Will is feeding Theodore while RJ is taking a shower. Dobby is laying by Will's feet while Benji and Coralei play on the floor.
*Benji, Coralei and Theodore's outfits*
Will films Benji and Coralei playing with the doll house together.
"Aren't they cute? This little man was hungry so if you hear him eating that's why. So, today we are going to the eye doctor for Coralei. RJ and I have been noticing that she likes to sit near the tv really close, she rubs her eyes all the time, and I think she needs glasses. So, we are going to go to the same doctor that Benji goes to. Wish us luck, Coralei isn't the best at the doctors. She doesn't like doctors." Will says as Theodore finishes eating.
After RJ finishes up his shower and getting ready, Will, RJ, and the kids load up and drive to the eye doctor.
Once at the eye doctor, Will and RJ fill out the paper work for Coralei. Coralei and Benji sit on the floor and play.
"Coralei Shepherd-Aguiar?" Stephanie the optician says.
"It's your turn, baby girl!" Will says as he picks up Coralei.
Benji, RJ and Theodore follow behind.
"I am just going to do the air in the eye test to test her eye pressure. She may not like it! It's just a puff of air on each eye. So, have her sit on your lap and ask her to look at the picture I will have on the screen." Stephanie says as she sits behind the machine.
"Look at the picture on the screen. Put your eyes on this." Will says as he kisses Coralei's cheek.
Coralei happily looks in the machine and sees a picture of a pixelated mouse with a piece of cheese.
"What do you see, baby girl?" RJ asks Coralei.
"A mouse and cheese!" Coralei says as Stephanie puffs twice into Coralei's eyes.
Coralei makes a funny face and rubs her eyes, making Will and RJ laugh.
"Awesome job, sweetheart! We are going into an examine room and wait for Dr. Parker to come! She will be in a few minutes!" Stephanie says as she walks Will, RJ, Theodore, Benji and Coralei into the room.
"She is going to hate the dilating eye drops." RJ says and Will sighs.
"I'm sure she will, but who likes it anyway?" Will says as he giggles.
"Theodore is snoozing, look how cute he is in his car seat." RJ says as he fixes Theodore blanket.
Benji kisses Coralei's cheek making her smile.
A few minutes later, Dr. Parker walks in with a big smile on her face.
"Hi, Dr. Parker!" Benji says as he waves.
"Hello, Benjamin! It's so good to see you! Hi, Coralei! You are so pretty. I love your hair!" Dr. Parker says as she plays with Coralei's hair making her smile.
"So, I heard Coralei is having trouble seeing! What's been going on?" Dr. Parker asks Coralei as she looks at Coralei's eyes.
"Will and I believe that she is nearsighted. She can't sit on the couch and watch TV, she's gotta be right on top of the tv. And if we move her she has a fit and cries." RJ says.
"I see. Yeah most parents just think it's the kid being stubborn and not a vision issue." Dr. Parker says.
"Yeah. We both wear glasses and we know the struggle, so we didn't want Coralei to suffer if she doesn't have to." Will says as he fixes Coralei's bow.
"She is learning her letters so how does the vision screen work?" RJ asks.
"I do a lot of testing with toys and things like that. Do you guys think she is color blind?" Dr. Parker asks Will and RJ.
"She sees color fine, she knows what's pink and what's not!" RJ says as Dr. Parker laughs.
"Aw, we have a girly girl I see! So precious! I love your dress!" Dr. Parker says to Coralei.
"What do you say?" Will asks Coralei as Coralei hides her face.
"Aw, it's okay! She doesn't have to talk! I know this is scary." Dr. Parker says.
"She talks all the time except today! She isn't a fan of the doctors!" RJ says as he kisses Coralei's cheek.
"Was she born premature? I usually ask this because sometimes if a baby is premature that's why they need glasses." Dr. Parker asks Will and RJ.
"No, she was born at thirty eight weeks." Will says and Coralei looks at Dr. Parker's necklace.
"Did she have any delays in her development?" Dr. Parker asks as she
"She was very ahead in motor development and all development really. She's a smart toddler." RJ says with a big smile.
"Does she rub her eyes a lot? And does she blink a lot?" Dr. Parker says as she looks at Coralei's eyes with a light.
"She usually rubs her eyes when she's tired but lately it's been all the time." Will says.
"Yeah, and she will blink a lot when something is far away and she wants to see it." RJ says.
