Their eyes were glazed over,
With broken dreams and hopes,
Their brain was taken over,
By miseries that they couldn't cope,
Lungs filled with silent screams,
Eyes filled with dried tears,
Heads empty of all dreams,
A life empty of happy years,
But even when all seems dark,
They'll hold their head high,
They won't fall apart,
And someday soon they'll fly
