Chapter 43-The Accident!!
**Aubree's POV**
I opened my mouth and closed it again. I don't know what to say.
I didn't realise my tears were falling until I felt a hand on my face. "This is not what it seems, short-" I jerked his hands away slapping him hard in his face.
"How could you do this to me, Nolan?" I screamed.
"Aubree, you are getting this-" She started. "Don't make me hit you too Stella." I glared at her, halting her steps.
"What have I ever done to you? Why can't you just fucking leave me alone? You took away my mother, Nixon, and every single person I ever loved." I yell. "Even then I have never said you anything. Every time, every fucking time you do this to me, you ruin something that is so special to me. Why don't you just stay away from my life?" I sobbed.
"Calm down, Bree." Bryan coaxed.
"How can I Bryan? Don't you see this? Now tell me your friend is right. Tell me he wouldn't fucking cheat on me. Tell me he wouldn't even think of hurting me. Because I'm sure he did everything. He freaking did everything you said he wouldn't." Bryan was silent as well as everyone else.
"Listen to us for once, Aubree." Stella came towards me teary eyed. Just freaking wow!
"Why are you crying, Stella? You should you be happy right? You've always wanted this." She shakes her head. "Sure you did. You've always wanted to hurt me, to see me cry, t-to see me broken." I clapped my hands. "Congratulation, you did a fantastic job. I'm hurt now, it fucking hurts so much." I looked at Nolan who was silent throughout my little breakdown. He looked at me with pleading eyes.
I cannot look at him without hurting myself so I turned around and ran away from there. I heard Bryan and Nolan call my name but I didn't stop. I lean back on the wall of the lift, breaking into sobs.
Why does it always happens to me?
I want all this to end. I can't bear this anymore. I don't want to feel this pain anymore. It hurts. It hurts so fucking much! I want to scream so loud, but I couldn't.
"Shortcake! Please stop!" I heard Nolan behind me. I ignore him and run out of the hotel. People were watching but I don't care. I don't care if it makes the headline tomorrow. I don't fucking care because I'm hurting.
"Listen to me, please. Whatever you saw wasn't what you think it is. I'm not cheating on you Shortcake. Please stop running away from me." He says running behind me. "Please, stop."
I stop and turn around. He bends down breathing heavily. "Listen to me, give me one chance to explain. I promise it is not what you think." He explains.
"I don't care, Nolan. I don't need your explanations now, you are going to lie anyway." I turn to leave.
"I've never lied to you Shortcake, trust me I didn't cheat on you." He boomed.
"Trust? Don't talk about trust Nolan. Everyone told me not to trust you, but I did. I blindly trusted you." Bawling I continued. "Where was I wrong Nolan? Why? Why did you do this to me?" I step back as he started moving towards me. "Was I not enough for you?"
"You are. You are enough for me, love. Just let me-"
"Don't call me love, you asshole," I screamed. "You have no right to call me love when you don't even mean it."
"I mean it." He takes a step ahead as I backed away.
"No, you don't. You never did." I wipe my tears. "Did I even mean anything to you ever? Or was I just one of your fuck toys?"
He stopped, I saw his jaws clenched. "Don't you fucking dare call yourself that."
"Then what should I call myself? Cause I feel like one of those." I looked at him broken. "Did you ever even liked me?"
He shakes his head. "No, I didn't like you. I love you."
"No, you don't. You are lying." I snapped.
"No, I'm not, why can't you understand this? I love you so freaking much, you mean everything to me-" He says.
"Stop... Stop it... Just stop lying to me." I take a step back closing my ears tightly with my hands. Everything started spinning around me, my breathing shortens, I can't breathe. I could see him running towards me but I cannot move. I blink my eyes to see clearly but everything looks so blurry.
"I'm not lying baby, I love you, I really lo-" His eyes widen. "Watch out." I heard him scream before he runs towards me. I heard horns and screeching of tires, something hits me, I feel my body fly and fall to the ground.
Before closing my I see Nolan's worried face, he was trying to say something but I couldn't hear. He hugged me tightly as I started to lose consciousness, large black dots came into my vision and then everything went black.

Slap!
"This is all because of you. She is here because of you."
"Stop it D."
"How can I? Look at her."
"I shouldn't have allowed you to enter her life."
I fall unconsciousness again.
I feel someone take my hand gripping it tightly but much to hurt me.
"Please wake up shortcake." It's Nolan! "I can't see you like this. I promise I'll tell you everything, I'll never hide anything from you. I'll do everything you say. Please, baby, wake up. I can't imagine a life without you now, you mean everything to me. I love so much." I felt something wet on my hands.
Is he crying?
I wanted to tell him to stop crying, but I couldn't move."Mr. Crawford, we have to give her medication."
I felt a pinch on my arms, and everything started to fade again. He kisses my head again. "I love you, please wake up soon."
With that, I again pass on to the darkness.

My head hurts! I slowly opened my eyes, squinting in an attempt to sharpen the blurred images before me. The room was dark and silent, apart from the beeping sound. I glanced at my side to see Nolan hands holding mine with his head down.
I guess he is sleeping, so without disturbing him, I tried to move my hand. He jolted up looking at me wide-eyed.
His expression changes into a confused one before realization dawned on him. "You are awake." He whispers not believing what he sees. He touches my face. "You are really awake. Or am I dreaming?" His eyebrows furrow blinking furiously. I laugh which came out as coughs. He immediately brings me some water. After drinking it I realized how thirsty I was.
"You ok?" He asks worriedly, I nodded. "I'm going to call the doctors. I'll be right back, don't sleep." He mumbled kissing my forehead. I nodded. He runs out of the room and then coming back with a doctor.
"How are you feeling now?" A doctor who looked like to be in his forties asked with a smile on his face.
"My head hurts and body is paining a little," I replied truthfully.
"Ok, anything else?" He asks noting something in his paper. "No," I answered. He checked me and then left giving me some medicines.
The room went silent again. "Umm... I'm just going to call everyone." Nolan says standing up, I held his hand to stop him. "No, don't. It's late, tell them tomorrow." I suggested. He nods, sitting beside me. "Go back to sleep."
"You were asking to wake up, now asking me to sleep? What do you exactly want?" I roll my eyes.
"You heard me?"He looked surprised. I nod in response. He chuckles. "Well, when you didn't wake up for 4 days we all-" I cut him off. "Wait. What did you just say? 4 days?" I almost jumped out of my bed. He nods. "Yes, 3 days." His voice came out strained.
"Uh.. wow, I've always wanted to sleep like that." I chuckle. He stared at me blankly with his jaws clenched. "Do you think this is funny?" He growls. "Do you have any fucking idea of what I went through these 4 days?" He snapped. "No, you don't. You have no idea how fucking hard it was to watch you getting hit by that fucking car. Do you know how fucking helpless I felt when you were lying right here in my arms bleeding profusely?" He exhales painfully. "It was hard. It was fucking hard to see the person I love more than my fucking life lying in my arms lifeless." My smile flatters. He breathes out. "I'm sorry. I-I.."
"No... No... I'm sorry. I shouldn't have..." I breathe out. I have never seen him like this before. His eyes were so red, he looked really exhausted and broken. "....I was just trying to make this situation, you know, less... serious. I'm sorry for making you worry." I added.
He sighs caressing my face, looking at me like I was the most precious thing in this entire world. He kisses my forehead. "Please never do this to me again, love. Please. It killed me to see you like that."
