my eyes are heavy when i open them. to my surprise, michael is gone and replaced with a note that says, 'had to go early. you need your sleep. ashton didn't call.'
groaning, i mange to get up and stumble to the shower. i pull off my shirt and boxers and turn the water on.
"yeah, okay. he's in the shower. talk to me," i hear calum say through the paper thin walls of our flat. "why can't you just come back? well then tell him. tell us, dammit." he takes a long pause. "he loves you. he just wants you to be here. just don't hurt each other anymore than you have. alright. bye."
quickly, i get into the shower before i have time to run out of the run and ask about the phone call.
what does he need to tell me? why can't he? why doesn't he trust me?
