Adam threw his brightly colored companion onto the ground. With a cry, he yelled. "Why won't you speak to me?!"
After a moment of silence, Adam fell down to his knees next to his orange. "I'm sorry for yelling, Orange. I'm sorry for stopping you from reaching your dream, to be eaten by a person. I will stand in your way no longer. I just want you to know something." He scooped the little orange up in his hands and raised it up to his face.
"I love you, more than anything." Adam placed a kiss on the oranges head, then set it down on the counter.
Moments later, his sister walker in. Amelia raised her eyebrow at Adam and shrugged, grabbing the orange and quickly peeling it, before walking out of the room.
"Goodbye, my love." Adam whispered as a tear fell from his eye.
"What?" Amelia asked.
"I didn't say anything!" Adam yelled, running out of the room and up to his room to write the next chapter of his Daily Posts.
