Sam's POV
I held my best friends head in my lap as I began to cry.
I couldn't help but think if this would be the last interaction i had with him.
He was everything to me.
I couldn't lose him.
He began to couch up blood and it made a splatter.
Corey came out of his room followed by Devyn.
Devyn froze up but Corey ran over.
Crashing to down to his knees,
"What happened- oh my god someone call an ambulance!" He shouted out frantically as i froze in frame.
Staring at his face and eyes that searched the surreal surroundings,
"I don't know the number for the country!" I heard Aaron shout and Elton reply,
"I think it's 998" he said surprisingly calm as everyone was losing their shit.
I looked back down at Colby who was starting to go unconscious,
"No no- no! You're not doing this-" I beg in hysteria.
His eyes closed and I started to smack his cheek.
He was out cold and his whole body had relaxed.
I looked up at Katrina who was stood with Amanda in shock.
I looked at them all who were all looking behind me.
I snapped my head around to face a sleepy Ronnie quickly turn to fully awake.
Her eyes darted to Colby's limp body in my arms and she rushed over,
"No Ronnie- you don't want-" I reacted quickly holding out a hand to try pull her back but it was no use.
There was no stopping her.
She focused on him and quickly her caring instincts kicked in,
"No.. no. Colby, Colby come on. You're not doing this do me.." she croaked as she kneeled down beside him in my arms with caution.
She placed her palms on his cheeks and she broke down.
I dropped my hands to my side and she pulled him close to her.
Her legs sprawled out beneath his body.
Her arms wrapped around him and her hand on his cheek.
Wiping the blood on the side of his lip with his shaky thumb,
"Please- please don't leave me" she cried out as she buried her face into his chest.
She started to heave and scream out bloody murder,
"Please! Colby, Please!" She continued to scream, hoping that he would hear her.
But there was no use.
She rocked back and forth with him in her arms.
She continued to hold her face close to his chest,
"Ronnie i-" I interrupted as I seen the paramedics being guided along the hallway by Elton and Aaron,
"I can hear his heartbeat!" She exclaimed still holding her head in place.
The paramedics reached us and tried to take Colby,
"He is going to be okay right? He need to be okay- tell me that he is going to be okay!" She exasperated in exhaustion.
Her arms giving up and falling to her side as they loaded his limp body onto a stretcher.
She snapped out of her freeze and chased after the paramedics.
Elton tried to stop her but she slipped from his grasp,
"I'm going with him!" She cried out as her voice began to fade.
I stood up and leaned up against the wall in humility.
I began to sob again.
The sun shining through the windows made me sweat and the tears run further.
My body went weak and I fell forward.
Corey quickly put his arms out and braced my fall,
"What am I going to do? What do I tell his parents? I- i-" I began to think and my brain wouldn't let me stop.
I didn't know how much I needed him until I needed him the most.
I needed him to be better but he wasn't getting better.
He was getting worse and worse.
I needed him to get better.
I needed my bestfriend.
