LAUREN'S POV:
Someone is in the building, and whoever it is might die because I'm still hungry. I sped up to the third floor, where the noise came from, and started flipping boxes as the girls did the same on other levels. Camila and Normani went to look for Breanna around town. Ally texted me and said to check the top floor and that she could hear multiple heartbeats.
UNKNOWN POV:
We finally found her, but she had no idea what was about to happen. We've been following her for some time. Now we're stronger than before, and it's all thanks to the Fifth Harmony. They don't know it yet, but they will be the ones blamed for her death, and It will be all over the news in a few days. I can't wait to get my hands on her. She'll never know what hit her. We walk up behind her just as she goes to hide under another box.
"Well, well, well, look who it is," says the person next to me "you know it's been a long time since we saw you last, and it's time we catch up, don't you think so?" The person looks at me, and I nod as we see Breanna visibly tense up. I smirk and punch her, and she falls to the ground. I hit her pretty hard. She already has a bruise forming around her eye. She slowly scoots away from us, and one of us grabs her by the leg and drags her back, straddling her waist, and starts punching her even more, pretty sure her nose and jaw are broken.
"My turn, move!" I say, and she gets off of the half-conscious Breanna. She's almost dead, and I want a little taste! I grab her by the hair pulling her up to her feet. Breanna starts screaming for help as I bite into her neck when all of a sudden, I'm thrown into a wall.
Breanna's pov:
Why? How?
They shouldn't have been able to find I'm so dead. After a good beating, I lie on the ground, feeling like I'm about to pass out. She looks at me. The one from my past. The one I never wanted to see in person again.
Karlee
I scream as she grabs me by my hair, pulling me up to her face. My head is dangling sideways. I have no strength left. I call for help with the little bit I found as she bites into my neck. Why does this feel so weird, like it has happened before? I am dropped to the ground, and Karlee is thrown into a wall. I touch my neck. It's wet. I look at it, and there's blood. I start to freak out, and slowly while no one is focused on me try to get up to run only to fall flat on my face. But I don't think anyone noticed. I crawled towards the stairs, and as soon as I got to them, everything went black.
Lauren's POV:
I ripped that girl off of Breanna and threw her against a wall knowing she was a vampire; we fed on her and her friends a few nights ago. How she turned is beyond me. Someone must have killed her, and she provided later or something. I'm not sure, but I have to call the girls. I grabbed my phone and dialed Camila's number, but my phone was knocked out of my hand by one of the other girls, and I snapped her neck like a twig, and she fell to the ground dead.
"Anyone else wanna try me?" I look around at the terrified human girls "no? Well, I didn't think so now; who the hell are you, and what do you have against Breanna?" I ask with a wooden stake in my hand.
"None of your damn business," said the girl I threw just a few minutes ago. I smirk and look at her you.
"I know that you're new at this whole vampire thing, but you should know I am a LOT older than you, child. It would be best if you watched how you speak to me in the next few minutes, or you could lose your life" she rolls her eyes, and I walk closer to her and snap her neck and kill the other girl that was with her. When I turn around to pick up Breanna, I notice that she's gone and start to panic, but then Camila walks in with her in her arms.
"She needs to go to the hospital like now," she says. I nod, and we speed to the hospital, leaving ally and the others to clean the mess I made. Oops.

Jesy's POV:
I just got a call from Demi saying she got a call from the local hospital and that someone had found Breanna in an abandoned wear house with Bite marks on her and other injuries. I dropped what I was doing and got in the car, speeding as fast as possible to the hospital.
A few minutes later, I arrived and ran inside.
"Where is she? Where is my daughter!??" I screamed, and a few nurses ran up to me, trying to calm me down. "Her name is Breanna Nelson, and this is what she looks like" I show them a picture, and a few of them walk away, not knowing anything but two stays with somber looks.
"Ma'am, we have her here, but she is in the ICU. An animal attacked her, and some women brought her in. We'll take you to her, but her injuries are severe," one of the nurses says. I nod and start walking with her.
"What are her injuries?" They look at each other, and the older nurse speaks up.
