The previous two weeks were very tiring, me, Rachel and Emma finally had our sleepover. My father has been ringing my phone alllllll day, twenty four seven. Well I don't blame the old man, I hadn't seen my dad since it first rained.
On September.
Two months ago.
Okay now I feel guilty. So currently I was in the mall with Rachel. Shopping for my dad. Umm... shopping groceries.
Me and Rachel bought the necessities for dad. And we sat in the café of the mall, chatting.
"You know, that bi-" Rachel said angrily, but she quickly changed the last word she was about to say " -iiieautiful girl, won't just leave me alone. Why the he- I mean why on earth she doesn't leave me alone? It's not like I have actually cheated on the exam!"
Rachel took a big bite of her burger and continued, " She hates me." she was eating her burger angrily as if it's the poor burger's fault that she has failed in her exam. She was talking about her monster of a classmate, Rachel always thought that girl hates her.
Rachel was studying biochemistry at college, she was just like Emma, not in love with her major. I just can't understand why these two girls have chosen colleges they can't handle. Sometimes she begs me to do her reports and calculations, and I do it for her because well she's my best friend. But other times when I'm too busy she shows me reports done by none other than her brother, Nathan.
Her natural hair color is chocolate brown, but each month she changes her hair color a different color.
Last month it was blonde, then she dyed it purple, after one week of dying her hair purple, she got bored of purple so it was red. She was putting her hands in her hair now and then, looking at a strand of her hair just so I can see it and tell her she's beautiful.
Can you believe it?
So yeah she's the crazy one in our group. Unlike me and Emma. She was wild, creative, adventurous, and she just had any other wild personalities you can think of. She has wavy hair, not like my straight hair or Emma's curly hair. Rachel is wild yeah, but I haven't met anyone who is as kind hearted as her. She'll pull out her heart for you if you ask her to. Emma was kind hearted too but not as Rachel. Rachel was always full of surprises, and she was very different from even Nathan. She had her own kind of personality.
"Are you sure you didn't just write anything on your hand when you were studying?" I asked her, because honestly no matter how much I love her, I have to admit she was the cheating type, so unlike her brother. Rachel mumbled 'no' without making eye contact with me, and I got my answer. So I just chuckled as her cheeks got pink.
"You know... I think I'll probably end up dying single." she mumbled and put her head on the table with a bang.
Rachel is very pretty I didn't know why she was saying this. Probably because she was reminded of her ex-boyfriend. Her last relationship ended in a disaster. But Rachel was very strong, she's so strong that sometimes I'm so jealous of her.
Unlike me.
I am not strong at all.
"Not true Rachel, you're going to attract the best guy ever!" I said, and smiled at her.
It only took that sentence for her to grin like the idiot she was, Rachel was very moody. And her feelings changed very quickly. She opened her mouth to say something but was interrupted by her phone's sound. She frowned as she stared at her phone screen and frowned even more when she began staring at God knows what in her phone. By the way her eyes were moving, it looked like she was reading something.
"What is it?" I asked. She shrugged and continued reading.
"It's Dave, he has written my report." she replied and locked her phone. Well that's weird, maybe poor Nathan didn't have time.
"If you've finished eating, let's go visit Mr. King." Rachel stated and stood up excitedly, she linked her arm with me singing all way out of the mall. Making a few heads turn in our direction.
Then Rachel drove us to my old house.
