I tap my feet my feet impatiently. Shivers creep down to my feet as the wind started to pick up, Curse myself for forgetting to bring a warm sweater with me.
I try to stay out of the way for people who wants to walk in the pavement. It's so crowded today.
After a minute of waiting, a pair of feet comes to my view,
"I'm sorry. There's so much traffic on my way here." He panted. I took a good look on him, his hair is all over the place, his breath is rigid, his eyes are wide, clearly he's panicking.
I don't understand how can he be so worry about this. "Jeff, calm down." I pause and smile at him, "It was only a couple of minutes."
"Still, it's cold outside." He frowns
I laugh lightly and throw myself to his embrace, "I'm okay. You shouldn't have worried to much about this." I whisper into his ear.
I let him go, instantly regret my decision, because I'm back to cold again. Damn this December's weather. If it wasn't for Christmas spirit, I would fly to Hawaii right now.
"Come." I smile and pull his arm to the main door of the 40 stories apartment.
The thing is, this apartment is way too secure for my liking. I mean, it's good. But it's quiet a troublesome for me.
I swipe my access card into the door, only resident who has this card. Which is the reason why I'm shivering my ass off waiting for Jeff.
"How long you're gonna stay?" I ask Jeff, once we're inside the elevator. Pressing the 37th floor.
"A whole month. I'm gonna spend my Christmas with you for once." He flashes me his charming smile, soon my smile reflects his.
Finally, a whole week with him. We haven't seen each other for 3 weeks, sure, there's FaceTime, but it's not the same. I could've drive to his apartment but my college works are killing me, and I was sick for 4 days last week.
Jeff frowns, seems like he sense my bad thought and pull me to his arm. I cuddle into his arms, immediately.
"Baby, stop those thoughts. I know you feel bad, but it's okay. I'll drive 10 hours if that means I could spend few days with you." He kisses my temple, "And, I couldn't effort thinking of you, putting yourself in danger for almost 4 hours."
"We're in relationship, Jeff. I don't want you to think I don't put an effort into our relationship. I'll drive to yours next weekend." I promise him
He opens his mouth to protest, but I cut him, "Uh huh-" I put my finger on his lips and shake my head, "I'll drive to yours next weekend. And that's that."
He shuts his mouth, giving in, but not without a groan, he knows he couldn't change my mind at all.
"I love you, and your stubborn ass." He mocks
"I love you too, baby cakes." I let out my tongue to mock him back
A ding was heard, and the elevator doors are open. We walk in hand and hand to my apartment door, when something suddenly popped into my head,
I stop and grab Jeff with me. I dig out into my pocket, remembering the thing I put it in my back pocket, "Here." I smile and hand him the silver thing
He freezes, "Wait- you're asking me to move in with you?"
I brush into laughing, "No! I'm giving you my spare key so I won't have to freeze my ass off every time you come visit me."
"Oh." He grabs it from my grip, "Hello kitty? Really? And pink?" He shows me his unamused face
I hold back a laugh, he knows I did it on purpose, "Don't want it? Okay, give it back."
I make a move to take it from his hand, but he quickly dodge it
"Here, the access card." I hand him another card
He smiles and hug me quickly, "I can't wait to move in with you."
He pulls my hand to start walking again.

"It's so cold." Jeff groans for the hundred times. He's already got two duvets all over him and a cup hot choco on his grip
"The heater is on, Jeff. What do you want me to do?" I roll my eyes getting tired of his moaning
"Cuddle." He stated, putting his cup down and opening his arms along with the duvets
This time, my turn to groan and roll over to him. I look around my room, noticing nothing is actually resembling any christmas signs.
"Jeff. I need to do some Christmas shopping." I said
"Hmm. Later." He mumbled and pull me closer to him
"I didn't ask you to come. I could just go alone." I shrugged
His head suddenly popped out from my chest and the duvet. "Uh huh, we're going together. It's gonna be our first Christmas shopping."
"Then get up. I'm bored." I groan, "Our friends will come in a few hours, we have to get up!" I insisted him
"Okay," He groaned as he stood on his feet," I'm gonna get us hoodies."
After awhile of waiting for him, he comes out with a matching red attire with christmas theme on it. "You bought us that?" I laughed
He shrugged, "It's cute."
"Alright, give me it." I grabbed it from his hand and put it on.
With our matching christmas outfits and some comfortable jackets, we're ready to hit the road to the nearest supermarket.
"We need a christmas tree, fairy lights, and some baking ingredients to bake." I listed
"Can we tell them to wear christmas themed attire?" He asked
"That's actually a good idea, i'll inform them." I smiled. and we're arrived at the supermarkets.

After almost 2 hours of baking and decorating, we finally filled the whole room with christmas spirits. We have our tall christmas tree, that almost touched the ceiling, we have tons of fairy lights shining through the room and the window, and cookies all over our table.
My guess, it's gonna be a good night.
"What time is it?" I asked Jeff
"6." He simply replies, "They're gonna be here, anytime soon."
With that being said, my phones ring.
"Hey!" I answered
"Get your ass in here! I'm shivering my ass off!" The voice yelled
"Okay, Jess." I laughed, "Wait a minute." I hang up and run as fast as i could.
"Hey guys!" I yelled as i saw them all gathering. I opened my arms to hug them but they all run passed me to the building
"Wow, i'm happy to see you guys." I sarcastically said
"We're cold!" Alex said
"I'm sorry. We missed you!" Hannah said as she pulled me to her embrace
A second after that, the other guys joined our hugs.
"Where's Jeff?" Justin asked as we get into the elevator
"Baking." I said
"He bakes?" Alex raises his eyebrow
"Meh," I shrugged, "He tried."
We talk for quiet a bit, about our life this pass few months of not seeing each other, Hannah and Clay moved in together last week, no surprise there, they couldn't stay away from each other, and Justin and Jessica already moved in from weeks ago, they're too eager for everything, and Alex, he's seeing a guy from his campus, and if i must say, we're not surprise when he came out to us. We're pretty supportive of him, as long as he's happy.
"Hey dingus!" Jeff yelled as i opened the door. He went to hug Justin first then the rest of the guys.
"Wow, you guys are in christmas spirit, for sure." Jess said, laughing
"Look at yourself!" I laughed. The two couples are wearing matching attire and Alex's wearing green grinch attire
"Where's the food?" Alex groaned
"On the table, grinch."Jeff said
We all sit in the table in front of my enormous window to see the view from 37th floor.
The random chatting was heard, and i couldn't contain my smile. This is the first christmas i feel like home, i feel like i belong here. I have an amazing pack of friends with amazing sense of humor, and i have a perfect boyfriend.
The next few weeks is gonna be the best one. I got to spend it with my family, even not the blood related one. They're still the closest one i got to called.
