XiHan lived on the outskirts of the city while the Su mansion was located in the city's central block where the rich ones resided. So it took one hour just to get there by car.
Once he arrived, he saw a tall majestic gate accompanied by the the giant wall which was built in the western style.
The man said something into his communicator and a few seconds later the gate slowly opened, letting the car drive inside. Hr saw a vast garden filled with green scenery and various flowers planted everywhere, the red roses running along the driveway on both sides.
Su Leng (FL's father) was someone who knew how to enjoy himself, so everything here was almost the exact copy of the Western Count's mansion.
Thinking about the architecture, LiFan was reminded of his own house.
He was also someone who enjoyed collecting antique stuff, so his house had an ancient feeling about it. His garden or maybe a forest (?) was even bigger than this and was also full of wild animals. Later on he got to know that the outsiders called his garden(?) 'A forest of no return'
This actually happened because back in the days, his enemies wanted to sneak into his house to steal some of his blueprints.
However, to their misery they had only walked a few steps when they got 'erased' by his pets who did not even leave their bones. This was happening non-stop, like a loop until no one dared to come anymore.
It is not like they didn't consider to capture him, but just that he rarely went out, so they almost never saw him outside, some didn't even know that he actually looked like.
So along with his mysterious identity and his enemies spreading bad rumours about him, his garden has gotten that name. The people deemed him as a psychopath for keeping wild animals just to kill intruders for fun.... like he cares about that.
What those people didn't know was that those wild animals were actually just some robots that he had created out of boredom, he programmed them to have the same intelligence as humans and that's all.
However, he soon got pulled out from recollection of his past by the man in black's voice.
"Third young master, we've arrived."
LiFan simply nodded, then opened the door to get out, he was not stupid enough to think that there actually was someone who was going to open the door for him, since he was not welcome here.
~Even this guy might run off the moment he gets off the car!~
Like he had predicted, as soon as he closed the door, that man quickly stepped on the accelerator and sprinted away.
The corner of LiFan's mouth twitched fiercely at this scene.
~You don't have to be that obvious! You fucker!~
Not wanting to break his docile image, he tried to swallow back his curses as he turned to the old man who was standing behind him.
The old man greeted him as he introduced himself,"Greetings, third young master. My name is He Sun, the Su family's housekeeper. Just call me uncle Sun."
After he finished his introduction LiFan politely greeted back, as he knew that this man was actually Su Leng's left hand, "Yes,uncle Sun!"
Uncle Sun slightly nodded his head then added, "Come, this way please, I will take you to meet with master." He then began to walk to the main hall, LiFan trailing behind him.
"I will summarize a bit about your current status.You are master's sixth child, the youngest. You have 2 brothers and 3 sisters:
Eldest young miss Su Laoer is 21 years old and currently studies at the K University.
Eldest young master Su Ming is 22 years old and currently is an intern at the Su company.
Second young miss Su Ling is 20 years old and just has just gotten married to the Fu family a few months ago.
Third young miss Su Mei is 19 years old and currently is a rookie actress.
Second young master Su Xiang is 18 years old, he's in a third year in the K High School."
Hearing this, LiFan secretly raised his eyebrows.~This old fart really knows how to enjoy his life to the fullest.Once per year ah!~
Uncle Su didn't know what LiFan was thinking as he continued with his talk: "You will live in the West wing from now on, it used to be second young miss' room, so please bear with it, as the room might not be to your liking."
To his response LiFan hastily replied back with a grateful expression: "Ah no it's okay, just the fact that uncle Su had prepared a room for me to stay is good enough already!"
Uncle Su nodded in satisfaction. ~Hmm this one is quite good compared to the others.~
Since the old man had a good impression of LiFan he kindly added: "By the way, if you want to live here peacefully please behave yourself, especially do not provoke eldest miss no matter what! Do you get it?"
LiFan obediently nodded his head. Once uncle Su saw this his face relaxed a little and they soon stopped in front of a big door which LiFan believed was Su Leng's study.
Uncle Su knocked at the door twice: "Master, third young master has arrived. "After that an elderly voice sounded from the inside, "En, let him in."
He then opened the door and gestured for LiFan to go in.Once LiFan got inside uncle Su slowly closed the door and let LiFan to fend for himself in the room with Su leng.
