Harry
I don't know what I been thinking in inviting Roxanne to join Candice and I out to a stupid amusement park then the movies. I can see her pain through her eyes. She felt left out.
I'm such an idiot. But I'm going to make it up to her, I hope.
We arrive to the ice skating rink as Roxanne then looks around and sighs.
"This will be fun come on," I smile at her and grab Candice's hand as I go to the front and pay for us. We make our way around and get our ice skates.
"I never done this," Roxanne huffs sitting down on the bench.
"Really?" I ask and Candice chuckles.
"I'm the one that knows how to skate she doesn't. You can help her out Harry. It's hard for me to teach her now," she chuckles.
"Yeah of course," I smile at her then look at Roxanne. I put on my skates and look over as she has a hard time with her skates and I chuckle kneeling in front of her. "Let me help." She raises her eyebrows and I help her tie the laces. "There," I smile up at her and she looks away.
"I got it," she huffs as I try to grab her hand. She tries standing up but falls and I catch her in my arms.
"I don't think you do," I laugh and she glares at me.
"Shut up jerk."
"Aye, I'm trying to help," I pout. "Let me help you unless you want to keep falling."
She huffs and pushes me back making me lose my balance as I fall onto the ice on my bum.
"Harry you okay?!" Candice skates over to my side and I burst out laughing.
"I'm fine sweetheart," I smile getting up and look over at Roxanne who has her hands over her mouth.
"I'll be right back," Candice smiles and skates off and goes to remove her skates as she walks off.
"I'm so sorry," Roxanne says.
"It's fine. But... you're skating with me come on," I smile reaching my hand out to her. She hesitates for a moment then takes my hand as I gently hold hers and slowly skate.
"I'm going to fall."
"No you're not, just follow my lead," I smile at her. "You'll get the hang of it."
She gulps nodding and wraps her arm around mine tight afraid to let go. I chuckle and smile at her trying to walk with the skates.
"Nooo," I laugh shaking my head. "Just slide like this," I smile skating slowly as she then follows my movements.
"This is hard," she pouts.
"Try it."
"Don't let go!"
"I'm not," I laugh and pull a bit back just holding her hand. "You can do it..."
She looks at me and tries to skate almost stumbling but I catch her.
"I can't."
"Yes you can, don't ever say you can't. Come on try it again."
I pull back and she tries again.
"There you go, you're getting the hang of it," I smile at her and she smiles a bit.
I slowly let go off her hand and her eyes widen.
"Don't!"
"I'm not going far, you got this Roxy."
She just stands in place not moving a bit.
"Roxanne don't be afraid. Look at me," I smile skating around. She laughs as I try to twirl around but I do it slowly.
"I can't do that!"
"If I can you can," I smile and reach over grabbing her hand. "Let's do it together."
As the time goes by, Roxanne and I skate around and try to go for a faster pace but she's barely getting the hang of it.
"Okay I'm going to let you do it alone now," I smile letting go off her hand as she looks at me worriedly. "You could do it," I smile skating back watching her as she tries on her own.
She stumbled a bit but was able to balance it out. She smiled as she skated.
"I'm doing it!" She giggles and I laugh.
"Great job sweetheart," I smile admiring her. She looks like an angel fallen right out of the sky. Her hair would flow perfectly out of her sight. Her blue eyes shining, her smile ever so bright. As she skates I can't help but admire her beauty.
She's an angel.
She's always been one.
All she's missing is her halo.
My heart skips a beat as she skates towards me.
"How did I do?" She smiles and I'm at loss at words.
"Huh?"
"Umm are you okay?" She chuckles.
"Oh yeah, uh you were great, nice job," I smile and suddenly feel hot inside. And no it's not a horny sensation, it's a different kind of feeling. I feel my cheeks burning up, my heart won't stop beating at a fast pace. I feel my hands getting sweaty.
What is happening to me?
"Y-you looked like an ice princess," I smile at her and she chuckles looking around.
"How so?"
"I-I don't know. Oh look your mom is back," I scratch the back of my neck nervously as Candice skates over.
"How's the lesson?" Candice laughs.
"Well I'm getting the hang of it, I think," Roxanne smiles.
"Ooh yay! Let's go," she grabs Roxanne's hand and smiles at me as I follow behind.
This is going to be harder than I thought.
