"Hey Lily you are still here i thought you'll be gone by now"
laughed at her choice of words 'be gone'
"No Bella I'm still writing this poem its so hard I can't get it over and done with"
I sigh not in relief but in frustration
Bella smirk and pat my back saying
"Are you also dyslexic to English"
I gave her a tiring look and continued writing
It was three o'clock already and I was supposed to be home by 2 but this work
'There will be alot of scolding today' I said to my self walking towards the school gate......
Thank God no one is at the living room I can make my entry as silent as possible,
I was ambling to the staircase when my mom asked
"weren't you supposed to come home before 3 o'clock?" She asked walking out of the kitchen my face was red due to embarrassment
"oh mom" I went and gave her a tight bear hug,
"I'm so sorry, I didn't finish my English paper work early but we can still make it to the lunch i will just change" I explained
"No dear you have to rest you must be exhausted beside I was about to call and cancel the reservations anyway I will make some food so we will just eat here, let me inform your dad because he said he is going to the restaurant directly from his office so now he will just come home"
I felt sad that I ruined their plans,
"I'm sorry mom I spoiled yours and dad's plan, but mum you can go with out me I will be okay here so it will be like a date" I winked,
"Its fine dear what will you be doing alone in the house?" mom added
"mom I will be fine, now go and retouch your makeup" I nodded my head as a sign of assurance and she left

I can't take this boredom anymore, I'm going out!!
Mom was right we could have had the lunch or the get together here I yelped
"I'm going out but where?" yelped again
I don't care where, I'm just living this house should I go to bell's ? the thought cross my mind
No we met earlier and I can't handle her tantrums
She will just bore me with how she can find me a handsome boyfriend
I told her several times that I'm not interested I'm so happy with me dating myself I wouldn't call it being single I shrug and said to myself
" baby we are going on a date surely going on a date, lets get ready" I said to myself
I know I'm weird.
After ten minutes I was ready to go, I was about to open the door handle when it was open from back
"Dad"
I went and jump on him all in the name of giving a hug he smiled and said in an amusing voice
"Lily will never grow up! you're 21 Lily but you behave like 12"
I receded from his clutched
"Dad I'm just 20 and I'm never growing up"
I said in an amusing voice to then we all laughed including mom that was standing and watching the scene
"where are you going dear?" dad asked grinning after noticing my almost failed attempt of make up
I replied "going on a date!"
mom was shocked and also curious to know with who, so I rushed out of the house and blew some kiss as we bid goodbye because the conversation was getting long and I know where it will lead too
I was at a restaurant some few kilometers away from home I looked for a vacant sit and sat down scrutinizing the place like it was the first time I've been there i was deep in thoughts when the waiter appeared asking for my order I ordered some chips with liver and chicken wings sauce that was my favorite food so far...
some minutes later my food was on the table and i ate like someone suffering from bulimia with disregards that i was in a restaurant not at home, after I finished I stroll-back home thinking of the outcome of this date.
I laughed at my thoughts and send them away..
Mom and dad were sitting on a two sitter in the living room hands wrapped around each other when i entered,
"hey mom, hello dad" they all replied with a smile i smiled to wanting to scoot upstairs to my room because my legs were at the verge of removing when mom asked me to have a sit with them,
I wanted refusing but I just had to sit for a chit chat that I already know what is all about,
"so u went on a date?"mom asked
I nodded my head as a reply, she asked again "with who?" She again asked curiously
"My loving self mom, and we went on a lovely date like you and dad did earlier today"
I smirked,
"so you are still single" mom added
I gave her a quizzical look
"No mom "I'm dating my" before I completed the sentence mom called my name grimly and the expression on her face oh no, I know is not time for jokes she gave me a stern look
"Lilly I know you are happy being around us, but you're not getting any older, you have start thinking of getting someone who loves you and you reciprocating those feelings, I know you think you don't need any one but nobody knows what the future holds me and your dad are not getting any older we want to see our grandchildren before we go" she explains
Dad was pretending he didn't hear our conversation, he was seriously watching the television and I went and gave mom a hug and said jokingly
"mom just tell me you are tired of having me around, you want me to get married and dad is also tired of me jumping on him"
he smiled and touch my hair
"your mom is right you should start thinking about the future". he added
"Dad you too?" and we all laughed

