had your world upside down. You gave me my baby girl, and for that I will always love you for. I don't wanna be with nobody else but you, forever mama... Will you marry me ?" I saw tears rolling down her face, and by now the entire restaurant was tuned in and waiting for her answer.
"Omg omg" she said, as more tears fell.
I chuckled, nervously, "Mama, you gotta give me an answer"
"Yes Gionni" she said, laughing through the tears. I slid the ring on her finger and stood up, pulling her closer, as the people in the restaurant clapped. "Is this forreal, like I can't believe this right now"
"It's forreal boo" I said, laughing. "Look" i said, pointing at the phones that Rell and Lay had. I had got Lay in with the plan earlier, and her job was to make sure she called my mom when she saw the people bringing out the cake, and Rell's was to have Troy and Chy on the phone. Ashley was supposed to be here, so we hadn't figured out any last minute plans to call her, and we didn't wanna discuss it around Lani.
"You always surprising me" she said, kissing my lips.
"This shit was hard as hell to keep from you, you kept looking in the drawer i had it in" I said laughing.
"I should've known something was up, you were acting so weird about that damn drawer"
"You like it?" i asked.
She chuckled "I love this, it's weighing my finger down but i like it"
"You got a lot of money on your finger right now girl" I said, kissing her fore head.
"I don't even wanna know" she said laughing. "Gionni i cannot believe this, I love you so much" she said hugging me tight as hell.
"I love you too Mama"
"Kai look at mommy ring" she said, walking over to the table. "Lay you were in on this and you didn't tell me"
Lay chuckled, "It was a swecret La La"
"How much he pay you?" Lani said laughing.
Lay put her hand up to her mouth to whisper, "$200"
"You balling Lay, lemme hold something" Rell said laughing.
"You heard that" she said, putting her hand on her fore head.
"We all heard that, snitch" I said making everybody laugh.