"Her nose is completely shattered, she has four broken ribs, her right knee was dislocated for what the doctor thinks was from being dropped, and she also fractured her left ankle and will need surgery for almost all of the injuries." She looks up at me apologetically, and I'm almost breaking down; and I feel the girls behind me as they finally found me, and we continue to walk to Bre's room.
I look at Perrie as we stop outside of her room, and I start to cry.
"I don't think I can go in there. I let her down when she needed me the most. I should have protected her, but I didn't. I'm a horrible mother" I fall into Perrie's arms and cry hard.
"Jesy, you're a great mum. It's not your fault. I promise you couldn't have stopped this, and you didn't know where she was or who it was, Okay?" I nod, and she wipes my tears.
"I think I'm ready," I say, standing back up. We were about to walk into Bre's room when Leigh said something.
"Ma'am, is Breanna awake?" She asked the nurse, and she nodded yes, and then we walked in.
Leigh's POV
We walk into the room and see Breanna with one eye swollen shut and a bandage around her neck. Jesy walks over and gently holds her hand, and Bre gives her a sad look.
"This is all my fault, mom. I'm sorry, I should never have run away." She cries. I can tell that they both wanted to hug each other but couldn't.
"Breanna, it's okay. We're just glad you're alive and getting better. I don't know what I would do If I had lost you for good." Jesy said. We all nod, and I look at Bre, wanting to ask her something that I know no one else would. "Bre, do you know who did this to do you?"
She sits and thinks for a while, then starts looking terrified, and her breathing gets heavier. Then she mumbled a few things we all heard.
"She always said that that if I ever got adopted before her, they w-would kill me and they found me and tried. Karlee, it was her. She bit my neck, and she's a vampire." She says that last word quietly without looking up at us. As she sat there quietly, I think she remembered what Demi had told her two weeks ago. Bre looks up at us with wide eyes and reaches for the emergency button to call the nurse, but Jesy grabs it.
Breanna's POV
So it's true? Demi wasn't crazy; I live with vampires. I need to get away or think for a little bit. I have no way of leaving until after my surgeries. Think, think, think. If I make a run for it, I risk hurting myself even more. Ugh
"I need to use the restroom, and I promise I won't tell anyone. Would you please call the nurses so they can help me," I ask? They all look at each other, and then Jesy hits the button, and we wait for them.
Only a few minutes later, they come in.
"How can we help you, sweetie?" They ask, looking at me
I look around the room and then back to the nurses. "I need to use the restroom. Will you please help me?" I ask, and they both nod their head and walk over to me, helping up and taking me to the bathroom, and setting me down. When they shut the door. I text Demi.
Text messages:
B: Demi, you were you were right, but how did you know?
D: I told you, but I found out a while ago on my own.
B: I'm scared. Can you come to visit me? The girls are leaving soon to meet their manager.
D: Yes, text me when they leave.
B: Okay, thank you.
I turn my phone off and call the nurses back in for help. After hiding my phone, they came in and helped me out.
"Breanna, it's time to get you ready for surgery, okay?" The doctor came in.
"Wait, I'm not going to be awake for this, will I be?" The doctors and nurses all shook their heads
"Bre, I'm doctor Robins," a blonde lady said, kneeling next to me "my wife and I are the ones doing your surgeries today; I promise you are in great hands, okay? She is the best Orthopedic doctor out there. Your mom flew us in from Seattle just for you!" She says, and I nod, then look over at the other doctor, and she's smiling at us.
"what's her name?" I ask
"Dr. Torres," Dr. Robins smiles, and I nod, then look to my mum, and she gently squeezes my hand and nods.
"You are going to do perfectly fine, and we'll be here when you get out!" She smiled and kissed my forehead. She then looks to the nurses and nods, giving the go-ahead to take me.
As they're rolling me up and down hallways and through elevators, I start to get nervous. We suddenly stop outside a door, and Dr. Torres and Dr. Robins both look at me.
"Okay, Breanna, we're about to go into the OR, but we have to put you to sleep first. What scent would you like? We have blueberry, strawberry, cotton candy, cherry, and mint?" Dr. Torres asks
"Cotton candy, please," I say quietly. She nods, and they put a mask over my mouth and nose, and I slowly start to fall asleep. Then everything goes dark.
