We took Loki prisoner onboard the quinjet as quickly as possible and soon after we took off. Loki's surprising compliance to coming prisoner was unsettling. If he was supposed to be a god then why did he just give up so easily?

I had my arms crossed over my chest as I eyed the raven haired god curiously. I was leaning gently against the wall of the quinjet with my back to the cockpit where Natasha was. Steve stood in front of me as well as the infamous Tony Stark. I had seen Tony start on the front cover numerous magazines and tabloids. It was always Tony Stark this or Tony Stark that. He looked no different in person with wide eyes and a spiffly cut goatee. His attitude was exactly as Natasha had initially described.

" I don't like it" Steve stated out loud and Tony's robotic suit turned with interest. Tony's face was the only thing visible from within the suit. Tony glanced at Loki dismally as if he just barely caught his attention. " What? Rock of ages giving up so easily?" Tony asked with his already annoying voice.

Steve shook his head as he crossed his buff arms over his broad chest. " I don't remember it ever being that easy. This guy packs a wallop" Steve claimed and I nodded in agreement. It was never supposed to be this easy. This whole ordeal smelt funny. From the moment Loki randomly showed his face is Germany to his complacent attitude now. This guy was the god of mischief and trickery, he must of had a card up sleeve I just knew it. " I agree there is something up" I said as I brushed a loose strand of brown hair behind my ear.

Tony looked less convinced " He is just one guy Cap. Still, you are pretty spry, for an older fellow. What's your thing? Pilates?" Tony asked. Steve gave him an incredulous look. " What?" Steve asked as it was obvious he had no good idea what on earth pilates were.

" It's like calisthenics. You might have missed a couple things, you know doing time as a Capsicle" Stark replied casually and I could practically see the major difference between their two personalities already. I rolled my eyes at Stark's response in a dramatic fashion. " Fury didn't tell me you'd be coming" Steve said and Tony gave him a small falsely empathetic smirk.

" Yea there's a lot Fury doesn't tell us" Tony replied with a knowing glimmer in his eyes. I was about to ask what exactly he meant by that since he might have known something that I didn't. When suddenly a loud clap of thunder boomed nearby and a bright flash of lightning lit up the cabin. The quinjet shuddered from turbulence causing me to have to use the wall for support to stop myself from falling. Steve stumbled forward and nearly fell as well. " Where is that coming from?" Natasha asked as another ripple of thunder sounded from up above. I quickly returned my gaze to where Loki was and he was looking out the window intently. His expression was that of someone who was mortified.

" What's wrong Loki, you scared of a little thunder?" I asked as more lightning sounded in the distance. Loki looked back at me with his partially open " I'm not overly fond of what follows" He replied and I shared a puzzled look with Steve. What the hell was that supposed to mean?

The answer became quickly apparent as a blinding light seemed to appear outside the ship. This blinding light ripped off the back entry way of the quinjet. For just a brief few seconds I saw what the bright light was underneath the gleaming brilliance. It was a broad shouldered man with shoulder length blonde hair. In his hand there was a hammer and within seconds he took a hold of Loki and then disappeared. "Now there's that guy" Tony noted while putting his face plate back over his face. My mind raced as I thought who on earth that thunder guy was. I didn't know whole lot about Norse gods but it only made sense that this guy was an Asgardian. The sudden storm and large hammer made me think he was probably the Asgardian god of thunder. His name was like Thur or something but was he a good guy?

" Is he on our side?" I asked as a chilled wind whipped around my face from the ripped up entry way of the quinjet. " Doesn't matter. If he frees Loki or kills him, the Tesseract's lost" The robotic voice of Tony's suit replied as he neared the exit of the quinjet to chase after the blondie with the hammer.

Stark was ready to jump when Steve stepped in " Stark, we need a plan of attack!" Steve argued. Tony looked back absently

" I have a plan. Attack!" Tony replied as he too flew off into the storm after Loki and the blonde.

Steve looked at me as if realizing that he was the only one who could not fly. "Oh don't be looking at me, I'm so not carrying you all the way down there" I told him. He gave a small grin but there was really no way I could. I could only lift so much weight and if I accidently dropped him I didn't want to have to explain to Fury how I sorta caused the demise of Captain America. Believe me, that kind of thing really looked bad on resumes. " Harp you should go after them but Cap you might want to sit this one out. These guys are like gods" Natasha claimed from the cockpit where she still tried to maneuver the quinjet through the air.

