Ryan's POV:

Following behind Adrian's broad frame silently, we somehow landed ourselves in a park near the city in the central.

"I'm sorry for dragging you out so abruptly, Ryan." He apologised while letting out a long sigh as we took a seat on a bench after walking aimlessly for around an hour.

"Don't worry, Adrian. Are you feeling better now?" He nodded with shut eyes as he tilted his head back while taking deep breaths. I wonder what got him so enraged? He never behaved like this before.

Scanning around the place, my eyes spotted a small cozy-looking cafe not far away from us. Something chocolatey should do the trick I guess? "Adrian?"

"Yes beautiful?" He gazed down at me with warm eyes while giving me a soft smile.

"Want to grab some chocolates?" Pointing to the cafe, he chuckled lightly at my suggestion before nodding eagerly.

"Let's go then." Standing up, he held his hand out for me as I stared at him, unsure what to do. He just shrugged before taking my hand in his and pulling me to his side.

"Why are we holding hands Adrian?"

"Don't we do it all the time when we were younger? I miss the feeling you give me when I'm with you." He said like it was the most natural thing to do as we headed in the cafe's direction.

"Ohhh...I see..." Walking beside him quietly, I took in the peace and tranquillity of the place as I enjoyed the warmth radiating off Adrian's frame. If only this can last forever...I wouldn't mind at all.

Adrian's POV:

Entering the cafe, we got hit by a wave of warmth and a strong aroma of chocolate. Mhmmm...just what I needed. Turning over to Ryan, realisation struck me hard when I realised that he hasn't taken his dinner yet.

Shit...I was so coped up with my feelings, I forgot that he hadn't ate at all. "Ryan, can you go and find us a seat? I'll order something for us." Nodding, he walked over to the corner of the cafe before staring out of the glass wall. He's so beautiful...taking my phone out, I took a quick snap before walking over to the counter to order.

"Good evening, can I have two hot chocolates, one avocado BLT croissant and one chocolate lava cake?"

"Of course. Anything else for you Sir?"

"That's all for now. Thanks."

"That will be $15.30." Handing him a twenty, I stood by the counter as I watched Ryan enjoy the outside view. I think my view is way much better.

"Are we going back after this?" Ryan asked curiously as he finished his last bit of his croissant.

8pm...dad will still be awake... hmm... let's see...oh! I know. "Would you want to catch a movie? There's a private movie room not far from here. We can take a taxi there if you don't mind."

"Okay. What movie though?" He nodded eagerly before dialling for a cab.

"Um...I'll let you choose." His eyes lit up slightly as he gawked at me in excitement.

"Really?!"

"Absolutely." He grinned widely before finishing up his hot chocolate which isn't hot already hurriedly.

"Shall we go now, beautiful?" He smiled brightly before nodding.

"Let's." His smile is the most gorgeous thing to see. I would do anything to make him smile like that daily.

Ryan's POV:

At the end of the movie, I couldn't help but wonder how does it feel like to have a family...I never had a family since...I have no idea...I couldn't even remember how my parents look like or why was I even.... abandoned... what did I do to make them not want me?

"What's wrong beautiful? You're crying..." Adrian asked worriedly as he wiped my tears away which I didn't even knew had fallen.

"A-Adrian?"

"Yes beautiful?"

"How does it feel like to have a family?"

"To me, having a family means having you, Trisha and dad with me. You and Trisha may not be related to me by blood but Trish is like a mum to me and you are the one that I've came to love and want to protect. You two mean the world to me and I must say that I couldn't be luckier to have met the two of you. Without the two of you, my family will never be complete. I love you Ryan, I really do. As a family member and as a man, my love for you will never change." He said sincerely while staring deep into my eyes.

Bringing me into his arms, I buried myself deeper into his embrace, bathing in his warmth which never failed to make me feel safe and wanted. Breathing in his comforting scent, I calmed my wildly beating heart down as he wrapped his arms around my frame securely.

"Thank you Adrian. For treating me as one of your family."

"No problem beautiful. You're everything to me." He smiled down warmly as he stroked my cheek tenderly with his thumb.

Adrian's POV:

Gazing down at my beloved who's currently snuggled against my frame unknowingly, my heart constricted when his vulnerable look resurfaced in my mind. I wonder if he felt that he wasn't loved by anyone since the start...I wonder if this is a good chance to confess my feelings again...

Should I?

"Beautiful?"

"Yes?" He looked up at me with large innocent eyes, making me suck in a breath.

"Can you close your eyes? I want to try something." He glanced at me hesitantly before nodding silently.

"Push me away if you don't like it okay?" He nodded once again calmly with closed eyes as he sat in front of me patiently.

Closing in slowly, I press my lips against his softly before licking his lips lightly, waiting for any signs of rejection only to see him frozen on the spot. Shit...did I over step the line?

Pulling back swiftly, he opened his eyes gradually, staring at me in shock as he raised his hand up to touch his lips shakily. Shit. I screwed up. I screws up big time. "I'm...I-I'm so sorry Ryan. I didn't mean to-"

Before I can even make up an excuse, I got pushed down onto the sofa-bed and a pair of soft plump lips pressed against mine hard, leaving me stunned as I lay under Ryan's frame. "You stole my first kiss..." He stated seriously before climbing off me, letting me sit back up.

"I'm s-sorry. I didn't know what got over me." He remained quiet as I tried to explain myself. But...he kissed me back...does that mean that he is finally accepting me? "R-Ryan? Does that mean that y-you accept...me?" I question him with high hopes as he shrugged lightly.

"M-Maybe? I...yeah...but-" He stuttered shyly as he averted his gaze away from me. That's all I have to know.

Pushing him back onto the soft material, I slammed my lips with his fiercefully, pulling him closer to me as we fought for dominance. Pulling away to catch our breath, I gazed deep into his eyes before popping the question.

"Will you be my boyfriend, Ryan?" He paused for a while as he stared at me in daze.

"I...I will." He confirms, making my heart skip a beat in glee. I feel like I'm in heaven.

"Thank you beautiful. You will not regret this." Finally I got him. After so long...but it's all worth it. Everything is worth it for him.
