after dessert: simon's pov
"home time, home time." amber sings like a little kid as she skips towards the car. i shake my head whilst smiling at her. "come on simon! it's home time!" amber beams at me. "i'm coming, i'm coming." i say as i quicken my pace slightly.
"where's everyone else?" amber asks as she finally notices the other guys - tobi, vik, and harry - aren't with us. "they're getting a taxi home." i say. "why?" amber asks, confused. "i don't know. tobi texted me and said that him, vik and harry are gonna get a taxi back." i shrug.
they're probably leaving us on our own as we seem to be getting along better now.
"okay." amber nods.

"simon," amber says as we climb into the car. "yes?" i question. "can i ask you something?" she asks. "sure." i shrug. "why do you think we didn't get along in the first place?" amber asks. "well," i begin. "i'll be honest, i always thought that you were a attention seeking, over dramatic bitch." i truthfully say. "wow, thanks." amber says. "but i've now realized that i was wrong." i say, reassuring her. "well, i always thought you were an arrogant twat and just plain annoying." amber says. "oh," i hum. "but i was wrong. you're not. you're a lovely person." amber smiles at me. "so are you, ambs." i smile back at her.
"i feel like this is part of a shitty movie where suddenly we're in love with one another, and we're about to make-out," amber mutters. "not gonna happen, mate." i say as i put my glasses on. "good." amber chuckles.
