AN: Hey guys! Thanks for reading this far ;). I also forgot to mention one little thing about this fan fiction. If you haven't noticed Phoebe is by far my FAVVVV but anyways..as you know (If you've seen the show friends) Phoebe is weird and has her funny beliefs. But I personally relate to phoebe and don't necessarily see her as weird, I see her as brave. So maybe thats why she's not translating as weird in this fan fiction. ANYAYS hope you enjoy this my chapter, I think its my fav chapter so far :)

Phoebe was getting ready in the bathroom. It was around 7:00am on December 25th. She went to put on her ugly Christmas sweater when she noticed she looked bloated. "Hey Joey, can you come here for a minute?"
Joey walked into their bedroom bathroom to see Phoebe in her bra. He slyly smiled and went to kiss Phoebe. "Oh special Christmas sex? Ok-" Joey was cut off by Phoebe.
"No Joey, I'm changing, not enticing you. Do I look fatter to you?" Phoebe asked sympathetically cupping her lower stomach.
Joey was thrown off by Phoebes sincerity because he knew how dangerous of a question this was. "No Pheebs, you look the same to me." Although deep inside, he noticed Phoebe, stomach was bulging. Then it hit him. "PHOEBE OH MY GOD."
"Stop yelling," Phoebe got irritated and plugged her ears. "What?!"
"You don't think you could be... pregnant?" Joey tried to ask as sincere as possible so Phoebe wouldn't yell at him.
"No, how could I be-OH MY GOD! It all makes sense." Suddenly Phoebe felt like she was going to pass out, she sat on the toilet and started recounting all her symptoms. "Throwing up, sore boobs, lifting heavy things and getting back pain, my snappy attitude... Joey I think I'm pregnant." Phoebe couldn't help but smile.
Joey stood there dumbfounded. Speechless. "Are you sure Pheebs? Let's go to the drug store around the corner and pick up a pregnancy test to be sure." Joey couldn't help but smile too, it happened so fast but he was excited and ready to be a father.
With this, they knew they would be a little late to Monica and Chandlers but they would understand considering the circumstances. They walked hand in hand to the drug store about 10 minutes away.
As soon as they got home Phoebe rushed into the bathroom quickly followed by Joey.
"Um hey, can I have a little privacy?" Phoebe chuckled as she noticed Joey came in the restroom with her.
"OH yeah, sorry I'm just so excited!" Joey couldn't help but bounce up and down a little.
"I know me too honey, I'll call you in when I'm done." Phoebe pushed Joey out the door.
About 1 minute later, Phoebe opened the door to Joey standing there unmoved from when she pushed him out.
"Well?" Joey asked.
"Not yet Joey, I literally just peed on the stick... We have to wait for the lines to pop up on the test."
Joey looked at the stick sitting on the counter. "Well you better clean that counter when your done." He said motioning to the test.
"Yeah no shit-oh my gosh it's time to check!" Phoebe got really nervous all of a sudden. "Joey, what if it's negative?"
"Oh Pheebs, it won't be, I promise. Check right now!" Joey pushed her towards the counter where the stick was sitting.
"No you look!" She covered her eyes, picked up the stick and handed it to Joey.
"What makes you think I can look?!" Joey shoved the test back towards her.
"Oh I know, we will bring it to Monica and Chandlers and Rachel and Monica can tell me what it says!!!" Joey and Phoebe both liked this plan so they gathered the food and gifts they prepared and started walking towards their house. As son as they reached their lawn Phoebe turned to Joey and pulled out the stick from her sweater pocket.
"Ok, we are ridiculous, I'm going to check now." Phoebe looked down at the test.
Phoebe looked back up at Joey with a single tear starting to fall off her cheek, soon followed by many more.
"Ahh it's going to be okay Pheebs, we will try tonight after the party okay?"Joey pulled her into a hug.
Phoebe let Joey hold her for a minute before she whispered in his ear, "We are going to be parents."
Joey practically threw Phoebe out of his arms and dropped everything he was holding. Including food (shocking lol). "WHAT!" He couldn't contain his excitement and started jumping up and down. Soon Phoebe joined him.
Inside, Ross, Rachel, Emma, Moncia, Chandler, Jack and Erika were sitting on the floor gathered around the Christmas tree opening gifts in their sweaters and pajama pants.
Monica pulled Rachel aside while the guys and kids were opening gifts. "Don't you think it's rude how Phoebe and Joey are 15 minutes late? I mean they literally live 5 minutes away, don't you think they would have the decency to call?" Monica had fumes coming out of her head.
"Calm down honey, I'm sure it's nothing. Either they are having their annual Christmas morning sex or Joey couldn't leave the house without eating. You know them." Rachel laughed at what she said about the Tribbiani's but it was so true.
"Yeah I guess your right." The girls turned their attention back to their family's surrounding the Christmas tree.
"I guess that's all the presents kids" Ross told the twins and Emma.
"But there's 2 more under the tree dada!" Emma said to Ross with puppy eyes.
Oh sweetly, those are presents from our family to Uncle Joey and Aunt Pheebs, but they haven't gotten here yet. When they get here you can open your gifts from them." Chandler told Emma for Ross.
