"Louis, stop it!" Harry exclaimed.
"L-louee, s-stop it!" Louis copied and giggled. He continued mumbling the same thing under his breath making Harry smile fondly. Harry forgot that Louis was in fact holding a carton of eggs in hands about to drop it.
"Give me the eggs, princess." Harry said softly and extended his arm. Louis giggled and pretended to drop the carton.
"Louis!" Harry said making Louis giggle again and do the mischievous thing again and again. Harry sighed.
"Alright! Don't give me the eggs. And don't talk to daddy." Harry said turning around with a smirk, knowing that it's work. He heard Louis whine behind him.
"D-daddyyyy" He whined and tugged on Harry's shirt. Harry stayed put in his act. Louis called him a few more times but got no response. Then he did what he thought would get his daddy's attention. He threw the carton of egg to the ground and let out a loud wail covering his ears.
"Oh, shit." Harry mumbled underneath his breath.
"Princess? Aw, love. Daddy wasn't mad. He was just acting baby." He picked the boy up and cuddled him closer to his chest.
"D-daddy no luv princess." Louis kept mumbling underneath his breath making Harry coo.
"Daddy loves his princess so much." Harry said and decided to use something to distract his baby since it looks like he's not gonna stop crying anytime soon.
"How about we go and see what Duke is doing? Huh? Where is he?" Harry pretended to act like where their dog is. Harry decided to buy Louis a dog since the boy is gonna be very bored since he's finished with his online university exams. Ms. Perrie doesn't come there anymore. Harry has found some places for Louis to put his mathematics skills to use. He does all of them online. Harry gets calls from people asking to employ Louis. So, he's doing pretty well.
"Ah, here he is!" Harry exclaimed seeing their lay dog laying on the living room floor. He let out a soft bark when he saw Louis' crying figure.
"Let's talk with his. Shall we?" Harry asked. Louis has stopped crying now but still letting out small hiccups.
"Say hello, Lou." Harry said and Louis waved at the dog.

"Are you sure about this, Harry?" Jay asked with a concerned face.
"Yeah, I'm more than sure. I can take care of him and another one. I know I can." Harry said.
"But, baby, taking care of a baby is a lot of work. Are you sure you would be able to do that while taking care of Louis?" Anne asked. Harry nodded.
"Yes, I'm sure. And we have Martha too. And I can always get a babysitter." He said looking at Jay's and Anne's worried faces.
"Alright, okay. Good luck, baby." Jay said and hugged Harry.
"Good luck, love." Anne joined the hug. Louis also squealed and jumped up from his sitting position on the couch to join the hug. Everyone chuckled fondly at his adorableness.
"You ready to go and get a baby, Lou?" Harry asked after pulling away from the hug. Louis nodded enthusiastically making Harry smile.
Harry knew that he's doing the right thing. He just knew that.

"Gosh, he's crying again." Harry mumbled to himself as he got out of the bed for the 20th time that night. He walked into the nursery.
"Aw, Eli, what are these tears for?" He cooed and picked up his 7 months old from his crib. The boy started giggling immediately. Harry sighed knowing that he has just missed his daddy and papa.
"Did you miss me? Huh?" Harry asked tickling the boy's sides. Eli started giggling like mad, making Harry smile.
"How about we go to daddy's and papa's room?" Harry asked already looking around to find the travel cot. When he found it he decided to go and lay Eli next to Louis till he sets it up.
"Louis? Princess? Wake up baby." Harry said softly. Louis groaned but opened his eyes.
"Can you hold Eli for a minute till daddy sets this up?" He asked. Louis nodded enthusiastically. Harry smiled and laid Eli next to Louis.
"Eli!" Louis exclaimed and picked the baby up. Eli made happy squeaking sounds making Louis giggle. Harry smile fondly at the pair and started setting up the cot.
Once done, he took Eli from Louis hands making him whine a bit. He walked around with a little bump in his steps to make Eli fall asleep. After around 20 minutes he successfully got the baby to sleep. He laid him carefully on the travel cot. Louis watched all of this with sleepy eyes.
"Let's sleep." Harry said and laid next to Louis. Louis cuddled closer to Harry's chest.
"N-not sleepy." He mumbled.
"But daddy is exhausted, princess." Harry said and placed a kiss on Louis's head. Louis whined but Harry was quick to shush him, not wanting to wake Eli up.
"Want daddy to sing?" Harry asked, hoping it'd get his princess to sleep. Louis nodded eagerly. Harry chuckled and started singing You're Still The One by Shania Twain.
Only halfway into the song, the one who said that he's not sleepy is fast asleep. Harry smiled and fell asleep cuddling his world to his chest.

2 years later
"Eli, stop poking papa's nose." Harry said for the hundredth time.
"N-nu daddy." Eli giggled and poked Louis' nose again.
"Daddyyy" Louis whined for the millionth time. Harry sighed and gave up on watching the football match.
"Let's go to the backyard!" He exclaimed and picked Eli out of Louis' arms. He lifted the boy so hight making him shriek and giggle. Louis watched all of this with a smile of his own.
"Let's go, Lou." Harry said sitting their 2 years old on his hip and taking a hold of his husband's hand. Louis giggled and skipped away to the backyard with Eli and Harry.
"Okay, do whatever you want." Harry said and placed Eli on the ground. Eli giggled and waddled away, shouting ''wingies, 'wingies'. Louis covered his ears a little but didn't throw a fit. Harry smiled at his husband's progress.
"Let's sit here." Harry said and sat down on a chair in the back porch. Louis sat on his lap and laid his head against Harry's chest. Harry started humming out of habit.
"Sleepy daddy." Louis mumbled. Harry smiled fondly and started stroking Louis' hair.
"Then sleep, princess." He said softly. Louis wiggled around a little and got more comfortable on Harry's lap. After a little he fell asleep.
Harry watched as their 2 years old swing happily and then looked at the sleeping beauty in his hands. He got the whole life ahead of him planned. He wouldn't change any of this for the world. He wanted this and he still wants this. There were lots of bumps in the road but he never gave up on his journey and he would never.
"Your little difference is inseparable. Because that's what makes you who you are, baby." He paused a little to admire his husband. "I wouldn't change the way you are for the world." He mumbled and kissed his sleeping princess's head.
