Ronnie's POV
I didn't want to fight.
I just wanted to hug him and for him to hold me.
I wanted to love him..
But he was making it incredibly hard right now.
What was he so afraid of?
"YOU THREW A FUCKING GLASS AT MY HEAD!" He screamed back.
Every single time he yelled,
A little bit at time was chipped away.
I hated this.
I hated all of this.
This time last year we were getting ready to get married.
Oh how the times have changed..
"WELL YOU WERE FLIRTING WITH THAT GIRL AND THEN CLOSED YOUR ROOM DOOR!" I continue to yell,
"You really think I would be unloyal to you?" Colby questions with hurt and anger.
I was hurting too.
"I don't know anymore, Colby!" I yell, feel hot again, like I was going to burst into tears.
Do not let him win. Be strong, Ronnie.
"I love you and only you!" He screams in my face, getting his point across very clearly,
"But you don't! We haven't seen each other in almost a year, we don't know to love each other anymore.. " I shouted back, getting in his face,
"Who are we kidding? Huh? We don't work together anymore, all we do is argue and scream at each other" I say, calming myself.
We don't break eye contact and I look to his right eye.
A single tear falls down his cheek and his breathing goes unsteady,
"We do work, we- after everything we have been through, you really want to end it all?" He chokes.
Everyone else was silent.
They were just watching in sadness and disappoint,
"I never said that" I mutter,
"But you-" he started up again but I cut him off,
"I just want things to go back to how they were!" I yell,
"So if everything that was supposed to happen on the wedding happened, would you of said Yes?" He shouted back,
"Of course I would! I loved you and I still do" I choke up,
"I still love you, Colby.. I'm just- scared" I say,
"Do you not think I'm scared aswell?" He questions also with his voice cracking between each word,
"Scared of what?",
"That I might lose you again!" He exclaims,
"Well I don't want to lose you either!",
And I didn't.
I couldn't..
"Please Ronnie, just stop this. Stop all of this and just- come back to me please.." he cries as he finally breaks.
He wasn't this strong man who could protect everyone.
He was still a man who was in love and it was falling apart.
We couldn't control it,
We just had to try,
"Colby, I don't want to argue anymore.. I just want us to go back to how we were" I cry back.
Both of us now just a sobbing mess.
We both knew that we wanted each other badly but we were both too stubborn and exhausted to do something about it,
"Just promise me- that you won't leave me" I whisper,
"I won't.. I'm not going anywhere, baby".
