Will has felt absolutely awful for the past four days. He has a horrendous sinus infection and he just took his antibiotics for the day. He has no appetite and feels like crap.
Will is home with Benji, Coralei and Theodore this Saturday. RJ was called in for a meeting and will be back in a few hours.
Coralei and Theodore are sitting together while Benji is playing on his Nintendo 3DS.
Will is feeling really dizzy and he tries to get up. He walks a few steps and collapses, startling Benji and Dobby. He luckily doesn't hit his head on anything.
"Daddy? Daddy!" Benji says as he runs over to Will.
Benji tries to wake Will up by shaking him and touching his face. Will is knocked out.
Benji rolls Will on his side, because he remembered RJ telling him about helping people if they don't feel well. Rolling them on their side can help them breathe better.
Benji waits a minute to see if Will wakes up and he doesn't. Benji runs over to the coffee table and grabs Will's iPhone, quickly dialing 911.
After two rings, the operator answers.
Operator: "911, what is your emergency?"
Benji: "Um um. Hi. I need help."
Operator: "Hi there, what do you need help with, little guy?"
Benji: "My Daddy fell down. He has been sick with a cold and he just got medicine yesterday."
Operator: "Okay, what is your name little guy?"
Benji: "My name is Benjamin."
Operator: "How old are you, Benjamin?"
Benji: "I'm six!"
Operator: "Alright, Benjamin. Can you tell me if your Daddy is breathing? Go put your finger near his nose and feel if you feel air coming out."
Benji walks over to Will and checks if Will is breathing. He puts his finger near Will's nose and he feels air.
Benji: "He is breathing!"
Operator: "That's good. Is he awake?"
Benji: "No, his eyes are closed!"
Operator: "Okay, bud. We are sending a ambulance out to your house right now. I am going to stay on the phone with you until they come. Do you know your address? If you don't that's okay."
Benji tells the operator his address and even what color his house is.
Operator: "Thank you for telling me the color of your house! That will help the ambulance drivers out a lot. Are you home alone?"
Benji: "No, I'm here with my baby sister, baby brother and dog."
Operator: "I'm glad you aren't alone. Are you and your siblings home alone, Benjamin?"
Benji: "Yes, we are alone! My Papi isn't home, he's at work."
Operator: "Okay, sweetie, an ambulance is on their way. A police officer is coming as well because I don't want you alone with your siblings. Will you go unlock the door so the paramedics and police officer can come in?"
Benji: "Yes, I can!"
Benji unlocks the door and walks back over to Will, Coralei and Theodore. Dobby is sniffing Will and is very concerned.
Operator: "Is Daddy bleeding anywhere?"
Benji: "No! But he's moving around now!"
Operator: "That's good. If he opens his eyes, tell him to stay still, okay? We don't want him to hurt himself. How old are your siblings? And what kind of doggy do you have?"
Benji: "Coralei is two and Theodore is a baby! A big baby, one that crawls and eats baby food! And Dobby is my dog! He is a German Shepherd!"
Operator: "You are an awesome big brother and such a smart boy! For calling 911 right away! I bet your Daddy and Papi are going to be so proud of you."
Benji: "I love my Daddy and Papi! I hear sirens!"
Operator: "Okay good! They are almost there! When they come in, can you help the police officer call your Papi?"
Benji: "Yes, I can! Thank you for helping me!"
Operator: "Your welcome! You are very sweet little boy, Benjamin."
"There's people at the door!" Coralei says as she stands at the front door.
Operator: "There's people at the door?"
Benji: "They are parking the ambulance!"
Operator: "Okay, I am going to hang up now. Talk to the police officer and paramedics."
Benji: "I will! Thank you!"
Operator: "You're welcome!"
Benji hangs up and holds Will's iPhone. Benji holds Dobby by his collar so he doesn't run. Coralei looks up at the paramedics as they walk in with their tools. The police officer walks in and picks up Theodore.
"Can you guys tell me what happened today?" The paramedic asks as Will wakes up and groans.