As the kids ran upstairs to play with their new toys, the adults friends moved to the couch. that's when they heard 2 people screaming outside their house. Monica turned around and opened the blinds too see Phoebe and Joey jumping up and down like bunnies on their lawn.
"What do you think their so excited about?" Ross stared at them through the window with a confused look.
"I don't know but their asses will be sorry they're late." And with this Monica stormed through the front door outside towards the happy couple. The three sat inside watching from a distance not wanting to get involved with Monica's rage. And all of a sudden they saw Monica stop yelling at them, now hopping with them bringing them into a tight hug.
"We are missing out on something! I wanna go see!" Rachel ran outside quickly followed by Ross and Chandler. Monica turned around to face the other 3.
"PHOEBES PREGNANT!" The whole gang joined in a huge group hug and congratulated the Tribbiani's.
"Sorry we are late Monica, we had the suspicion I was pregnant right before we came over so we ran over to the drug store really quick to pick up a test."
Monica brought Phoebe in for another hug. "Oh Phoebe don't even worry about it, I'm so happy for you too! Let's go inside, being out in the snow must be too cold for you and the baby" Monica pulled Phoebe's arm into the house.
Once everyone got inside, they made themselves comfortable on the couch. The kids started opening Phoebe and Joey's gifts, and the 2 opened theirs from everyone else.
"So Pheebs, how far along are you?" Monica started getting excited again.
"We actually don't know." With this Phoebe lifted up her holiday sweater and revealed her bulging stomach to the group that was not noticeable through her sweater. "However far along this is." Everyone gasped including Joey.
"Hey, you said I wasn't fat this morning!" Phoebe frowned at her husband while self consciousley putting her sweater back down.
"Phoebe, let me see your stomach again. I've been pregnant before and you are definitely at least 4 months...How have you not known your pregnant...?" Rachel looked concerned.
Phoebe lifted her shirt for Rachel to inspect. "Well me and Joey weren't actually trying to have a baby, I must have skipped my birth control by accident."
"But what about your period Pheebs! How can you go 4 months without your period and not realize it!" Monica said.
"I don't know, I thought my body was giving me a break hehe." Phoebe giggled. "But it doesn't matter anymore guys, I'm going to be a mom and I'm happier than ever!"
Everyone group hugged Phoebe once more before everyone got up to go have Christmas breakfast. They talked about their lives and ate together around Monica's new dining room table. A few minutes after everyone had eaten and moved back to the living room, there was a knock at the door. Chandler opened the door to a group of elderly women carolers asking to perform. Everyone gathered around the door to listen to the beautiful voices of the carolers. Joey and Phoebe stood to the side. Joey walked behind Phoebe and wrapped his arms around her and laid his hands on her bulge.
"We ca probably go to the doctors tonight and see what gender it is. Im sure they'd give us an appointment. immediately considering our circumstance." Joey whispered into Phoebes ear so he wouldn't disturb others around him listening to the carolers.
"Oh yeah, lets do that. I really hope its a girl. I have some cute names in mind." Phoebe smiled and put her hands on top of Joey. "I can't wait till it starts to kick, that was my favorite part about having the triplets, seeing them move around inside me. Its so beautiful Joey."
"Well then I guess ill watch your stomach every night before we go to bed if its as beautiful as you." Joey winked and pulled Phoebe even in closer then they were before.
"This is the best Christmas ever." Phoebe laid her head back against the nook of Joey's neck and shoulder. They swayed to the rhythm of the music and got lost in the beautiful voices of the carolers.

Phoebe was laying on the yellow couch in the living room with her shirt up staring at her stomach. Joey just walked in the room.
"Whatcha doin' Pheebs?" Joey lifted her head and sat under her on the couch.
"Oh nothing, Im still in disbelief that Im pregnant, I'm so happy babe." Phoebe looked up and smiled.
"Well we should start heading to the doctors. We are going to Beth Israel which is back in the city." Joey looked at his watch then back at his wife. He couldn't stop smiling.
He helped Phoebe off the couch and just held her there for minute, staring in her gorgeous green apple eyes. Phoebe was blushing and that was Joeys sign to swoop in for a long, sweet kiss. Phoebe broke the kiss breathlessly wanting more but knew they had the doctors appointment waiting. Joey walked Phoebe over to the door with his arm around her. Now that she was carrying his baby, he had to protect 2 significant people in his life. He couldn't be anymore happier with the way his life has become.

AN: Ok so Im going to end the chapter here because I wanna save the doctors appointment for the next chapter and plus it would make this chapter HELLA long. Stay tuned for more Joey and Pheebs!
