Will and RJ filmed some clips of Benji's very first week home with them! Will and RJ are very excited to finally have their baby boy home.
Sunday Night
Will films himself, RJ and Benji in bed. Benji is watching Octonauts.
"Hi, buddy." Will says and Benji smiles at Will.
"Hi, Daddy! Papi fell asleep." Benji says as Will films RJ who's asleep.
"He did fall asleep. Are you ready to go back to sleep?" Will says and Benji nods.
Will films another clip of Benji sleeping next to him. Will smiles and kisses Benji's cheek.
Will films Benji and RJ sleeping together and Will waves goodbye.
Monday
RJ films Will and Benji playing together. They are playing with LEGOS.
"Woah, what are you making?" RJ asks Benji.
"A skyscraper!" Benji says with a cheeky smile.
"That's so cool!" RJ says and Will smiles.
Will films a clip of RJ and Benji running around and chasing each other. Benji is giggling and smiling brightly.
A few hours later, Benji is taking a nap. RJ and Will are laying on the couch.
"Little guy is taking a nap. RJ and I are bored now that he's asleep." Will says as RJ giggles.
"We are bored, but happy he is napping so we can relax and get house work or work done." Will says and RJ smiles.
Will films himself and RJ walking into Benji's bedroom. Benji just woke up from his nap.
"Hi, bubba. Did you take a nice nap?" RJ asks and Benji nods.
"Where's Dobby?" Benji asks Will.
"He's downstairs, bud. He's waiting for you to come downstairs to play." Will says and Benji giggles.
Will then films a clip of Benji sitting with Dobby. Benji is looking through a picture book.
"Are you reading to Dobby?" Will asks Benji.
"Yeah! He likes to be read too." Benji says with a grin.
Tuesday
Will is holding Benji in his arms as Benji screams loudly.
Will rubs circles into Benji's back as Benji has a panic attack.
"It's okay, bubba. It's okay. Daddy and I are here." RJ says softly.
Will kisses Benji's cheek and continues to rub his back. Will films Benji once he calms down.
"Are you feeling better?" RJ asks Benji.
"Uh huh. Daddy, Papi, can I eat a snack?" Benji asks Will and RJ.
"Of course, bud. What do you want?" Will asks Benji.
"Fruit pwease!" Benji says as he jumps up and down.
"Which fruits would you like?" RJ asks as he opens the refrigerator.
"An apple, banana and grapes. Pwease!" Benji says with a big smile.
RJ and Will cut up the fruit for Benji to eat.
"Here you go, bubba. Don't feed Dobby the grapes." Will says.
Benji happily eats his fruit and watches a movie.
"Mmm, is it good?" RJ asks and Benji giggles.
"Yes! I wuv fruit." Benji says with a chuckle.
Will then films RJ reading Benji a story. Benji is sitting on RJ's lap. RJ is reading Little Red Riding Hood.
"So cute." Will whispers as he watches Benji and RJ together.
Wednesday
Benji runs around with the camera. "There's Daddy and Papi! They are cuddling!" Benji says as he climbs on the bed.
"We are cuddling. Do you wanna join us?" RJ asks Benji.
"Uh huh!" Benji says as he lays in between Will and RJ.
The next clip is of Will holding Benji's hand as they, RJ and Dobby go to the dog park.
"Throw the frisbee, bubba!" RJ says as Benji throws the frisbee.
Dobby chases it and Benji giggles. Dobby runs over to Benji and gives the frisbee to him.
Benji giggles as he throws the frisbee again.
RJ films Benji playing in the bath tub. The bath tube water is green from color tablets and has bubbles.
"What color is the water?" RJ asks Benji.
"It's green! Daddy made it green!" Benji says as he chuckles.
"Papi! I have a ducky in here and some cars!" Benji says and RJ smiles.
"Cool! Sit down. Be careful." RJ says and Benji sits down.
Benji splashes the water and laughs loudly. Will grabs a clump of bubbles and puts it on Benji's head. Benji giggles loudly.
After bath time, Will tickles him and Benji giggles.
"Let me get your medicine on and then we can read a book." Will says and Benji smiles.
Will films Benji fast asleep in RJ's lap.
"Aww, so cute." Will says as RJ kisses his cheek.
Thursday
RJ films a clip of himself and Benji sitting in the living room. It is 2am.
"Are you ready to go back to bed now?" RJ asks Benji.
"I don't know. I'm scared." Benji says with a frown.
"Don't be scared. It's okay." RJ says as he yawns.
Benji crawls into RJ's lap and RJ kisses his forehead.
RJ films another clip of Benji watching Cars and is starting to finally get sleepy at 4am.
"Bubba, are you ready for bed?" RJ asks Benji.
"Uh huh. Can you rub my back?" Benji asks as he grabs his teddy bear.
"Of course, bubba. Let's go to bed." RJ says as he picks up Benji and lays him down in his bed.
RJ films Benji's back and finally gets him to sleep.
"Goodnight, baby boy." RJ says as he kisses Benji's cheek.
Will films a clip of himself holding a half asleep Benji.
"Hi, big boy. Whatcha doing?" Will says as Benji yawns.
"Just woke up. I'm hungry." Benji says.
RJ films Benji with syrup all over his face.
"You were hungry, huh?" RJ says and Benji giggles.
Will films RJ and Benji play wrestling, making Benji laugh loudly.
Friday
Will films a clip of RJ putting the scar cream on Benji's burn scars to help them lighten up.
"Hey, cutie pie!" Will says making Benji smile.
"Don't look at my boo boos! They are ugly." Benji says as he frowns.
"Don't say that, bud. These scars show what a big, brave and strong boy you are!" RJ says as Will playfully pinches Benji's cheek.
"We put this cream on your boo boos to make them lighter and not noticeable." Will says as he fixes Benji's hair.
RJ films a clip of Dobby and Benji laying together on the floor. Benji has them both covered up with his blanket and they are watching Power Rangers.
"Are you and Dobby watching Power Rangers?" RJ asks Benji.
"Yes! Dobby is laying with me and I'm keeping him warm!" Benji says making RJ aw.
Will films RJ and Benji making cookies. RJ is using the rolling pin to flatten it out and Benji is using a cookie cutter to make the cookies in different shapes.
RJ gives Benji a little bit of cookie dough and Benji eats it.
"Don't do that, RJ." Will says making RJ laugh.
"We only eat a little bit of cookie dough at a time okay? Because you can get sick." RJ says as Benji eats more cookie dough and giggles.
"What kind of cookies are you and Papi making?" Will asks Benji.
"Chocolate chip!" Benji says as he hands RJ some cookie dough to eat.
Saturday
Benji is waving a gay pride flag and smiles at the camera.
"I love rainbows!" Benji says making Will and RJ smile.
"Do you love your flag, bubba?" RJ asks Benji.
"Uh huh!" Benji says with a big proud smile.
Will then films Benji playing in his kiddy pool.
"Do you love your pool?" Will asks as Benji splashes him.
"Yes, Daddy!" Benji says as he smiles at Will.
Benji plays with the hose with Dobby. Benji and Dobby run around and play in the kiddy pool.
Will and RJ had a wonderful first week with Benji :)
