"C'mon fat girl we have to get you to your doctor's appointment." Aalysia said taking the container of ice cream out of Kamille's hand.
Kamille was now five months and everyone was more than excited to find out the sex of the baby. Although the last two months had been hard for everyone they were trying to be as positive as possible for Kamille's sake and the baby seemed to bring everyone closer being that everyone was checking on her nonstop twenty four seven.
After all the things went down Aalysia decided to move in with kamille to help her out and be there for her throughout the pregnancy which Kamille greatly appreciated.
"My feet hurt so bad." Kamille groaned bending her leg back to put her shoe on. The whole journey of pregnancy was a beautiful thing but Kamille was sure she wasn't doing it ever again. From the constant morning sickness to the feet swelling and just being always irritated she was over it already.
"Why didn't you just put on your house shoes?" Aalysia asked
"I want to be cute." Kamille whined "Im already fat." She pouted
"You're not fat you're pregnant." Aalysia laughed helping her up
"I can't even see my cooch." Kamille whispered as they walked out of the unit
"I bet. Whatever is in here is a big one." Aalysia said walking out the side door. It was true, Kamille was huge to be five months but the weight was filling her out as well so she did look good.
"I know I just hope it's a boy." Kamille sighed knowing she didn't need a girl
"Nah hope it's a girl. She gone be my stank." Aalysia cooed
"Well I guess we'll find out. Im going to a new doctor today so hopefully this goes well." Kamille said pulling out of her parking space.
The two arrived to the office in under thirty minutes being that Kamille was speeding because she had to pee so bad.
"Hurry mama I'll sign you in." Aalysia said as they both got out the car
As they entered the office Her mom, Ms Patrice, Lamar, Mr Steve and everyone else sat occupying the space.
"Hey everybody." Aalysia smiled walking over to Lamar
"Hey baby." Nana Rafa said sitting in the corner
"Why she aint do one of them reveal things." Chance asked looking over at Aalysia
"She said she just wanted to keep it simple." She shrugged
"Hey guys." Kamille smiled walking out
"Hey." Everyone said getting up to hug her only to be blocked by her belly
"You have a big boy in there." Ms. Patrice said rubbing her stomach as Kamille started to feel kicks everywhere causing her to move.
"Yeah he sure knows his grandma." She laughed
"Ms. King" The Nurse said calling her back just as she sat down.
"Are you serious." Kamille mumbled as Lamar laughed finding it so hilarious
Mr. Steve helped her up as everyone followed her to the back
"Big family." The nurse commented walking into the small room. "Mom the doctor will be right with you."
"I bet yall it's a girl."
"Nah dog that's a little nigga. If that's a girl she a chunky mufu-"
"Language lamar she can hear you."
"Whatever it know god daddy lamar the coldest mufu on the planet." Lamar smirked
"You his cousin you aint no damn god father." Chance laughed
"Oh so you on god daddy patrol now nigga?"
"Nah. I just know Im the god daddy." Chance boasted
"See nah both yall wrong it's clearly me." Jay inputted
"Kamille!" They all said looking at her
"Oh no don't put me in yall drama." She laughed walking back in after being weighed
"Whateva' I know it's me." Lamar said sitting on the counter as the doctor walked in
"Wow uh-um hello Ms. King." The doctor said basically squeezing into the room
"Hello Im sorry about the crowd I couldn't keep them away." Kamille smiled
"I understand." He said returning the smile
"Bitchhhhhh he is fine." Aalysia whispered in Kamille's ear
"I see!"
"Could you pull your shirt up?" Dr. Phen asked Kamille
"Did I miss it?" Emeria asked busting in the room while hitting Chance with the door
"You damn sure aint miss my head." Chance said rubbing his head
"Im sorry." She squealed
"So Im just going to check and make sure everything is okay then we will tell you guys what you all are here for."
"So how has things been?" Dr. Phen asked applying the gel to Kamille's stomach
"Fine the baby is just very active."
"Well that's good and bad." The doctor replied maneuvering around her stomach.
