Midnight.
The time when emotions are let loose. The time when we stop caring. The time where you are brave enough to do anything. The time of wild thoughts and lights flashing in the darkness. The time of stars and shadows and cool air.
Sounds good, right?
But now, imagine that as your whole life. Not just the recklessness of midnight but twelve o'clock in itself.
The strange man sitting by the bar; the shifting shadow behind you. The pair of eyes watching from a rooftop. The smell of burning hair and bad cologne. Puddles of red, wet liquid in the alley.