Su leng only lifted his head a little to glance at LiFan, but as soon as he saw what LiFan looks like he furrowed his eyebrows.
At first he thought that as long as XiHan is the child between him and that woman, his looks ought to be first class, so he didn't even bother to look at XiHan's profile when he found that he had another son.
But the reality was really harsh, beside that perfect creamy white skin XiHan had nothing at all! Su leng annoyingly rubbed his temples.
~Just a wastrel! What a waste of my time!~
LiFan knew that Su Leng was getting annoyed after seeing his appearance, so his mood soared up a little.~Hah! Did you expect a pretty boy to come out?In your dreams! ~ But, even if LiFan didn't want to talk to this man he still needed to accomplish his goal, so he was the first one to strike the conversation.
LiFan softly speaks:"Umm...fa-"
Su Leng immediately glared at him then speaked in a cold and detached tone: "Call me master from now on."
LiFan couldn't help but want to roll his eyes. ~I also don't want to call you that! Good! At least you've contributed some good deeds.~
LiFan obediently nodded: "Yes...master actually I want to talk to you about my school."
Su leng indifferently asked: "What rank are you?"
"I'm normally in top 10..."
Su Leng nodded his head although his study was not outstanding, it was still pretty good: "He Sun would prepare the procedure to enroll you to the K Highschool if there is nothing else you-"
Before Su Leng could finish his sentence LiFan cut in,"Actually I want to talk to you about that! The thing is I want to enroll to the K university instead of K high school."
Hearing this, Su Leng paused for a moment when he heard his remark, then he sneered: "Aren't you too full of yourself? Don't you know that there is only 1%of applicants who got accepted every year? Not to mention you are only in a second year of highschool. What a joke!"
So far among his children there is only Loaer who got accepted!
Lifan's lips slightly curled upwards: "Then what if I pass? What will you do?"
Su Leng disdainfully mocked: "What do you want then?"
"I want 10 million, not a penny less."
Su Leng paused at his reply, although this amount was nothing to him, but the outcome of this bet had no meaning to him, either way he still wouldn't gain anything.
Li Fan knew what Su Leng was thinking so he added: "If I didn't get accepted to K Uni I will get out of the Su family or listen to whatever you have in store for me, how about that?"
Slightly interested, Su Leng slowly raised his eyebrows.
~If he was a wastrel then he needed to remove him, this brat has said so himself, he doesn't need to find a way to shut his mouth, but just from the way this brat talks it seems like there's more to the eyes...~
"Fine then I will agree to your condition, so next week you can go with He Sun to take the entrance exam. Now you may go."
Li Fan's eyes lit up, then he thanked Su Leng and retreated back to the door.
The system who had been silent all this time finally voiced his opinion: [Host didn't you say that you'll be low key and act like the original?] From what he saw LiFan just did the opposite.
LiFan retorted back: 'Did you think that if I stay low key all the time in the wolves den without any backing I will survive? Although I might have revealed myself, and seem to be a good chess piece for him it doesn't matter anyways, he won't have the chance to use me.'
~Because by then my fortress will be done.~
He continued: 'Also I didn't violate XiHan's character. That Su Leng didn't even know XiHan's personality, so he didn't even think that I was acting strange. In conclusion, I'm not guilty, as no one thinks that I'm strange. Get it?'
The system: "..."
~No I don't! What kind of logic is that?! It is clear as day that he OOC-ed but he still talks rubbish, as if it was perfectly alright! Argh!~
While the system was cursing him, LiFan on the other hand leisurely followed Uncle Sun to his room.
Uncle Sun finally stopped in front of a room, then turned to LiFan: "This is your room, if you want anything just tell the servant in the corridor. The, if you please excuse me I need to go and do something else."
LiFan gave him a slight bow then flashed him a smile:"Yes! Thank you!"
Only when Uncle Sun finally disappeared from his sight did he open the door to of his new room.
~Fuck!~
That was first word that he had on his mind when he saw the interior of the room. He regretted the words that he told He Sun in the beginning so much that his intestines turned green.
~No wonder he said to bear with it. Everything is full of pink! Damn it! Do I have to stay in this girly room?!~
Even if LiFan was a woman in reality, he had never liked girly stuff or clothes so at that moment his face was full of black lines and he swore in his mind.
~Just you wait, I will paint your entire mansion pink!~
