The next morning, Haeyoung went over to cook breakfast for the BTS members but as soon as she walked into their apartment, She noticed everyone was already up and Jin was busy running around in the kitchen. Startled, Haeyoung quickly walked towards the kitchen but suddenly Hoseok stopped her by getting in her way.
"Oh-ho, my sweet hope. Where are you going?" Hoseok asked as he pulled her away from the kitchen.
"To the kitchen to help cook breakfast? I didn't realize I was late," Haeyoung replied feeling confused as she was being dragged away.
Hoseok shook his finger and shook his head at Haeyoung. He dragged her and seated her at the table and smiled cutely at Haeyoung.
Haeyoung looked away as her face turned bright red at the way he was staring at her.
Hoseok squeezed her hands and replied sweetly, "Jin has it all under control. My job is to have you sit here and relax."
Haeyoung pulled her hands away from his grasp and stutters, "But, But..."
Taehyung plopped down in the chair next to Haeyoung and winked at her as he puts a finger up to her lips to shush her, "No buts, Noona."
Haeyoung felt even more confused and frustrated to why they were all acting this way towards her, especially Taehyung. He knew about her past. She thought she succeeded at letting them know that she had no plans of becoming friends with them. Her relationship with them were strictly work.
A few minutes later, the rest of the members except for Jungkook came and sat down at the kitchen table as they placed the food Jin had been cooking on the table. Suddenly a bowl of seaweed soup was set in front of Haeyoung. Surprised and shocked, she looked up towards Jin. He shrugged nonchalantly and smiled happily, "Happy birthday, Noona."
Haeyoung started to feel overwhelmed with emotions. She felt tears brimming at the edge of her eyes threatening to roll down her cheeks. Then unexpectedly Jungkook walks in with a cake with lit up candles and they all started singing happy birthday.
All at once, she couldn't control her tears anymore as they rushed down her face. Haeyoung felt warmth of their hearts as she looked at one member to the next. She spent so much time building up a wall because she didn't want to be emotional attached to them. But how could they break it all down with such a small gesture?
"How did you guys know?" Haeyoung whispered as kept her eyes on the cake.
"Noona, we're a family and you are a part of our family. It's our job to know when it is someone's birthday," Namjoon grinned widely with his dimpled cheeks.
"Oh but I don't deserve this after how I've treated you guys so rudely," Haeyoung said regretfully after she realized how closed off she has been.
"Noona, we still want to treat you like a family member. So let's leave the past in the past and look forward to the future," Yoongi said with a bright smile.
"Noona, hurry and make a wish!" Jimin exclaimed excitedly as he clapped his hands.
Haeyoung closed her eyes and made a wish. A wish that she could really stay a part of this family who didn't give up on her even though she was rude and cold hearted towards them. She slowly blew out the candles and smiled.
Jungkook's heart fluttered at how much more beautiful Haeyoung became as she smiled for the first time since she's been here. He couldn't help but exclaimed excitedly as he pointed towards her, "Oh! Noona smiled!"
Haeyoung looked towards Jungkook and he beamed adorably with his bunny teeth at her. She felt her heart fluttered as he winked at her. Her face turned bright red as she looked away feeling embarrassed. She could hear Jin slap Jungkook's arm and yelled at him, "Don't embarrass noona like that."
After breakfast, Haeyoung was cleaning the kitchen as the BTS members were getting ready to leave for their dance practice. Jungkook waited for his hyungs to leave the apartment before he quietly approached Haeyoung. He didn't want his hyungs to make fun of him.
He cleared his throat to get Haeyoung's attention. She turned around surprised to see Jungkook still there. He shyly handed her a small wrapped gift. Haeyoung looked at him shocked, "What's this?"
"A birthday gift," he said softly, keeping eyes down to the floor. He was too nervous to look up at her because he didn't know how she was going to react.
Haeyoung slowly placed her hands behind her back and said gently, "Oh, you didn't have to."
"I know but I wanted to," he shyly smiled as grabbed her hands and placed the gift in her hand. Then with his heart beating fast, he quickly ran out of the apartment before she could say anything else to him.
Haeyoung slowly opened the gift given to her. It was a silver bracelet with her name engraved on it and a heart at the end. Haeyoung gasped at the gift and felt confused to why he would give her something so beautiful.
She didn't know if she should accept the gift from him. She placed the bracelet back into the box and took it back to her apartment. She knew she would have to talk to him about it.

