Chapter 35- The Surprise.
**Aubree's POV**
I knock the door of Nolan's cabin. "Come in." His deep voice called in.
"You asked for me." He looked up smiling. "Yes."
I frowned seeing his face. He has bags under his eyes and looked so pale. Doesn't he sleep at night? "Aren't you sleeping well? You look so pale. Do you have a fever?" I went up to him and checked his forehead. "Thank god, you don't have a fever." I sigh.
He grabbed my hand and pulled me onto his lap. I yelped and slapped his chest. "What are doing?" I try to get away from him but he tightens his hold on me pulling me closer. He keeps his head on my shoulder and takes a deep breath. "Oh god! You feel so good." He moans aloud.
My eyes widen as I slapped him again. "Can you keep it low, someone might hear you outside and will think..." He chuckles stopping me in the middle. "think that we are having s.."I slapped his mouth shut.
He laughs removing my hands."I don't care if they do, shortcake. It's been almost a week since I held you in my arms." He sighs. "So, please be still."
He keeps his head on my chest holding me by my waist. I wrap my hands around his neck massaging his head lightly. He moans lightly. "Keep doing that." I hummed in response while we stay there like that for few minutes.
"Oh, you called me for something right?" I remembered.
"Ah! Yes, Kiera called me and asked me..." He lets out a chuckle. "Well, ordered me to let you go after lunchtime, for dad and mom's anniversary shopping."
"Oh sweet lord, I almost forgot about that." I slapped my forehead. "What should I buy for them?"
"Nothing, they already love you enough." He pouts. "More than they love me." I laugh remembering the first time I met them.
Lily and Nick are so cool, I mean I never knew rich people can be so modest. They were nothing like Nolan when I first met him. They were so warm and welcoming, they treated me like their own daughter, I somewhat feel like I was home again. Nick, reminded me of my father, and Lily was a mother I have always wanted. I'm so envious of Nolan that he got a family who loves him more than anything in the world.
I pecked his pouted lips. "I know they love me more than you, that's why I want them to love me even more." I winked. His pout got bigger. I laugh again shaking my head. "Well, if that's it. I'm going to go now, I have to pack things up." I try to stand up but he didn't leave me.
"What now?" I asked him furrowing my eyebrows. "One more please." He puckered his lips.
"No, what if Hailey comes in? Do you want to get beaten by Kiera again?" I said remembering the last time he tried to kiss me and got caught. I cringed remembering the look on Kiera's face. "She won't say anything. Just one small, tiny peck." He looks at me with his infamous puppy dog face.
Damn it! He looks so freaking cute!!
His lips slightly twitched upwards knowing I can't resist his puppy face. "Please!!" He pouts get bigger. I sigh and pecks his lips but he had some other plans.
He takes hold of my head from the back and presses his lips further kissing me fully on my lips. He is a damn good kisser. I tried to resist for some time but had to give in to his lips. I let him into my mouth where our tongue fought for dominance, but, he won. Just Because I let him!
"Woah, ho ho ho!! What the heck is going on here?" Kiera entered the cabin. I jumped off his lap startled.
"Umm..." I stared at Nolan for some help who was still sitting. I glared at him, he sighed and pulled me to stand in front of him. "Well, you have seen what was going on." He said to Kiera. I turned my head looked at him confused and tried to get away.
"Don't move." He presses himself more into me. My eyes widen feeling his... thing. "We don't want my sister to see that, now, do we?" He smirks and looks ahead to Kiera. Red-faced I looked at D, who was staring at us with a big grin on her face. I duck my head down to not let anyone see me.
"Aww, I'll miss torturing you." Kiera whine. I stared at her confused. "What?"
Her eyes widen. "Umm... nothing. Nothing at all." She shuttered and then clapped her hands. "Come on, we have a lot of shopping to do."
"Oh, ok. Let me just grab my bag."

"Will you stop frowning now? You are ruining your makeup." D slapped my head.
"Oww.." I rubbed my head and gave her a big smile. "I didn't ask you to smile either. It was just a teddy, we can get it from anywhere. Stop overreacting."
I scoffed. "It wasn't just some teddy. It was big cute panda teddy. His eyes were so... it was like he was calling me to buy him and keep him with me forever." I let out a cry. She gave me a look.
"Tada" Kiera came in with my dress. "Here's your dress." She takes out a beautiful burgundy skater dress, with matching heels and other accessories.
"Wow...It's so beautiful." I touch the dress. "But why am I wearing it? WHat's the occasion?" And they again did the same thing they are doing from last 2 hours. They zipped their mouth and throw the keys away. They share a secretive grin among themselves.
Ugh!!
I roll my eyes and again sit in my chair and let D do, whatever she was doing.
"And... done. Look." D clapped her hands showing me the mirror. I opened my eyes and looked at myself. "Wow, is this really me? I look gorgeous." I touched the mirror. "I should really start putting on some makeup right?"
"You don't need makeup to look gorgeous Bree." Kiera looked at me teary eyed.
"What is it? Why are you crying?" She shakes her head. "I'm just happy." She replies wiping her unshed tears. "Take the dress." I nod and change.
I walk out of the room after changing and they both stared at me opened mouth. "Good job." Keira patted D's back. "You too." D grinned. The doorbell rang.
They both smiled. "He is here."
"Who is here?" They both pushed me outside. Kiera went to open the door, while D stood in front of me. "Don't move at all." She whispered.
"Ms.Crawford. I'm here to get Ms. Turner." I heard a male voice. "Did he..." She whispered something that I didn't hear.
"Yes, Mam." He said again. "Ok then," Kiera says and D pushed me outside the house.
"Guys, would you please tell me what's happening?" I plead. They grin and zipped their mouth again.
"Mam, we should go now." The guy who looks to be in mid-thirties says. "Where?" I ask him trying to know where are were going.
"Surprise." He smiles and opens the door of a black Mercedes AMG s65. I look at it with awe.
After entering the car I asked him again for some information but he refused to say anything, just kept smiling. I gave up and turned to look out of the window.
The car turned into a familiar driveway and stopped outside a big mansion.
Not just any mansion.
It was Nolan's place.
