Authors Note:
This entire Chapter is dedicated to Niji's past. You can skip if you want but you'll be thouroughly confused later in the story. I think someof you who have read Naruto Rant stories would think I'm making her way to over powered. But this is Niji's story... I use Brazilian Portuguese as their mother tongue.

In the east wing of Konoha a large compound was bustling with activity. This compound was known as the Naegi Compound. Memorialized for their way with negotiations and problems, they where the sole advisors to the Kages, Daimyo's, Clan leaders, and outside areas. Blessed with great intelligence and wisdom as well as skills most common folk do not achieve until later there was one problem with this great clan.
The women where sterile. Because of this, babies where genetically induced through 2 months of treatment and shots. This was a very risky procedure as they mother could easily get sick from common things or die giving birth.
For 15 years, they had been trying to find a cure and when they thought they found one, they decided to test it out on a young baby. Niji's parents where the first to offer their expected child as it was determined to be a girl. However, 1 month 3 weeks 36 hours and 12 minutes before Niji was born, the 9 tailed fox demon attacked. The Naegi Compound was the only safe place in the village at the time and the experiment was put on hold until after the baby was born.
Niji was born on November 30th at the crack of dawn. She was a quiet baby, tall and light. Everybody marveled at her hair and eyes. They told her parents she would do great things. Because of her weight the experiment was put on hold again until she was 7.
When Niji was 4 a group of rouge ninja's killed her parents by poisoning. She lived with her Aunt and Uncle until she was 7 and taken away for the experiment. One year later, a new group of bandits attacked the Naegi clan looking for the secret scrolls. Unfortunately they killed all of the Naegi's in a fire. Niji was the sole survivor of the Naegi Massacre because she was locked in the hospital.

"Niji bebe? Can you come with us?" Her aunt said. Niji looked up from her book. At 7 years she was extremely tall, smart, fast, and sassy.
"Yes ." She said getting up from the large blue armchair. She walked over to her aunt clutching a spotted blue and white blanket. She, her aunt, and uncle where shortly in the Elder's room.
"Tia? Why are we visiting Vo e Vo? Have I done something?" Niji asked. Her Grandmother and Grandfather scared her because they where intimidating and very smart.
"No No querida! They just want to talk to you. Its your first important job! Aren't you excited?!" Her aunt asked giving her a squeeze. Niji giggled.
"I guess so!" Niji said leaving her shoes and blanket outside. Extra Necessities where not permitted in this room. A rule Niji had never broken and never planned on breaking. Niji walked in and sat in the middle of her Mother and Father.
"Niji. You where chosen as the new experiment for the cure." Her grandmother said. Niji remained silent.
"Do you accept this assignment? You will not be permitted to the outside world of the Naegi compound until the experiment is over. Once it is over, you may never talk about it." Her grandfather said passing a bowl with a white crystal in it. Her Grandmother passed a knife the other direction.
"I do."
"Then draw your blood in our symbol and make the pact with our crystal. This pact is verified until the destruction of the Naegi clan." Her Grandmother said
Niji accepted the knife and bowl. Taking her hand, she dragged the knife to create the crest of her clan on her palm. Niji held her hand out in front of the crystal. Wincing she touched the crystal quietly as the searing pain scarred her hand. When she removed it, a white version of her clans symbol was evident.
"Niji Naegi. You are now bound to the crystal and must serve the Leaf Village until that mark no longer sears your skin. When it does not sear, you are free to leave the village whenever you want but should you leave for any other reason before that time, your life span will be drawn to the crystal. You have accepted the Experiment Mission." Her Grandfather said. Niji bowed and stood up.
"I live to serve my elders. I will die before ignorance." Niji said. When she and her parents exited a guard came to them.
"I am to take Niji Naegi to the Lab." He said. Niji hugged her parents goodbye and left with him and her blanket.

"Niji? Do you still have the seal?" Sakura asked. Niji opened took her glove off and showed it to Sakura. It glowed a bright white before Niji put her glove back on.
"I'll have this seal for a while. I don't know when it will leave." Niji said before continuing the story.

