"Let me have your keys."
I stared at him with a confused expression, "What?"
"How do you think we're going to get there?"
"You do realize that I can drive?"
He smiled, "Yes, I do realize that, but I'm the one who knows how to get there."
I stared at his face, thinking whether or not I should trust him with my truck.
"I don't know if I can trust you, Daeil."
He pursed his lips, "You did let me stay the night so..."
"True, I guess you can drive it."
His eyes filled with excitement, "Yes!"
We were about to leave the house, but then I looked down and realized I was still wearing my pajamas.
"Daeil!"
He swung back around, "Yes?"
I pointed down to my lower body, "Look!"
"Oh... Well, hurry it up and get dressed."
I looked at him with a blank face, "You aren't dressed properly either."
His eyes widened, but a smirk began to rise on his face, "I'm going to go to mi casa and get ready! See you in an hour!"
"And how exactly are you going to get to your house?"
He laughed, "By your car."
Before I could get him, he was already gone.
...I'm totally going to kick his butt later.

[Lauren's outfit]
I looked at myself in the mirror and was satisfied with my outfit. I wanted to wear something nice, but look good at the same time.
The doorbell rang and I ran to the door. When I opened it, Daeil was standing outside. He was wearing a white shirt with black sweatpants, and a tan fanny pack.
"Wow, seems like you're bringing fanny packs back into style."
He smirked, "I know."
"Well, let's go, kind sir."
Daeil and I began walking to my car. It was pretty sunny outside and the right temperature for a nice day out.
"You know, it seems like we're matching."
I looked over at him, "Not really."
He pointed at his outfit and then pointed to mine, "Look, you're wearing a white shirt and I'm wearing a white shirt. You're wearing black pants too."
I pointed to his sweatpants and said, "Those are sweatpants though."
"It's the same colors!"
I smiled, "So?"
He whined, "Let's just get in the dumb car."
"Don't call my car dumb!"

On the way to the amusement park, Daeil told me more about himself and how he really loves music.
We have a lot in common. Like, we both enjoy music and love to cook. Plus, we like to sleep too!
Daeil and I arrived at the amusement park around 4 pm. It didn't really take long to get there, maybe about forty minutes.
He opened the car door for me, and helped me out.
I looked toward the amusement park, "Wow."
"What?"
"It's just I haven't been to one of these places in awhile."
He grabbed my hand, "Then, let's go!"
With Daeil guiding me, we ran to the entrance and saw so many rides.
There was a huge ferris wheel, scary rollercoasters, and those swing rides.
After we paid, we headed straight to the concession stands.
"Daeil, really?"
He paid and looked over at me, "What? I want a hot dog."
Daeil finished it in about one minute.
"Wow, you must have been hungry."
We started walking towards one of the roller coasters.
My heart started beating once we got closer to the ride.
"Hey, Daeil."
"Yes?"
I looked down, "I'm sorta scared of heights, and roller coasters."
"Lauren, you'll be fine."
"I don't know about this."
"I'll buy you anything you want if you go on with me."
I smiled, "Anything?"
Daeil smiled back, "Anything, Lauren, anything."

The wait went by pretty fast.
The entire time, my hands were sweating and my heartbeat wouldn't go down.
"You ready, Lauren?"
"Nope."
He put his hand on my shoulder and said, "If you're scared, you can hold my hand."
I looked at him with a disgust look on my face, "I'm good."
"You held my hand while we were running over here."
I pointed to him, "You held my hand first!"
A lady's voice spoke, "Uh, excuse me? It's y'alls turn to get on."
"Oh, I'm sorry," I said.
We stepped into the seat of the rollercoaster. It was one of those where it straps you in, and your feet are hanging.
"Daeil, I'm freaking out right now."
"It'll be okay."
The rollercoaster started to go up, I tried so hard not to look down.
"Just don't look down," Daeil said.
I looked down, "Daeil!"
"I told you not to look!"
I whined, "It's one of those things where someone says don't do it, but you have to!"
"Just calm down, Lauren."
"I wish I cou-"
Right when I said that, we went down the drop.
I screamed,"Daeil, I hate you!"
He yelled back, "It's okay!"
Right when we were about to go on a loop, I grabbed Daeil's hand.
After awhile, the ride ended.
I looked down at our hands, "Oh, I'm sorry."
He smiled, "It's okay. Did you like the ride?"
"Not really, but I did enjoy the rush."
"I'm glad that you did, Lauren."

It began to get dark. Daeil and I rode a lot of rides today, and I was really proud of myself.
"You know, there still isn't one ride we haven't rode yet," he said.
I turned to him with ice cream in my hand, "Which one?"
"The ferris wheel."
My face heated up a bit, "Oh yeah."
I threw away my ice cream, "Well, let's ride it then." (a/n: yes, she finished the ice cream. don't panic, she didn't waste it.)
We got on and it was a nice, peaceful ride.
"Wow."
I turned to him.
His eyes were on me, but they moved away when I looked at him.
He replied, "Why do you say, 'wow'?"
"When you're up here and look outside, it's like we're on a different world. It's nice and peaceful, but down there, it's chaotic."
He wasn't looking at me when I said that.
I put my hand on his face and turned it towards me, "Look at me."
His eyes stared into mine.
I put my hand back on my lap and told him, "Thank you, Daeil."
"For what?"
I smiled, "For taking my mind off things. Today was one of the best days of my life."
He didn't say anything, he was just staring at me.
"Daeil?"
His eyes went down to my lips, then back up to meet my eyes.
Daeil started to lean in slowly.
I said in a hushed voice, "Daeil, what are you doing?"
My heart started to beat fast.
His face started getting closer and closer.
"Daeil, I-"
"Shhh, Lauren."
I felt Daeil's hand on my cheek.
I slowly closed my eyes and leaned in too.
Our lips were inches apart, then they finally collided.
His lips were soft and they completed mine.
He smiled in the kiss and said,
"You're welcome, Lauren."
