Her dad examined her and then came back into the room
"Because of how deep they went into her brain it caused memory loss. Whoever did this went thousands of years into the past and tried their hardest to find whatever they were finding" "so she doesn't remember anything? Not even us?" "She doesn't even remember what she is"
Ethan's POV
After awhile we all made a plan to take her out and try to help her get her memory back
As we talked about it more I saw the look on Grayson's face and it wasn't happy
After we made a plan Grayson said he wasn't feeling well and left but we all knew he was lying so Brie decided to go with him
I was going to volunteer but with the way things ended between us, I decided it would be best if I didn't
Isabella's POV
One of the guys told me to get in his car and that we were going on a trip
I was kinda freaked out, I don't know him but the man who said he was my dad said it was ok
In the car he started talking
"Your name is Isabella Pierce...or Isabella Mikaelson you haven't really established it. But anyways you're a hybrid, a vampire and a werewolf, so am I and Grayson, my twin brother. Brie is a vampire, the one with the blonde hair, and your dad and Olivia are witches"
I look at him and frown my eyebrows "you've got to be joking"
"Why would I joke?"
"You expect me to believe that?"
He looks around the road for a bit "fine. Here's something I think you should know. Before all this you and my brother broke up. Well you broke up with him
"Why?" "I don't know. Maybe you need to clear your head"
I looked at the road "Was he good to me?" "Fantastic"
He pulls up to a school. And we both hop out of the car
As he points to different spots and tells me what happened there. "Right there is where this massive food fight happened, you weren't there but it was hilarious. There is where you snapped my neck and called me a murderous vampire, it's was kinda my fault but whatever and here" he stopped walking "is where we met"
I turned to look at him and crossed my arms "you remember where we met?"
"Of course. You were being a total creep so I kindly asked for you to go away"
"Kindly huh? I have a hard time believing that" "Well that's your problem"
"Come on I wanna show you something" he walked past me and opened a door to a stairway. We walk up the stairs and he opens another door that led to the roof
He stood at the edge of the roof and I stood about 5 feet away from him
He turned to look at me and signaled for me to come closer "no thanks I'm good"
He sighed. "You can trust me"
I come closer and stand next to him
I stand only for a second until he says "it's that nice"
"Yeah it is" "good. Now because you didn't believe me in the car, I guess we have to take this approach" he shoved me forward
I land into some branches and it still hurt like hell
I get up and see him magically in front of me "What the hell?" I yell at him. I look at my arm and there's a large open wound. I was surprised I didn't break anything
I start to panic but he just looks at me. I look at him confused on why his unfazed until I feel something happen. I look down at my arm to see it healing itself "woah"
"Cool right? Ok now I want you to jump back on the roof" "what how am I suppo" "just jump with as much force as you can"
I look up and try to aim where I wanted to land. Once I got up there I yell "I did it!" "See I told you" he says from below. I then jumped down and stuck the landing and he smiled
"Ethan right?" I ask and he nods "I really like you Ethan"
I could tell that made him happy. He looked around and said "hey. Race ya back home" "but I don't even know where home i-" he ran in a flash
I pushed with all of my force and began to run after him
Grayson's POV
I continue walking as I hear a "hey wait up!" Behind me
I turn to see Brie "hey" I don't reply
"Everything's gonna be fine" I stop walking "no brie. Everything's not gonna be fine. She doesn't remember us. She doesn't remember that I love her and she might never will"
"Don't say that" "why? Because you think there's some kind of hope" "no because I know there's some kind of hope. We are going to get her back. Even if it means recreating everything we've been through"
Olivia's POV
After Brie left with Grayson I stood around and talked to Jason about the situation
"Ok Olivia the only reason I'm telling you this is because I didn't want to get the others hopes up but, there's a very slim chance Isabella can get her memory back"
"How?" "Well you must find whoever did this first. Since they were able to take her memories they have the power to give them back"
I felt happy but also sadden. We don't know who did this. Not a name, home nothing. And I doubt Melissa will tell us
"Well since you said that I think you should know why this happened. I'm not entirely sure who this is but the witch was trying to find someone named Alex"
He looked startled at first "Alex?" I nodded
"Did they find them?" "Yes"
Grayson's POV
When the day was over we decided to get some hot chocolate and just walk around for a while to get our mind off of things
"You know, before all this, Isabella told me something. She said Olivia found a cure" "really?" "Yeah she uh wanted me to take it. But I said "being human without you isn't an option" but now I don't know"
"Yes you do. You love her, and she loves you she just needs time to readjust. Everyone needs time to readjust"
"Would you take it?" "What? The cure?" "Yeah. I mean you don't deserve this" "neither do you. No one does" "but you were dragged into this. I was born into this, you actually had a chance to be normal"
"No" she says "no what?" "I wouldn't take the cure. Sometimes being human might not be enough. Maybe you have to wait an actual eternity to get what you want. I know I would"
"What would that be?"
"Something I've been wanted my whole life. Something I've been afraid of. But I'm not anymore"
"Well I hope you get you want"
"Yeah. Me too"
Isabella's POV
After our day we went back to his house
"Nice place" I say "thanks"
I sat on the couch and Ethan just stood in front me
"Remember I told you about us in that jewel and how we spent two months in there" "yeah" "well when we were there you made this big deal about our anniversary being there. You even made us dinner"
"I must have really cared"
"You did. And that's what I liked. And after we ate, he walked over to the stereo and turned it on "we danced. To this very song"
He suck out his hand. I debated for a second, not really feeling comfortable dancing but I gave in and grabbed it
"You know, there was a time where you hated me" he said "did you give me a reason to?"
"Some may think so. You see I'm not the most liked person out of all of us"
"I like you" "really?" "Of course. And thanks a lot for today"
"No problem. But if I were you I wouldn't say that"
"Say what?"
"We're in this mess because of me. If you didn't like me then you wouldn't have stormed out of the house that day and you would still have your memories right now"
"Stop it. Even though I don't have them I still like you. You helped me out today and I appreciate that" "I only helped because I had to. Not because I wanted to"
I rolled my eyes "don't say that" I grabbed my necklace "you would've given me this if you didn't care about me"
He looked at me confused but I ignored it and continued talking "the last thing I remember is looking at this and thinking about how we were in there. How we were safe. And how much you care about me so don't say that being here is something you had to do"
"Bella I didn't tell you about the necklace. You just remembered"
He smiles and picks me up to spin me around we laughs and he spins us. He stops to put me down only to kiss me when my feet hit the ground
He kisses me twice then pulls away leave one inch of space between us "Sorry"
"It's ok" he begins to complete pulls away but I put my hand on the back of his neck and pull him back in
"No. Don't leave this time"