"Daddy has been sick with a sinus infection. He took his medicine." Benji says to the paramedics.
"Has your dad eaten at all today?" The other paramedics asks.
"I don't think so!" Benji says.
"That's probably why your Daddy passed out. Everything is going to be just fine." The police officer says.
The paramedics work on a just woken up and confused Will and they leave the house.
"I wanna go with Daddy!" Coralei says with a frown.
"Daddy is going to go to the hospital to
feel better. I am going to stay here with you guys until we can contact your Papi." The police officer says as he bounces Theodore.
"I want Papi here, now!" Coralei says with a frown.
"He will be here soon. Do any of you know your Papi's phone number?" The police officer asks the kids.
"Here it is on Daddy's phone!" Benji says handing the iPhone to the police officer.
"His name is Papi!" Coralei says making the police officer giggle.
The police officer talks to RJ and tells him about the situation with Will. RJ quickly runs in his car and drives home.
A police officer stays with the kids while they wait for RJ to come home.
"We have German Shepherds in the police department. They look for bad things in people's cars and at the airport." The police officer says making Benji and Coralei smiles.
"Dobby is just our dog! He just cuddles with us!" Coralei says as she pets Dobby.
"The paramedic said your Daddy is doing so much better! The medicine just made him sick." The police officer says as RJ runs inside of the house.
RJ runs over and hugs Benji and Coralei tightly.
"Are you guys okay?" RJ asks the kids as he kisses their cheeks.
"Yeah! Two boys helped Daddy and now we were talking with him!" Coralei says.
"Yeah, the paramedics helped Daddy and took him to the hospital! And then the police officer has been here with us!" Benji says to RJ.
The police officer hands Theodore to RJ. RJ kisses Theodore's cheek and rubs his back.
"Hello, Mr. Aguiar. Your husband is doing much better and is getting hydration at the hospital." The police officer says as he shakes hands with RJ.
"Thank you so much for staying with the kids! Who called 911?" RJ asks the police officer.
"Your eldest did. He did a great job talking to the operator! Well, I need to get going. If you guys need any help just call." The police officer says as he leaves.
"Thank you so much!" RJ says as he shuts the front door and then he let's Dobby out to use the bathroom.
"Benji, I am so proud of you! Thank you for calling 911 and not me. Let's get a bag packed and let's visit Daddy at the hospital." RJ says as he packs up a book bag full of diapers.
"Hi, guys. I am on my way to the hospital with the kids! Will has been sick the past few days with a horrible sinus infection. I got a phone call from a police officer saying that Will fainted and to come home to be with the kids. I was worried something happened with Will's brain aneurysm or was it because of not eating and taking medicine. But it was because of not eating and taking medicine. So we will see you guys at the hospital!" RJ says as he films the kids waving.
RJ films the kids walking around around the hospital. RJ has Theodore on his hip and some balloons.
"This hospital is so cool!" Benji says as he holds Coralei's hand.
"It is neat! Check out the fish tank!" RJ says as Benji and Coralei look at the fish tank in awe.
"There's Nemo!" Coralei says as she claps her hands.
"There's Dory too!" Benji says as Coralei giggles.
A nurse walks out and she smiles brightly at RJ and the kids.
"I am looking for Willam Shepherd. Do you know which room he is in?" RJ asks the nurse.
"He is right in that room right there! He is doing just fine. I am his nurse for this shift! My name is Helen by the way! I can stay out here with the kids so you can see your husband." Helen the nurse says and RJ smiles.
"Thank you so much! I'll be back in a few minutes to get the kids. I wanna make sure Will is okay." RJ says.
"Of course! It's no problem! Take your time!" Helen says with a big smile.
Benji and Coralei watch the fish with Helen and talk with her about her job.
RJ and Theodore walk in the hospital room quietly. They see Will awake and watching tv.
"Hi, RJ! Hi, Teddy!" Will says as RJ smiles brightly.
"Hi, handsome. I am so fucking happy to see you open your eyes." RJ says softly as he kisses Will's cheek.
