After Haymitch told me that I'm going to help the people I was born with and played with I was totally ready to go.
Me, Haymitch, the pilot, and two bodyguards load up; along with the nurse I saw earlier. She was lugging some medical supplies on board.
"They're for the Districts!" she kept repeating over and over if we eyed her.
And last but not least Peata was loaded up.
We exchange some tentative "Hi's and "Hello's". I can't talk about our past because the doctor and therapist told me to refrain from any real in-depth talking about either of our history together.
"How long until we get to District 12?" I ask Haymitch.
"Not long."
I looked out the window and saw a spark in the distance. "What is that?" I was starting to get nervous as it came towards us.
"Probably a brush fire or something." Haymitch said nonchalantly.
It was so close I could make out a point in the flames. It dawned on my too late what it was.
"It's a rocket! Get do-"
As the rocket hit the plane my screams were lost amongst the chaos and I blacked out.
