(Matilda's POV)
I woke up to the sound of Katie banging on my bedroom door,
"Matilda get up!" She basically screams through the door, I'm guessing the littles are awake and already causing terror, I jump up out of bed and pull some clothes out of my suitcase, I run across the hall and jump in the shower. I wash my hair, shave my legs and I use some of Jades body wash. I shut off the water and dry my body, I blow dry my hair and straighten it,
"Mal lets go!" Katie calls again,
"Coming!" I run back across the hall to my room, I grab my suit case, backpack and my leather jacket. I dash down the stairs and into the kitchen, "is he here yet?" I ask excitedly
"He just pulled up, I'm going to miss you Mal" Katie remarks, wiping one of her tears away.
"I'm going to miss you to, can you give these to Nick and Indigo for me please." I ask handing her two envelopes
"Sure thing."
I bite my lip and wrap my arms around Katie, pulling her into a hug,
"Hello?!" Katie pushes me away and answers the Brit,
"In the kitchen Tom" she calls, while drying her eyes. Tom walks in wear a light blue shirt and black dress pants,
"Ready to go darling?" He asks, I sigh and look around. It's not easy leaving your home and everything you know and love.
"Ya Tom I'm ready."
"Okay, let me take your bag."
"No it's okay, I can take it"
"Are you sure?" Tom asks,
"Ya I'm sure, see you soon Katie." I wave over my shoulder as I walk out of the door and towards Tom's car,
"Bye Mal."

I lean my head up against the car window, and watch the rain drops run down the window,
"Matilda are you okay?" Tom asks,
"Ya I'm fine, just nervous - I guess"
"Don't be, we are going to stop at Chris' house for dinner and the we are gonna fly to Toronto"
"And the London?"
"Then London" he confirms, there is a slight lull in the conversation,
"I didn't know that Chris lived in Canada." I say, in attempt to start a conversation.
"He doesn't," Tom replies "it's a vacation home for him and his family."
"Cool" I bend forward and unzip my backpack, I pull out my head phones and plug them into my phone, I turn on my music and pull my knees up to my chest.
The car ride to Chris' house is quite, Tom didn't say much he just looked out the window. I tried to loose myself in my music, right now I'm listening to the dear Evan Hansen sound track it's one of my favourite musicals, I pull out one of my earbuds,
"See that right there," I say to Tom, he leans over to where I'm sitting and looks out the window, "that's my dance studio, or was. Oh! That over there is Stanley park, and down that way a few miles is pigeon park."
"What's in pigeon park?" Tom asks,
"It's the park for drug addicts." Tom's eyes widen, when I mention the word drugs.
"You you haven't been there have you." I nod,
"And why did you go in there?"
"My dance teacher took us through, when we got to the entrance there was a man who was missing both of his legs screaming 'don't bring them here, get them out! They don't need to see this!' He just kept screaming, but when we got through the park my teacher said to us 'I took you through there so you can see how much drugs screw up your life.' And that trip scared me so much that I'm never going to do drugs"
"Well she seems like a good teacher!" Tom exclaims,
"She was actually a he, his name was Tyler"
"Was? As in past tense?" Tom asks, raising an eyebrow
"Ya, umm he had cancer, stage 4"
"Darling I'm so sorry,"
"don't worry about it."
"We're here sir." The driver says, putting the car in park.
"Are you ready Mal?"
"As I'll ever be."