"My head is freaking pounding. Why am I in the hospital!" Will asks RJ as he looks at his IV in his arm.
"You fainted at home and Benji called 911 on you. Your head hurts because you fell down." RJ says as he kisses Will's hand.
"Oh my God! Is it my brain aneurysm?" Will says as he slightly panics.
"It wasn't your brain aneurysm, don't worry. They said it looks the same size as when they checked it last. Don't worry, babe. You were just dehydrated and your taking cold medicine do not mix very well." RJ says as he kisses Will.
"Thank God. I can't imagine possibly dying due to this freaking thing in front of the kids. It's scary to think about." Will says as he takes a deep breath and holds RJ's hand.
"I know it is. It's okay. You are just dehydrated, don't worry. I don't want you worrying about anything. I just want you to relax right now." RJ says as he kisses Will's cheek.
Will puckers his lips, making RJ giggle and RJ kisses Will a few times.
"Who has the kids?" Will asks as RJ puts Will's glasses on for him so Will can see.
"They are outside your room looking at the fish with your nurse Helen. Coralei and Benji are fascinated by all the fish." RJ says making Will chuckle.
"Hi, buddy. Hi, little man! Hi, baby." Will says as he rubs Theodore's cheek and then kisses it.
Theodore babbles happily as he sees his Daddy. Will playfully pinches Theodore's cheeks and smiles.
"I am starving." Will says as he makes RJ giggles.
Theodore lays in Will's arms and Will kisses his cheek softly.
"Let me ask Helen to see if you can eat something, okay?" RJ says as Will nods.
RJ walks out to talk to nurse while Benji and Coralei walk in the room.
"Daddy!" Coralei and Benji say as they run up to Will's bed.
Coralei and Benji climb on the bed and sit down on the edge of the bed.
"Hi, Daddy!" Coralei says as she hugs Will tightly.
"Hi, baby girl. Whatcha been doing?" Will asks Coralei as he fixes her hair.
Coralei's pig tails are all messed up making Will chuckle.
"Pwaying!" Coralei says making Will smile.
"Daddy, are you feeling better?" Benji asks Will.
"I am feeling so much better. Thank you helping me. You are such a smart and brave little boy." Will says as he kisses Benji and Coralei's cheeks.
RJ brings in food and Will happily eats. Benji and Coralei look out the window while Theodore sits with Will.
After Will eats, RJ takes Coralei, Theodore and Benji to the cafeteria to eat. Will picks up his iPhone and vlogs himself.
"Hi, guys! I am at the hospital. I have been so freaking sick with a nasty sinus infection these past few days and I just started antibiotics. And I haven't been eating much and it caused me to faint. It's not my aneurysm, don't worry about that guys. Benji is such a smart little boy and called 911. I swear, RJ and I have been so blessed to have this angel as our son. He is so caring and sweet. RJ is here with the kids. They are eating at the cafeteria. I am getting ready to head home soon, yay. I can't wait to relax at home and sleep." Will says as he shows his IV and smiles.
"Oh! So everybody knows this piece of advice! Taking antibiotics and being dehydrated is not a good mixture." Will says as he giggles.
After a few hours in the hospital, Will, RJ, Benji, Coralei and Theodore are all home from the hospital and are relaxing!
A few days later, Will is finally feeling better! :)
Will posts a picture of himself in the hospital bed. He is frowning. He writes the caption as: "when you are so dehydrated and sick from a sinus infection you faint. RJ was out while Theodore, Coralei and Benji we're home with me. I am so grateful to have Benji because he helped me during my time of need. I am so happy to be home and resting with my favorite four legged friend, my three kiddos and RJ. 💙"
RJ posts a picture of Will with a hospital gown on and he is kissing Will's cheek. He writes the caption as: "Hubby hasn't been feeling well and fainted today! Don't worry, it's not his aneurysm, thank goodness! But a nasty sinus infection and dehydration made him faint. Benji is truly a gift because he always wants to help people and he helped Will today!"