Steve didn't listen as he went for a parachute " There's only one God, ma'am. And I'm pretty sure he doesn't dress like that" Steve replied. I snorted softly " I'm going out" I announced before leaping out of the Quinjet into the stormy weather outside. The wind practically screamed by as I went through the air like a dart. My enhanced vision, that was designed to replicate a hawk or eagles vision, searched the land below for Stark or the two supposed gods. The scenery below was majorly forrest with a rock formation beside it. I could see random flashes of white energy and lighting coming from the forest where the Iron Man was fighting the blonde. Yet I did not see Loki with them and searched the rest of the ground before I spotted him casually waiting at the edge of rock formation. He wasn't even trying to escape or sneak away.

I angled my body towards where Loki was as a surge of adrenaline rushed through me. I had missed this feeling. The feeling of pursuit and the excitement that came along with it. The biggest adrenaline rush I had had in the last year was a couple months ago when I found the neighbors tarantula in my shower. It was surprising how much I missed flying as well. It always made me free even when I had been a part of The Hand.

These thoughts only lasted seconds as I quickly approached where Loki was casually waiting. I used my wings to slow down my free fall when I was a couple football fields away from where he was. I landed in the classic superhero kneel and this caused Loki to glance up with mild interest. His snake like eyes seem to look through me as if I was made of brittle glass. The thin slice of a cut I had given him was still obviously apparent at the edge of his jawline. " Well if it isn't the pretty little bird" Loki greeted with his husky british voice. I already had my hand on my walther just incase he decided to attack. But judging by how he hadn't even bothered to try escaping before, I kind of doubted he would try anything now.

I didn't say anything to him and only fixed him with a glare as my hand itched to grab my walther. " You know, Barton told me quite a bit about you Ms. Silviano. Yet his description of your gift could never do the justice of seeing it in person" Loki claimed with deceptive threads beaded into his words. I arched a brow as his eyes looking curiously at my metallic wings. Was he really trying to flatter me?

"What have you done to agent Barton?" I asked as I heard the sound of nearby lighting and the energy blasts coming from Tony's suit. Hopefully the Captain would land soon. I didn't want to risk a glance behind me to see how the battle was going for worry that this god would slip away like smoke. Loki gave a sinister smile that reminded me of the scary clown from those Stephen King movies. " In truth I haven't done that much to him. Not yet anyway. But he has done plenty for me" Loki replied.

I swallowed down my urge to punch that stupid grin of his angular face. " Allow me to rephrase that. Where is he?" I asked taking a step forward. Loki's grin grew somehow wider to where his face looked nearly mask like. " Is that emotion I hear? That's strange for an agent. Oh that's right you left the agency" Loki said as he strayed away from my question once more.

Off in the distance a loud chiming sound that reminded me of a grand church bell erupted. I had no idea what could have made such a sound but I kept my focus on the god. " I wonder, do you even know the real reason your leader, Fury, was testing the tesseract to begin with?" Loki asked and I began to understand exactly why he was the god of mischief and trickery. Everything he said was meant to try and deceive me. Thankfully, two could play at this game, but I hadn't any time for games. I could practically feel my mind slip back into my previous secret agent mindset. It felt as if I was a part of the Hand all over again. I took out my walther and pointed it directly at his head. His wide smile vanished as a new more dangerous glimmer danced behind his eyes. " Last time, where is Clint?" I stated more than asked.

I couldn't kill him but Fury never said I couldn't threaten him. " You dare to threaten a god you pathetic mortal?" He asked with his voice lowering significantly. " I'm not just any mortal" I stated before something landed beside us. It was Tony who carried Steve awkwardly. Quickly after the large blonde man with a hammer landed gracefully. He had a gruff face with a fair amount of stubble and a broad stature in height.

" Lower your weapon" The large man ordered and he too had a peculiar accent that sounded Australian. I glanced to Steve as I never took orders from random galoots with hammers and overgrown hair. Steve nodded " We're taking him back to S.H.I.E.L.D." Steve replied and I finally lowered my walther and returned it back to is respective holster. I tried to shake shake off the peculiar feeling I had felt that caused me to return back to how I had once acted as a secret assassin for The Hand. I had felt that same sensation come over me several times when I had briefly worked for S.H.I.E.L.D a couple years ago. The Hands brainwashing effects still held over me to this day. At least now I could sort of control it.

" Yup apparently Goldilocks here and Reindeer games are brothers" Stark voiced and I scoffed mildly even though it was rather important. Loki still glared at me harshly and I returned the look. My eyes flickered briefly to meet Steve's and I could see concern all over his expression. It was as if he could detect my change in behavior. I wasn't the mild mannered absently humored woman he had met from earlier.

I nodded simply.

" Let's go then"
