~*Normal PoV*~
The bell finally rang, signalling that it was the end of your class. You sighed in relief, your tired shoulders finally relaxed but after a second or two, your shoulders tensed. You remembered that you two have plans today. No! Not that kind of plan, cause yeah you're still young.
"Well shit.." You cussed under your breath and out of nowhere you felt someone place their hand on your right shoulder making you let out a short "Eep!"
"(L/n)? Are you okay? You seem tense." Goddamn it's him, Kidou, what great timing. You swore to yourself that you wanted to bitch-slap someone during the moment he unexpectedly placed his hand on your shoulder, lucky enough you managed to control yourself and lucky enough it was just Kidou.
"O-Oh, Kidou-kun. Tense? Pssh nah! I'm actually fine, just slightly stiff 'cause I'm still recovering." You smoothly excused with not much suspicion, it's a good thing the author came up with that.
"Is that so? Well then, I just approached you to tell you that I already told Haruna that she can go on ahead after practice, that's okay with you, right?" Kidou informed with slight hesitation but he managed to give you a small smile as a sign of his "confidence".
"Oh of course, that's fine with me. Can't wait to finally see you guys play again! I missed watching and playing with you, I mean, yeah...Shitty bullies." You excitedly stated and you even cussed casually but then, it actually humored the playmaker.
"Yeah, I missed playing with you too, don't worry...This time," To your surprise---to everyone's surprise (LOL don't forget that some of your classmates are still there, hun), he gently took hold of your hand and suddenly kissed the back of it in a romantic way. "This time, I promise, I will protect you from any harm." He seriously declared as he looked at you in the eyes through his goggles.
"WOOH NICE ONE, KIDOU!" A certain person (*coughs*asshole*coughs*), exclaimed for the whole class to hear and all, including the background characters were surprised by the sudden declaration of the first playmaker. Now that the both of you were snapped out of your romantic scene, both of you looked around and saw that most of your classmates were awed or surprised. Both of you sweatdropped before you glared at the second playmaker, Fudou.
"You will pay for this." You mouthed at Fudou while you death-glared at the very soul of Fudou, poor Fudou wanted to shrink down right down at the marbled floor.
After a few minutes, some of your classmates were still looking at you, most were male. Kidou noticed this and decided to be bold again. Out of the blue, he smoothly wrapped an arm around your waist and pulled you closer to him. He eyed most males before declaring, "She's mine." Damn, most of the classmates jaw-dropped especially the teammates of Kidou, specifically; Endou, Kazemaru, Tsunami, Fubuki, Gouenji and Fudou. They were silent and secretly, there was a heated battle for your heart between the . This declaration drove them to their edge, but then Endou and Kazemaru already forfeited in the game and just accepted that they won't be able to have you. Tsunami, Fubuki, Gouenji and Fudou, however, weren't going to give up that easily, but for "peace", they'll be quiet for now.
Your mind was going crazy and your heart felt it wanted to burst out of your ribs and chest. You have never thought that Kidou would be that brave to announce such a thing. You also haven't experienced such flattery, it wasn't like those moments when you kept on being complimented by your parents whenever you have done something good nor it's the feeling of being appreciated by other people who accepts your dual-colored eyes. Is this really what you feel when you're in love? Maybe, maybe not, but more likely yes. Gosh, you hope this dies down tomorrow.
~*Practice*~
You sat quietly at the bench as most of the players were playing soccer, it's a good thing that you have an assignment to get your mind off of soccer because damn, the strong temptation to play soccer with the team is getting the best of you, but no, recovery first.
'Dear Jeebus...I never thought that the temptation is strong. It's even stronger than me wanting cheesecake...' You thought and groaned internally. You took a glance at the players, they were talking about some strategies and Endou was being the encouraging captain he is, your eyes suddenly landed on the first play-maker. He was formally suggesting and coming up more strategies for the team to use for the next match that would be coming sooner or later. He looked really the strict type and the person you could actually depend on, but you knew he had a sweet and "dumb" side inside of him, and you loved that. Wait...What are you thinking? Focus on your assignment--- Your thoughts were cut off when you saw Kidou waved his hand at you. Oh shit, he caught you looking (more like, stare at him), you quickly returned your attention to your plain textbook. What a painful torture this is...
"(L/n)-san..How are you feeling?" One of the managers, specifically, Natsumi decided to sit beside you. You were slightly caught off-guard of her presence, since for all you know, you didn't talk much with her.
"Natsumi-san.." You uttered, acknowledging the female's presence. Now that you think of it, a wave of guilt washed over you. You remembered being cold to her despite the fact that she meant well. You knew that she had a point during that time. True, it was your own body to control and handle, but your disastrous actions cause a negative effect to other people. It wasn't only you who was hurting, it pains other people as well. You feel real guilty for your stubborn attitude. "..I'm doing okay, I guess." You answered, closing your textbook, as you knew that there'd be a conversation between the two of you.
"I see.." Was all she could reply at the moment, her tawny colored eyes watching the players practice soccer. A moment of seconds passed as the both of you tried to come up with anything to talk about. May it be random or not, and just when Natsumi finally thought of something, you decided to speak first.
"I'm sorry, Natsumi-san.." You apologized with sincerity as you thought the timing was well. You could make 'amends' with her now while the others are busy. "I'm sorry for being rude to you during that time." You emphasized 'that' as a meaning and assuming that she has already has the idea what you were speaking about.
"That time.." It took her a few seconds before she finally caught up to what you apologized about. "Oh." She lets out a small smile of understanding before speaking. "It's alright, I believe that you've been through a lot that's why you have reacted that way. It didn't affect me that much anyway, I was slightly taken aback for I wasn't used to someone being rude to me, as you know, I am the daughter of the principal here."
"...Thank you." You couldn't help but smile at her kindness and honest statement. During the moment of silence, you placed back your textbook inside your school bag, while your pen and pencil in your pencil case. You fixed your skirt and adjusted in a comfortable position, Natsumi paid no mind to this.
"Anyways...I heard from Gouenji-kun, you...have," Natsumi reluctantly looked away for a bit, before she decided to look back at you, "hetero-chromatic eyes?" She finally continued, regardless that she knew this was a sensitive topic for you, she couldn't help but be curious as to why would you let yourself be affected by just having dual eye colors. Was it really a big thing?
'So he did tell them...and here I thought, hoping that he would actually keep quiet. Though, I believe that he's just being honest with them..' You felt a slight ache in your heart, feeling betrayed for a little while, but simply decided to brush it off as it is not much of a deal. Clearing your throat, you finally communicated once more. "Yes...I do." You kept your voice steady, making sure that you won't break down, you wanted to be brave enough to face the insults or mockery that she'll throw at you.
"...May..I see them?" Natsumi politely requested as she scooted closer to your position, tugging a lock of her tawny colored hair behind her ear as it was about to get in the way, assuming that you'll let her see your other eye.
"Promise me you won't...insult me?" You gulped, clenching on your garnet colored skirt as you hesitantly faced the female with fear evident in your visible eye. Your lips slightly trembling, you know you could simply say 'no', but you assumed that she'll ask again in another time, so it's best to show it now.
"I won't, I promise." She firmly stated with a kind smile before her hand reached out and gently brushed away your bangs that covered your other eye. Instinctively, you closed your eyes as she did the action but hesitantly, you slowly opened your eyes... Revealing to her your dual colored eyes, your right a beautiful (e/c) color, while your hidden left eye; a majestic (2nd e/c) color, shown together it made you more beautiful than before. The two color complimented your simple beauty. Natsumi was simply at awe and was drawn into you...She could only mutter...
"You're beautiful.."
