The sound of Jeyna's alarm filled the room which causes her eyes to flutter open. She sees the bits of light taunting her through her curtains and immediately stretches herself because of it. It was gonna be another long day for her.

As she stretches her body and lays her lazy feet on the floor, she had totally forgotten the events that had occured the previous night.

"Oh my god!" She shrieked as she jumped up her bed.

Sean didn't even flinch.

She held her heart as she started to remembered what had happened last night. This stranger was really asleep on her bedroom floor. She was starting to think he was dead, especially since he did not even flinch due to her scream.

"Hey, John? No.. Dawn?" She rubbed her head as she tried to remember his name.

"Sean!" She mentally patted herself on the back.

"Sean." She tapped his leg with her foot as she got up.

Nothing.

He had gotten such a peaceful sleep last night that he was in a deep sleep. Little did she know was that he was the heaviest sleeper there is.

"Sean." She said louder while leaning down and rocking his shoulders.

Still nothing.

"Sean!" She shouted almost convinced he was dead.

"Sean!" She shouted again but pulling him up.

His eyes flutter open in confusion and is surprised to see this girl pulling his arm. He was almost convinced last night was a dream. Except, it was all pretty much real.

"Woah, so it wasn't a dream." He says in his low, morning voice.

"Yup." She nodded before walking off.

"Where you going?" He asked as he sat up and leaned against her bed.

"To get ready to leave, I have errands." She replies.

"Can I come?" He asks, getting up to stretch his muscles.

"What?" She peeks her head back into her room to take a good look at him. "Did you fall on your head last night or what?"

"Uh, no." He replied.

"Well okay, one." She stepped back into her room and held her finger up for emphasis. "I don't want to get trampled by your fans."

He nodded and shrugged his shoulders in agreement.

"And two, we aren't friends." She says blunty before turning on her heel, leaving him in shock.

He kinda thought they were.

"Wait, wait. What do you mean 'not friends'?" He chases after her.

"'Not friends' meaning not even acquaintances." She vaguely says as she poured herself a bowl of cereal.

He felt so down about this. He had thought that they were growing a friendship, slowly atleast. He really did enjoy her company and wanted to spend more time with her.

"Oh c'mon, I ain't that bad." He smiles.

She looks up at him boringly before looking back down at her cereal and taking a bite.

"Alright. You know what. Let's get this straight." He said sternly, earning a confused stare from her.

"You see, I need a friend and I want to consider you one. Especially since you seem really nice and took me in last night."

"That meant nothing." She interrupted, taking another bite from her cereal.

"Well it did to me." He says, looking straight into her eyes. "Now let me continue."

She just rolls her eyes and nods, giving him permission to continue.

He nods as well beore continuing, "You seem to need help money wise, especially since you wanna go to college."

"Yeah and so what? Get to the point." She practically demanded, getting impatient listening to him talk.

He sighs as he combs his fingers through his hair.

"Look. You obviously need a friend and I need an escape, so--"

"I don't need a friend."

"And what if I paid you?"

"How much?"

His face lights up a bit as a smile tempted to show from her sudden interest. She would do almost anything to earn money. She needed to survive somehow, and to her this was a easy job.

"Well what about every time we 'hang out' or I need you, I pay you $300?" He asks for her thoughts.

"I can do that." She says while setting her bowl of cereal down.

"So, do we have a deal?" He smiled, reaching his hand out to her.

"We have a deal." She smiled back, accepting his hand and giving his a quick, firm shake.

"I still don't think you should come with me." Jeyna says as she dusted off her jeans.

"I'm gonna be fine." Sean chuckled as he made sure he didn't leave anything behind.

"Okay, but what about me?" She reminded him.

She had no plans of getting attacked today.

"Don't worry, they won't recognize me." He stupidly says.

"Oh yeah, sure. Says the person who had to run away from girls last night." She rolled her eyes as she put on her shoes.

He narrows his eyes in annoyance because of her constant reminder of last night.

"Okay, yeah. Whatever, let's just go." He huffed.

"Alright, alright." She laughed slightly.

He watched as she collected her stuff into a bag and went to grab something under her shelf. What he saw took him by a huge surprise.

"Is that a skateboard?" His jaw hung slightly.

"Yeah, why?" She chuckled as she stepped out and waited for him.

"What? You playing gender roles now or what?" She asks, raising an eyebrow.

"Uh, what? No--" He stuttered. "I was just--"

"Surprised?" She huffed a laugh before throwing her skateboard infront of her and skating away.

He just stares at her, not being able to take it in. It was like he was a detective and she was the mystery and that he had just found one of his clues. He was so astonished by this simple thing.

As he continued to be mesmerized, she stops and turns to him. "You coming or not?" She asks him from a distance.

He snaps out of his trance and nods awkwardly, "Uh, yeah."

He throws his skateboard onto the concrete as well and jumps on. He easily catches up to her and smiles at her. She just gives him a weird look before speeding up.

After a couple minutes, they make it to town. They figured it would be safe to get something new for him to wear. The fans from last night could've remembered what he wore and told people.

"Okay, we're here." She announces while picking her skateboard up.

"Nice." He smiled and nods.

"Hey, can you wear this for a bit then? I don't wanna lose it." He says while taking off the jacket he had been wearing since last night.

"What? No." She shook her head while taking a step away from it.

"Oh c'mon. Please?" He looked at her with puppy eyes and she sighs before grabbing it.

She can't believe she put herself into this mess. Not breaking eye contact, she slips her arms through the sleeves and pulls it over her shoulders.

"Happy?"

"Very." He chuckled.

"Let's just hurry this up." She huffed again before walking over to Urban Outfitters.

He followed close behind her and looked around in amazement. He has never been out like this before. It made him excited. He literally felt like a child who just experienced Disney Land for the first time.

As they were about to walk in, a group of girls were walking out. Jeyna thought nothing of this but Sean did. He grabbed her arm and pulled her back almost like an instinct, making them drop both their skateboards.

He knew this would piss her off and maybe even scare her, but he had to do this.

"What the hell?!" She spat before he gently pushes her against a wall.

"Put your arms around my neck." He commands.

"What?! No!" She protested, literally in the verge of punching him.

"Do it or I'll actually kiss you."

He looked her straight in the eyes when he said this and it made her go weak. Not even in a good way, it scared her. She was beginning to believe she made a wrong choice.

Not wanting to get kissed by him, she wraps her arms around his neck. Making him awkwardly close to eachothers faces. He leans one arm against the wall while one rested on her waist.

She didn't know why he was doing this until they overheard the girls' conversation.

"Yeah! I totally saw him last night!" One girl bragged.

"The Sean Lew?" One asked in disbelief.

Her eyes grow wide from fright, she didn't wanna be caught with him. He whispers for her to keep quiet as they pass by them. Her breath quickens as this lasts longer than a minute but she managed to survive.

When they were out of sight, Sean leans back and immediately apologizes. "I'm sorry if I had to do that."

"Don't ever put me in that situation again." She scowls, crossing her arms.

"I promise. I'm sorry." He sighed and he picked up their boards.

"Whatever." She huffed.

"Okay, let's just go somewhere I won't be seen." He says, trying to live past this incident.

"I got the perfect place then."