Niji and the Guard walked towards the lab. When she got there she was instructed to take off her clothes and put on a nurses uniform.
"Incase someone see's you, your instructions are to say you have a bone disease." A man in a white Lab coat said. Niji nodded and stepped into the uniform. It was a simple pink knee length dress and she had a pink bow for her hair. Niji discarded her boots and now wore white ruffle socks and white sneakers. This was to help her look normal incase she was seen by non informants.
"Can I keep my blanket?" Niji asked tugging on the mans sleeve. He nodded. "Only in your hospital room." He said. Niji agreed and her blanket was taken to her room with a box labeled
The Rainbow Experiment
"Ok Niji. Your going to be in this hospital until we can either cure your clan or not. If yes, you will be free from the pact, if not then your bound to it until conditions are met." The man said. Niji nodded.
"What is your name?" Niji asked.
The man looked at her and simply said that his name was Satoshi. As they walked they learned a little more about each other. Satoshi was a blond haired, green eyed 27 year old. He was a medical Ninja and was very skilled in Taijutsu. He liked to read and write, as well as draw. Niji came to call him her brother due to the amount of time he spent with her.
"Lets go to the medical room. We need to evaluate you." Satoshi said. Niji nodded and talked to him about medical Ninjutsu the entire way.
"...And that's why I think it would be easy to accomplish re establishing the chakra network to the broken exit point." Niji said as they walked towards a room. Satoshi looked at her confounded at the girl who just gave a possible way to fix Ninja who where unable to use chakra due to chakra networks shutting down. Something Lady Tsunade couldn't even do.
"That's very interesting Niji. Whether or not the experiment succeeds, you should become a medical ninja. I could teach you if you want." Satoshi said holding the door open for her. Niji stepped inside and waved goodbye to Satoshi before the door closed.
"Welcome Niji. My name is Ryobi. I'm your evaluator. Please step out of your shoes and take your dress off. I need to take some measurements of you." Ryobi said. Niji nodded and stepped on the scale.
"Hm... Bust 43 1/2cm, Hips 27cm, Thighs 21 1/4cm, Neck 13 1/2cm. Good good, your forming very nicely. Height... 164 cm. Weight 76 pounds." Ryobi said as she copied down all the measurements. Niji had multiple other tests taken.
When she was done, Ryobi gave her a hug and let her out. Satoshi was waiting for her with a box.
"Here Niji, I thought you might like some books and drawing stuff. I didn't know what else you might want.." Satoshi said holding the box and rubbing the back of his neck.
Niji smiled and hugged him.
"Thanks! Books are fine! What do I have to do now?" Niji asked taking the box from him. Satoshi laughed and straightened Niji's bow on her head.
"Well we need to do two more things then you can go to your room. Its with the rest of the staff, so if you need something, we are on hand 24/7." Satoshi said holding Niji's hand and walking her to an operating room.
"Hey why an operating room?" Niji said. "As far as I'm concerned I haven't got anything wrong with me." Niji said. Satoshi shook his head and laughed.
"No! This isn't an operating room. Its actually an Electromagnetic radiation room. Your gonna get some X-Rays. I'll wait outside and after if your hungry we can get some food. Then I'll show you to your room." Satoshi said hugging Niji before she walked into the room.

"Where you scared?" Sakura asked as Niji was making some food with the little they had. Niji shook her head.
"No, it didn't hurt, it was cold though. Hey are they stirring?" Niji said as Naruto sat up and rubbed his eyes. Niji gasped, grabbed her bag and left the defenses up.
"Sakura. Take care of them. I'll leave the defenses and be 40 meters west. I'll be back with a scroll for you guys later." Niji said before disappearing.
"But Niji! Ah Naruto! Your awake." Sakura said. Naruto looked around.
"I could have sworn I heard Niji. No good lying bitch. She got us hurt. I hope she fails. In her face!" Naruto said before giving Sakura a hug.
"But you saved us!" Naruto said.
If he only knew... Sakura thought.