"I see. Okay, I am going to do some tests with her, if you don't mind." Dr. Parker says.
"Sure, go ahead." Will says softly.
Dr. Parker holds up a pink bunny, moving it side to side and up and down, seeing how Coralei tracks it with her eyes.
"Her eyes track very well! Which is great! Her eyes don't seem to be lazy or anything like that. Here, you can have the bunny if you like." Dr. Parker says as Coralei hugs it.
"I have a bunny like that when I got my eyes checked!" Benji says.
"That's right, bubba!" RJ says with a grin.
Dr. Parker takes the bunny with her and pushes her chair back, making Coralei squint. Coralei begins to get frustrated and begins to fuss.
"I'm sorry! Here's your bunny back." Dr. Parker says as she has the bunny "kisses" Coralei's cheek.
Dr. Parker puts the light on Coralei eyes to test her pupil responses.
"Her pupils respond very well! I know the light was bright sweety, I'm sorry." Dr. Parker says as Coralei rubs her eyes.
Dr. Parker holds up two cards, one striped and one blank. Coralei looks at the striped card like she was suppose to.
"Good job! Woohoo!" Dr. Parker was and Coralei smiles.
"Okay, the last thing I need to do is check her eyes. I need to dilate her eyes." Dr. Parker says as she grabs the drops.
RJ holds Coralei as Dr. Parker puts the drop in Coralei's eyes.
Coralei cries loudly as the Dr. Parker puts the dilating drops in her eyes.
"I'm sorry, sweety! I know it feels weird. Let me look at your eyes." Dr. Parker says as she looks at Coralei's eyes.
Dr. Parker looks at Coralei's eyes making sure there isn't anything structurally wrong with Coralei's eyes. Coralei's eyes look perfect!
"Her eyes look perfect! I don't see anything concerning or nothing that shouldn't be there! Which is awesome! Isn't it, sweety?" Dr. Parker says as Coralei smiles.
"Coralei is definitely nearsighted. She will need to wear glasses to see things far away. I have a pair of glasses right here so she can try them on. They will wrap around her head so they don't fall off. She's too young to have regular glasses." Dr. Parker says.
Dr. Parker puts the glasses on Coralei's face. Coralei tries to take them off but Will stops her.
Coralei looks around and smile as she can see much clearer.
"Somebody is happy! You look so beautiful!" Dr. Parker says with a big smile.
"You sure do! Aww!" RJ says as he takes a picture of Coralei.
"I would recommend buying a few pairs of glasses just in case they break. Little kids love to break things." Dr. Parker says making Will and RJ nod in agreement.
"Definitely. Let's get three pairs of black glasses, they will match with everything she wears." Will says and Coralei smiles.
"You look so cute, Coralei!" Benji says making Coralei smile happily.
"She looks so happy with her glasses on!" RJ says as he kisses Coralei's cheek.
"I see!" Coralei says happily.
"I'm glad, baby girl! You look precious with your glasses on." Will says and Coralei smiles brightly.
"Okay! Let me get Coralei's glasses ready and then you guys can go. Coralei and Benjamin can both have an eye check up every year!" Dr. Parker says as she gives Benji and Coralei a high five.
"Thank you so much for everything!" Will says as he shakes Dr. Parker's hand.
"Thank you so much!" RJ says with a grin.
"My pleasure! See you guys in a year!" Dr. Parker says as she waves at the kids before waving.
Will and RJ buy Coralei's glasses before leaving!
"Coralei has glasses now! She is wearing them now. Coralei, look up!" Will says as Coralei smiles.
"I see better!" Coralei says as she plays with her shoe.
"I'm glad you do, baby girl!" RJ says as he begins to drive.
"Theodore is sleeping and Benji is playing Mario. We are going to head home to pick up Dobby so we can go to dog park! We are going to enjoy the beautiful weather!" Will says as RJ kisses his cheek.
"We are going to end the vlog here, we hope you enjoyed watching Coralei getting her glasses! We love you guys! Benji, Coralei, do you wanna say goodbye?" Will asks the kids.
"Bye bye!" Coralei says as she happily waves.
"Bye!" Benji says as he waves with a big smile.
"Bye guys! We love you!" RJ says as he blows a kiss.
"Bye guys see you next time!" Will says as he turns the camera off.
Will, RJ, Benji, Coralei, Theodore and Dobby headed to the park and spent the rest of the day together! :)