"Baby A is just fine." Dr Phen said moving around to the other side of her stomach
"Whatchu' mean baby A mista'?" Steven said looking at the doctor with his eyebrow raised
"Well Im picking up on two-"
"Oh I know you fucking lyin." Kamille said sitting up a bit trying to look closer
"No ma'am" The doctor said stopping "And this here is baby B" He laughed
"Oooooh I Patrice we got two!" Ms. King said dancing.
"How did my other doctor not pick up on this?"
"I cant really answer that but that answers your question to why did you gain so much weight so fast." he said rubbing Kamille's arm
"So for what you guys have been waiting for." Dr Phen said looking around the room only to be met by a room of mugs
"Just do ya damn job." Lamar said squinting his eyes
"Baby A appears to be a boy!" He said the room was filled with a bunch of I told you so's and I knew it "Baby B is a girl congratulations mom." Dr. Phen said looking up at Kamille who was crying
"What's wrong mama?" Aalysia said rubbing Kamille's hand
"I just wish Ace could be here to experience this with me." She said in a full blown sob
"I'll give you guys some time alone." The doctor said handing Aalysia the ultrasound pictures and wiping the gel off Kamille's stomach
"Look baby he's always going to be here with you!" Ms. Patrice said hugging her
"You graduate in two weeks baby he would be so proud of you! Look you're carrying his big head ass babies going to school and working!" Ms. King said wiping her eyes
"Besides you got us." Lamar said putting his arm around the boys who all held goofy obnoxious grins on their faces.
"We are here for you no matter what." Nana Rafa said getting out of her chair "It's hard for us too but you mama have to be strong for those two in there." She said pointing at her belly
"I know." Kamille said sniffling "I appreciate you guys so much."
"Alright then." Emeria said
"Can we go eat now?"
"We just ate before we left the house fat." Aalysia said
"Oh I forgot." Kamille said scooting off of the table.
"We all gone swing by the diner." Lamar said kissing Aalysia on the forehead and saying his goodbyes to everyone.
Kamille and Aalysia left ten minutes after everyone else so that they made sure Kamille wouldn't almost pee on herself again.
Entering the diner they seen everyone made it there already and some were already eating.
"Aye bruh watch out!" Lamar whined as Kamille took some of his chicken
"You will be okay." She laughed
"Kamille we need to holla at you anyways."
"Okay." She said following behind Lamar
As they got to the back Ms. Patrice and Mr. Steve were already in the office.
"What's going on?" Kamille asked sitting in the chair in front of the desk
"We just needed to talk to you about some things." Ms. Patrice
"First off we are letting you off for the rest of your pregnancy." Mr. Steve said "We don't want you around here working."
"Okay but I want to. I don't have anything else to do." Kamille replied
"Baby those babies aint letting that happen. We are just looking out for you three, you'll still make your money but we just don't want you working like you have." Mr Steve said
"You fine with that?" Ms. Patrice asked
"I guess." Kamille shrugged
"Alright so a while ago Ace gave me this and he said if some ever happen to him to give it to you." Lamar said handing Kamille an envelope
"It's the code to his safe at the house. I don't know what's in there but it's yours now just make sure you take care of them babies." He said looking at her
"Okay." Kamille said uneasily. She hadn't been to the condo since Ace left them and she honestly didn't want to she knew that would only make her emotional. "I think I'll just swing by there today since it's closer to here." She sighed
"Are you coming over again?" Ms. Patrice asked happily
"I don't know mama."She laughed since she'd gotten to a point where she could barely do anything she was always in between her mom and The Kareems house. She didn't want to make Aalysia feel like she always had to be there so something she had to make her go spend time with her man.
"My mom is shopping now as we speak I think she wanted me to come over to see what she was doing with the nursery at her house."
"Ooh. We can do ours next week." Ms. Patrice said dancing "Whenever you're free call me and we will go shopping alright?"
"Yes ma'am." Kamille laughed attempting to get up
Lamar found it funny watching her attempt to push herself out the seat so he just wanted to see how long it would take her to get up.
"Help me fool!" Kamille said looking at him crazily
"Alright alright." He said walking over holding his hands up in surrender.
