the doorbell rings and i groan, getting up from my spot on the couch. calum and i slept there last night because i didn't want to sleep in my bed without ashton.
i walk over to the door, not caring that i was only in my boxers because who fucking knocks on your door at seven am?
i'm immediately pulled from my sleepy state when i see michael standing there. he smiles sadly.
"hey."
"where's ashton?"
he sighs quietly. i let him into the house before he answers. "he kicked me out. he told me to leave."
"why?" i ask.
"because i told him the truth."
"what truth?"
"that he needs to get his shit together because it's killing both of you."
