Everything will be fine quote won't work Raheel....I said in a low whisper
Have you seen your father and his glares that was meant for you....
Told you Raheel I told you the very day this is not the right decision never was....But you---- Sssssssshhhhhh!!! Not again I am done with it...You know right! Never again and I mean it! We are not having this conversation again jaan...His eyes darkened with each word he spoke a slight fear in my heart crawled up
Now come let's go he said normally as if nothing happened...
As he was about to get out of the car I hold his wrist he looked at me raising his eyebrow at me....
You didn't flinch even for once...Why? I asked Raheel
What are you talking about jaan?
You know what I am talking about....Drop the act I said to him while sliding up my veil/nose piece
You are not nervous?
You are not scared either....You are not angry, upset or pissed...Why is that so?
You should be freaking out shouldn't you?
Why in the hell are you so calm?
WHY?
There is nothing to freak out Afreen I said in my deep voice
You know what I am done! I said to him annoyed by his behavior.....I then quickly got rid of my niqaab ignoring him.....
As I was about to move he pulled me by my waist causing me to gasp.....I got rid of his hold and in no time I was out of car with annoyance fuming all over me....I was deep in thoughts when he got a hold on my waist
Besharam (shameless) I said out of frustration

Behave Raheel
Mrs. Afreen Raheel Ibrahim kya apko iss baat ka aitraaf hai ki ap meri nikkah main hai...
Translation: You should acknowledge the fact that you are married to me Mrs.Afreen Raheel Ibrahim
Shukriya apka apne bata diya I almost screamed and elbowed him with my elbow...
Translation: Thanks to you that you made me aware
Afreen: Do you even know how I am feeling right now?
I feel like I am a prisoner who is going to judged anyway today I said and a lone tear escaped my eye.I wiped it away quickly
Raheel: I am here to protect you jaan he said softly yet seriousness lacing in his voice he cupped my cheeks and kissed my forehead...
Our little moment was ruined when my cell phone started ringing I didn't felt the need to see it because I already knew who it is...
"Imraan"
I undid my coat's button as we stepped into the living room
Afreen: We were welcomed with silence....A type of silence which was scaring the hell out of me...But nevertheless I maintained my silence....
As we made our way to the living room I saw Raheel's father pacing around the room with a red face which may explode anytime....
Fidgeting my fingers I eyed Raheel and there he was in his calmest composure ever....

As we stepped down on the marble steps that was it! His father turned around and looked at us
Raheel : We aren't late right?
He got rid of his coat and gave it me....
Has he gone crazy? I thought to myself

As I stood in front of baba (dad) and the next thing I knew that was coming for me was....
SLAP !
I stumbled a bit from the impact....
I looked up and another slap landed on my left cheek.... Blood ozzed out of my lips...I looked at Afreen and there she was standing with pool of tears in her eyes
I wiped the blood away with my hand and let out a small laugh on seeing my own blood rubbed in my hands
"Saba meri biwi ko bedroom main leke jaye nahi toh behosh ho jayegi"I said in my deep voice
Translation: Saba please take my wife to my room or else she might faint here
A: As Saba approached me I nodded my head in "No" Left with no choice she stood beside me with her hands embraced with mine....
S: Tum aise toh nahi thay Raheel
Translation: You are not the Raheel I know
It only made me smile more....
S: Kya kar diya hai iss larki ne tumhe? Baba said with anger lacing in his voice
Translation: What has this girl done to you?
R: Ap jiske baare main baat kar rahe hai biwi hai woh meri....I said baba (dad) with seriousness in my voice
Translation: The one you are talking about is my wife
S: Ek employee hai woh humari company main baba said with a stren voice
Translation: She is an employee in our company
R: Employee thi....Par ab meri biwi hai
Translation: She was an employee...But now she is my wife
S: Kya apne baba se itni hi mohabbat ki thi ki yeh nikkah karte waqt tumhe mera khayal bhi nahi aaya apne parivaar ka khayal nahi aaya...
Translation: Did you loved you Dad only to an extent where you didn't cared to let us know about your marriage to us! Your family
R: Aisa maat bole baba main apko takleef dene ke baare main soch bhi nahi sakta I said to Baba touching his hand
Translation: Please don't say that dad I can't even think of hurting you
S: Takleef tum de chuke ho Raheel
Translation: I am already hurt because of you Raheel
A: As Raheel's baba jerked away his hand from Raheel's touch....I couldn't see anything but only him....Tears tricked down his eyes making my heart clench
R: Baba itne saal baad maine apne dil ki sunni kya itni badi saza denge ap mujhe iss baat ki
Translation: Dad after years I listened what to my heart said....Are you going to punish me this big for what I did
Baba looked at me with a hint of emotion in his eyes....
R: Bohut kosish ki maine ki main apko baata doon par nahi bata paya
Translation : I really tried to tell you but I couldn't
S: Tumne aaj mera bharosa thordh diya Raheel hurt evident in his voice
Translation: You broke my trust today Raheel
R: Baba main Afreen se bohut mohabbat karta hu itna ki woh khud bhi nahi jaanti....
Translation: Dad I love Afreen I really do love her to a point where even she is not aware of it....
I could hear only one word coming from his mouth "baba" I couldn't do anything as I was surrounded with darkness and I knew I had no control over me....I knew I was going to faint....My grip on Saba's hand loosened and darkness engulfed me
Saba POV :
I felt Afreen loosing her grip on my hand so I just whipped my face to her direction to see her....
Afreeeeen I screamed and even before she could touch touch the floor she landed in her husband's arms
Raheel Bhai lifted her in his arms and carried her upstairs to his room while Imraan was on the phone calling the doctor
Her tear stained face was visible to everyone..
Doctor is on the way Imraan's voice boomed into the room
As the doctor arrived he was shocked on seeing Raheel's Bhai condition
I don't need any treatment Doctor the one who needs it is right in front of you Raheel Bhai said eying Afreen....