Finally holiday was around the corner I'm so tired of school, all those assignments and stuffs
"Lilly I'm more than excited for this holiday season, I have so many plans, my ofriends are setting something up and Lilly we are going together, you can't refuse its just for a week or two and even justin is coming the most handsome guy in college" Bella added
I gave Bella a weird look and nudge her with my elbows i laughed and Bella groan
"Why don't you want to commit you are so beautiful Lilly men will kill to be with you"
she switched the topic touching my hair
That was the question 'why don't you want to commit Lilly'?
It ranged in my head
I asked myself, is it that I'm afraid or my thinking that I wasn't Good enough,
I don't even know and I never gave it a thought until now that everyone is on my neck even daddy.
"Lilly!" bella shouts from my left
"are you okay?" she asked I replied "yes just lost in some world".
"okay lets go to the canteen i saw justin going towards the canteen" Bella drag my hand
"No I'm not interested you can go it's like you're catching feelings for Justin" I remarked laughing and bella frowned saying
No, it's nothing like that she just like him he's cool he takes my fancies
she said slyly
"Bella your fancies?" I laughed harder this time "Lets go and say hy to justin, so your fancies will not be taken" I joked.
The canteen was so crowded with pupils everywhere and this makes me uncomfortable because I'm the not so fond of people type, not the crowd type.
justin was seated with a friend of his having their meal , when I and Bella approach the two friends.
"Hy Justin" we said in unison
"Hey Lilly, how are you it's been long i saw you join us lets eat" he said excited
"No, we just wanted to say"
before completing my sentence I heard Bella saying
"wow its a pleasure"
and she sat giving her hand to justin for a hand shake
"I'm Bella Danny i also study here"
justin too gave out his hand in response .
Justin is a classmate of mine we are not really that close but when ever we meet we exchange compliments,
He is really handsome as bella said,
He is tall and very light skin, his eyes were gray and also sexy he has a great body with biceps that showed even under his shirt,
his lips were slightly pink and he wears a chestnut brown hair, he is just cool and many of the girls in school are crazy for him so is Bella.
"Have a sit Lilly, lets chat I don't know when I'm getting this opportunity again" he smirked
I smiled at justin and took a seat next to Bella, "this is my friend Elliot he is new here, he was transferred here few weeks ago maybe you have seen him around?" he said pointing to the guy next to him
"I doubt" I said moving my hand towards Elliot for a handshake
"I'm Lilly Nelson, nice meeting you"
Elliot was just as handsome as Justin maybe even more handsome, I can't tell who is more handsome, except for Elliot eyes where slightly green and his hair was black and kind of long he had a wonderful smile
"how are you finding this place?" i asked wanting to start a conversation so Bella would have a chance to talk with Justin,
"well this environment is fun, i like it very much here" he replied moving his hand into his hair smirking
I giggled at his actions and continued eating my food that Bella and Justin brought,
leaving Justin and Bella in a serious conversation.
We were done eating I looked up to see Justin's eyes looking towards me and then our eyes met Justin looked down I could notice the embarrassment on his face,
he look up asking if i was going to the trip they planned
"I'm not sure but maybe I will go with you guys"
"wow that will be great isn't it Elliot?"
Justin asked Elliot nodded with a smile...
It was December already and we were also on break from college, I had spent a lot of time with mom and dad, those two people means the whole world to me
I often meet with Bella since our houses were few kilometers away
I and Bella were friends since we were kids, we attended the same school since 1st grade and ever since , we have been very close
I can hypothetically say that she is my best friend
Bella is taller than me with a long brown hair cascading her back, her eyes are cat like golden, she is always wearing makeup up and have her nails manicured like a super star in those hollywood I sometimes feel jealous of her because she is always looking beautiful like a model, she is figure 8 she is prettier than I I'm
I looked my self at the mirror
I stare at my dark brown eyes, with my long brown hair that's always in a ponytail
I had a slightly pink lips scratch that they were really pink not slightly that was the only part of me that made me feel beautiful.
"Lily you have to be fast Justin and the others are waiting for us down stairs, why didn't u pack earlier I told you a week before and also reminded you yesterday and you are not yet ready Lilly" she snapped giving me a sad look
"Bella i was nervous I don't feel to good about this trip and me leaving mom and dad alone I can't even imagine how they will cope without me around" I explained
"Lilly, I know how you feel, but I promise you'll feel better once we're there beside Justin and Elliot will also be there"

I gave her a blank look
The trip was quite fun its been three days since we have been here we camped beside the beach, the cool breeze from the deep blue sea, the hills that look so tall and impossible for some one to reach , the lights, the beautiful scenery, the fun and everything was what i was falling in love with.
Bella and I were seated by the hill side chit chatting when Elliot and Justin appeared "hy guys, why are you here all alone? don't u want the company of the guys" he said moving his hand in his hair this action of Justin and Elliot is so cute.
"Let's go and get some drinks Bella" Justin said Bella followed Justin, leaving me and Elliot together
"tell me how do you like it here?" he asked holding my hands
I was feeling uncomfortable, Elliot noticed, so he let go of my hand
"I've been waiting for this chance Lilly, I've been wanting to talk to you"
Elliot said, looking directly into my eyes
"Elliot is everything okay?" I asked sounding confused
"I think i like you Lilly, you're are beautiful"
He moved closer holding a my wrist
"Elliot i like you too and I consider you to be my friend"
I moving a hair from my face
"I like you as a friend relax Lilly, you look so tensed" he smirked
and I was so embarrassed.
Justin and Bella where back with the drinks so I just collected mine and left to the room
" Elliot what happened to Lilly?" Bella asked with an expression of concern
"she's okay, i guess" Elliot shrugged
I can't believe I made a fool of my self
How can i think that Elliot likes me in another way not as a friend, when he has girls like Mandy the school miss perfect hovering over him