Later that night Haeyoung received a text notification from Jae Hoon.
For the past two months, the members have shown that they deserve a day worth of rest, so PD Bang is allowing the boys to have tomorrow off. So he said since you've worked hard for the past two months, you can have a day off as well. - Jae Hoon Oppa.
"ASA!" Haeyoung shouted with joy as she jumped up and down to celebrate. Her plans for the next day were to sleep in and stay in my pajamas all day. Or so she thought...
The next morning, Haeyoung heard the door bell ring and loud knocking on the door. She squinted and looked at my phone. It was seven o'clock in the morning. She groaned with displeasure and rolled off her bed. She slowly walked over to the front door as the knocking continued.
When Haeyoung finally opened the door, standing in front of her with his cute innocent eye smile was Jimin with Taeyung who half smiled embarrassedly at her and Jungkook who cautiously peeked behind the two of them.
"Noona! Baegopa," Jimin whined cutely as clutched his stomach and pouted at her.
Haeyoung shook her head and motioned for him to go away as she yawned, "Nah uh. I have a day off."
Jimin elbowed Taehyung on the arm. All of sudden Taehyung clutched his stomach and pouted, "Me too. Baegopa."
Haeyoung closed her eyes in confusion to what they were doing. Was she dreaming? Are they trying to torture her for being cold towards them?
Jimin cleared his throat and gave Jungkook a deadly stare as he motioned with his head at him. Haeyoung watched as Jungkook sighed and slowly laid his hand on his stomach. He gave her a sad puppy face look, "Noona... Baegopa."
Haeyoung felt her heart skip at a beat when Jungkook acted cute. More like she thought she was going to die.
Jimin pouted again and this time he stomped his feet like a little child, "Noonaaaaa... Baegopa....."
Suddenly she couldn't help herself and started laughing at how silly these three guys were. As soon as Haeyoung started laughing, Taehyung and Jungkook's faces turned red. She motioned for them to come into her apartment and Jimin starts jumping up and down excitedly.
"Make yourself at home while I quick go wash my face and brush my teeth and then I'll make you guys something to eat," Haeyoung walks towards the bathroom.
After Haeyoung went to the bathroom, Jimin was walking around looking her pictures. Jungkook followed him and noticed that most of her pictures were pictures of a beautiful young lady and a child around five or six years old and then there weren't any other pictures of the beautiful young lady.
"I wonder if this is Noona with her Omma when she was a child," Jimin asked as he looked at a photo, "Because Noona resembles a lot like her and she's very pretty just like her Omma."
"Oh! Noona is close with Manager Kwon?" Jungkook asked when he saw a picture of when Jae Hoon and Haeyoung were young and still wearing their high school uniforms. There were other pictures of Haeyoung with Jae Hoon and a lady who looked she was Jae Hoon's mom.
Taehyung came over and looked at the photo, "From what I remembered is that Manager Kwon's Omma adopted Noona."
Jungkook nodded and continued to look at other pictures. As he was walking past the bathroom door, it unexpectedly opened and he found his face inches away from Haeyoung's face.
He held his breath as they stared at each other for a quick few seconds. Jungkook could feel his heart suddenly started beating fast and then as if she could hear it, Haeyoung quickly took a step back.
Jungkook hastily turned to walk away and took a deep breath as he went to sit on the couch. Haeyoung kept her head down and quickly went to the kitchen to start cooking breakfast. Jungkook watched enviously as Jimin joked around with Haeyoung and helped her set the table for breakfast.
"So did someone want to go get the other members?" Haeyoung asked looking at Taehyung as she avoided looking at Jungkook.
"Um, they had decided to sleep in today until their heart's content," Taehyung answered as he took a seat at the table.
"Those were my plans too..." Haeyoung grumbled annoyingly as she place food on the table.
Jimin gave Haeyoung a cheesy smile and bumped her shoulder, "Ey, Noona, aren't you happy to see us?"
"Hm, I would have to think about that because sleeping in is life. Besides why are you guys up so early?" Haeyoung said as she sat down next to Jimin.
Taehyung sat next to Jungkook and answered, "Jimin and I were going to go shopping after we eat and Jungkook just wanted to tag along to your apartment to eat because you know, food is life."
Jimin and Taehyung started laughing as Jungkook scowled at Taehyung's comment. Haeyoung's eyes briefly met his and warmly smiled at Jungkook. Jungkook couldn't help it but felt himself melting at the sight of her smile.
