When the stress gets to you,
You seem to have no one to lean to.
When your workload is piling up,
You have nowhere to go.

When the clock chimes for you to be in class,
Your lethargic body must be hushed.
When you have to repeatedly explain,
You are shouting inside but your smile's not vain.

When your feet ache from too much standing,
You can't complain and be demanding.
When your voice and throat gets too much irritated,
You can cry but must speak up dedicated.

And when the day is ending,
You see your students beaming.
And when they achieve something,
You can't help but think teaching is rewarding.