How did she get injured? The doctor asked with a frown on his face
Rash driving Imraan said in a small whisper loud enough to be heard
Kids these days take life as a joke he said while examining Afreen....
I already told you guys she can't handle emotional stress. Her body reacts in a different way...
This is the second time she fainted Raheel you need to take good care of her the doctor said well let's just rephrase it he scolded Raheel while injecting her with an injection on her left arm
Second time? Baba said with a frown on his face
Yes second time the doctor said
The first time she fainted due to emotional stress was on her wedding day
How do you know about it doctor? Baba asked
Because I was the one who treated the patient in this house...
Baba's eyes widened but didn't say a word only responded it with a hmmmm.....
Khuda khair yaar! (For God sake man) Imraan said while pinching the bridge of his nose
Let the patient rest the doctor said and left the room with Imraan walking beside him to see him off
R: As everyone left the room I was alone with jaan...Her nose was pink due to crying it made me doleful to see her like this.... I holded her right hand in a soft until someone knocked on the door...
Come in !
Uncle Shafiq is calling you downstairs Imraan said while rubbing his forehead
I only hummed in response
Placing a light kiss on her forehead I walked out of the room alongside Imraan
Raheel everything will be fine Imraan said to me ending it with a brotherly hug
"I know everything will be fine Inshallah"
Dard ho Raha Hai?
Translation : Is it paining?
Imraan asked me about my now slightly bruised lips
R: Nahi (No)
I: I lightly touched his bruised lips and he winced...Pata tha mujhe kaminey tu jhoot bol raha hai (I knew it moron you were lying)
Come let's go I said to Imraan
As we went downstairs we sat on the sofa facing each other.......
S: Kya tumhara aur Afreen ka nikkah issi Ghar main hua tha? Baba asked
Translation: You and Afreen got married in this house isn't it?
R: Haa (yes)
S: Kya yeh nikkah uski marzi se hua tha?
Translation:Was she ready for the marriage?
R: After taking a long deep breath I touched my hair due to nervousness....No I kidnapped her
S: Tumne usse zabardasti nikkah kar liya KYU?(You married her forcefully WHY?) Baba stood and screamed at me with anger, disbelief, shock....doleful eyes screaming many emotions
I rubbed my face with hands and stood up
I had no option left Baba (dad)
Baba looked away clearly disheartened
Where did I go wrong Raheel? Baba asked me in a whisper loud enough to hear
Does she even loves you?
I stayed mum for the fact that I really don't know what to say? I know she loves me but something is stoping me....I thought to myself until Saba interrupted and her confession itself made me smile....
Afreen loves Raheel it's just that she is not ready to accept her voice slowed down as she finished her sentence and looked nervous
I passed her a small smile to ease out her tension....
R: She was going to get married to I took a deep breath and continued Adil.... Adil Faizan I clenched my jaw as I said his name with hatered visible in my voice
The person she knows nothing about.....
S: Adil as in the corrupt politician?
After a long pause baba asked me something which I knew he would ask....
Is he in jail because of you?
I hummed in response with a smile on my face....

As this chapter was pretty long I decided the next chapter to be the flashback part
