It's been a whole month since that night took place. Sahara has refrained from talking to Viktor. he fact that Viktor lied to her about Damian really hurt her because she thought she fully deserved to know what he was doing.

She's been avoiding Damian more than she's been avoiding Viktor. It was almost as if Damian was avoiding her as well. He had barely come home in the past month. He's been out on "business trips" almost every week.

The Pure Starlight event was pushed back a whole month because there were some problems with the venue and afterparty location, which is what Sahara has been told by Anastasia.

"I cannot believe the event is tomorrow!" Jen squeals. "Oh, my, Ma'am, your dress is absolutely gorgeous!!" Jen couldn't take her eyes off of the dress Ana had bought for Sahara.

Sahara wasn't sure how she felt about it because it looks very body-hugging and tight. Even though it is a floor length dress with long sleeves, the fact that it was going to show off her body figure made Sahara uncomfortable. The neckline is also really deep but it can be covered with her scarf, which she didn't worry about.

The colour of the dress isn't bright but still an eye catching red. She couldn't do anything about the colour as the event has a dress code: men should wear black suit and tie, while women should wear red floor length dresses.

Ana smiles proudly, "It's a custom-made, one of a kind Versace dress, made just for Sahara. Once the dress the is in the public eye after she wears it, even the Kardashian sisters are going to want to snatch it off of you!" Ana and Jen laugh.

Jen adds in between her laughter, "Can't wait for Kim Kardashian to start bawling because she doesn't have the dress!"

"Guys!" Sahara blushes.

"Okay, get some sleep! I think Damian will be home late, he's caught up in the office." Ana says as she hugs Sahara goodbye. Jen bows and leaves the room.

Yeah, right, he's caught up in the office with some women, most probably, Sahara thought to herself.

Sahara slips into the long, bodycon-like dress. It hugs all the right parts of her figure, giving attention to the feminine parts of her body.

(A/N: The dress she's wearing is on the chapter cover)

She hadn't tied up her hair into a bun yet so her long, luscious, black hair falls down her back, making her look more western than the Muslim girl that was there a few minutes ago.  She stares at herself in the mirror, wow, is this me? I look like a completely different person.

"Don't you think this is too tight around, uh, my areas?" Sahara says pointing at her chest and bum as she looks at herself in the full length mirror.

"I haven't even turned around yet, how would I know?" Ana says as she has her eyes covered with her back towards Sahara.

"Oh, sorry. You can turn around now."

Anastasia's hands fly to cover her mouth and she gasps, "Holy Mother of Jesus! Sahara, ti takaya krasivaya (Russian: "You are so beautiful)!"

Sahara raises a brow and smiles, "Thanks? Was that a compliment in Russian?"

Ana examines the dress more closely as she says, "Yes, my hot hijabi. You look sexy as fuck. Men are going to drool over you, I can guarantee that! I did not know you were hiding this voluptuous figure underneath all those baggy clothes."

"Oh, Allah! I can't have men staring at me with such haram intentions! I need to cover up!" Sahara starts having a mental breakdown.

"Oh, right, it's inappropriate for you to show off such intimate parts of yourself. I could give you a thin coat but at one point you're going to have to take it off because the people there are strict as fuck about their dress code." Ana says looking concerned. "But good news, you probably won't be there for long and I can easily sweep you away in a corner where no one can see you!"

Sahara contemplates for a few seconds, then nods. The night will be over soon, it'll be over soon, she keeps telling herself.

Suddenly, Ana squeals and says, "LET ME CALL MY BROTHER INSIDE. HE'S GOING TO GO NUTS WHEN HE SEES YOU IN THIS!"

"OMG! No! Anastasia! You can't!!!" Sahara chases Ana around the room but her tight dress makes it hard for her to take long strides.

Ana fends off Sahara with one hand, "Hello, Damian? GET YOUR ASS IN MY ROOM. QUICK! YOU'RE GOING TO FREAK! YOUR WIFE LOOKS LIKE A DELICIOUS SNACK TONIGHT!"

The last sentence makes Sahara blush. "Anastasia, please stop!!! That's so embarrassing, oh my Allah!!!"

Ana hangs up, "he's coming in a few." She says with a devious smile playing on her lips.

Within 30 seconds to a minute, Damian walks through the doors. Sahara turns around so her back would face him because she's too embarrassed to be showing so much skin.

"Well, I don't have all day. Let me see if you're presentable enough." He says impatiently. "Look, if you're going to waste my–" Sahara turns around to face him, making him go speechless. His eyes widen and his lips separate to form a "O". He could not stop scanning Sahara from head-to-toe, he's damn-well looking at her like she's a whole bloody meal. He licks his lips at the dirty thoughts going through his head.

Ana has a smirk playing on her face because she is satisfied to her limits with the expression on Damian's face.

Damian's eyes lock in with Sahara's, looking at her as if he's about to rip the dress off of her on spot and take her places she's never been to. Sahara feeling slightly self-conscious from the stare, starts covering the long neckline area with her hands.

"Well, what do you have to say?" Ana asks.

Damian didn't break the eye contact he has going on with Sahara. He looks at her with such hunger, Sahara starts scrambling to find a scarf to wrap around herself.

Ana smiles playfully while looking back and forth from Damian to Sahara. "Okay, Damian. I know every dirty detail that's going through your head right now but I do need to hear a compliment."

Damian smirks, "Not bad, not bad at all. You look well put together tonight, Akbar (for all of you who don't remember, Akbar is Sahara's maiden name, before marriage)."

Sahara blushes uncontrollably, the first genuine compliment she's received from Damian. She barely manages to thank him as words weren't forming from her mouth. All the attention has her choking up. "T-Thank y-y-you."

Damian ruins the few seconds of peace they had between each other with a dumb comment, "You're not wearing that silly headscarf tonight, are you? I have a reputation to withhold."

Anastasia rolls her eyes, "You always find a way to ruin a moment! Of course she's wearing the headscarf, you dickhead!"

"You're always disrespecting me, Anastasia Vasiliev! I'm older than you. Besides, I did not ask you, I asked her." Damian says pointing towards a baffled Sahara.

"I disrespect you because you're a prick 98% of the time. You never learned how to respect women." Ana crosses her arms across her chest, fuming.

"I– of course I'm wearing my scarf. I won't ever step outside of this house without it." Sahara stands her ground. He can mock her for anything but he can never take away her faith.

"I want you to take it off." Damian says sternly.

Ana's eyes widen, "You're unbeliev–"

"It's okay, Anastasia." Sahara looks at him for a couple of seconds but doesn't say anything. Then, she walks towards the mirror and picks up her normal clothes.

Damian looks at Sahara confused, "What are you doing?"

"I'm changing back. I don't think you need me there. You can easily take another woman with you. It's fine."

"You're bloody stubborn. Whatever. Fine. Meet me at the car in 10 minutes." Damian walks out of the room in irritation.

Ana looks at Sahara stunned because she hasn't seen Sahara stand up for herself much when it comes to Damian.

"You go, girlfriend! We're going to have so much fun tonight! I'll see you downstairs."

Sahara nods. She's not sure if she'll have fun. She hasn't even left the house yet and she can't wait to come back home (A/N: me lol). She hopes the night will sweep by swiftly.

Little does she know, the night will bring her brand new challenges that'll shake her world.

[Sneak Peak For The Next Chapter]

"My wife is in great discomfort from the impolite and discourteous questions and comments." He takes her hand in his, puts it up to his lips, and softly kisses the back of her hand, all while not taking his eyes off of her. The fans around them couldn't help but erupt into a loud awe.
